Hotel Monterey La Soeur Fukuoka

i enjoyed that they had parking available however you do need to pay ¥1800 for 24 hrs. it’s not a regular parking garage but more of a multi story garage. the rooms were quite spacious, the bed has space to put your luggage underneath. the service was amazing! my hubby and i got in room massage service and it was pretty good! i had an older lady who was surprisingly strong! she massaged parts of my calf that most other masseuse tend to neglect. location was pretty good, it’s close to the station and close to some good food areas. no onsen here. i would come back to this hotel

I stayed for 2 nights in a Standard Single Room. The location in Tenjin was very convenient, close to shops, food, and the subway. The room was clean, comfortable, and great for a solo stay. Staff were polite and helpful. Loved the strong shower pressure! Great value for the area.

27 November 2025 – Journey with Chan Brothers Today marks the end of an incredible adventure organised by Chan Brothers Tours. After a delicious breakfast at Hotel Monterey La Soeur Fukuoka, we headed to the airport, bringing our 8D7N Picturesque Kyushu journey to a close. The past eight days have been filled with stunning landscapes, cultural treasures, and unforgettable experiences—from the serene hot springs to the vibrant streets of Fukuoka. As I wait for my flight back to Singapore on SQ656, I can’t help but feel grateful for the seamless planning and thoughtful touches that made this trip so enjoyable. Chan Brothers truly lived up to their reputation for creating memorable travel experiences. Soon, I’ll be home, but Kyushu’s charm and the friendships forged along the way will stay with me forever

A classy hotel that we stayed at for two nights whilst in Fukuoka. Near the city centre, convenient walk to the train station, and has good amenities provided. The staff were most helpful at the check in counter and provided us with all the information we needed; the rooms were clean and spacious enough for us to open two large luggages (with a little bit of navigation).

The hotel is located just within walking distance to Tenjin station packed with shopping malls and F&B outlets.So I decided to come back here for 2nd time. However, the room we got this time is extremely dusty, my friend got skin irritation and I got eye irritation a while later when we got into our room. With the heater conditioning during this winter season, it is really an unpleasant stay. We had to ask the hotel staff to open the window for us for fresh airflow. The closet and aircon vent is duty too. Luckily it is just a 2-nights stay this time. Will not be staying at this hotel again for my future trips in Fukuoka.

Air conditioning temperature unable to change even there’s a thermostat “Daikin” controller was installed in room 708. In terms of safety, there’s no window guard/protection when the window was open due to the room temperature was too high and you're required to sign on a consent form for this issue. In room 311, bath tub drainage was clogged. Fortunately, When something happens, staffs always take immediate action for the guest.

I have a very bad experience in staying in hotel. I have a mail to send to the hotel, although the sender has sent to me a wrong name but I ask him to send with my room reservation number. Finally the hotel reject the mail even there is a reservation number. I ask the hotel staff to check for me the status, but the hotel staff only communicate with you in Japanese. When I use translator to communicate with him, HE just continue to speak in Japanese ignoring the situation whether you understand or not. The manner is really bad and not helpful. Although it is just one of the staff I had experience but the staff representing the hotel so even only one bad guy already overruled all the rest.

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was very clean, and the front desk staff were very nice. We will come back here again if we return to Fukuoka. Thanks especially to Ms. Uehara for her superb assistance upon check in to check out 💕

Love the location (Tenjin) and there area a few yaitai running downstairs at night or you can walk to other huge group of yaitai easily within 10 mins walk. Room is standard but i wish they will have more practical facilities such as microwave and convenience stores. Will stay somewhere else next time.
