We wanted to try a different hotel right on Montaigne, since we were in town to do some shopping. The hotel advertised A/C, which was our second important reason for choosing this hotel. Yes it was close to 30 Celsius when we arrived in Paris, but luckily it turned cooler after two days. We arrived to a hot room at 26 Celsius. We requested help with the A/C system to make sure we had it turned down as cold as possible. By next morning it had only cooled down to 25.5 Celsius, which is about 74 Fahrenheit. We like to sleep in a cold bedroom, at least 15 Celsius or 62 Fahrenheit. This may sound a small issue to some, but again the reason why we booked this hotel was location AND A/C. Our suite was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, the sheets were amazing and most of the staff tried very hard. Some not so much. We tried breakfast one morning, but left with out if, because the overworked ONE PERSON running breakfast had to many tables. The hotel only has ONE elevator that is shared between all guests, housekeeping and room service and our suite being at the top made wait times long. Cute hotel with lots of potential but many missed opportunities. There was mostly only ONE person covering the front-desk and concierge area and that one person was mostly on the phone when ever we passed through the lobby. It just was not a very personable experience.
