Hotel Monteriggioni

It was such a treat to stay in this beautiful hotel inside Monteriggionni. The staff was welcoming and provided the friendliest and most thorough service. The rooms were charming, peaceful and clean and the staff attended to all of our needs. We would recommend and stay again. The town is so quaint and offered wonderful opportunities to explore and experience this beautiful village life.

We spent 3 nights here earlier this week. We wanted a small Tuscan town close to Siena and close to other small (everything is huge compared to this town) towns. The Hotel Monteriggioni was perfect for us. (Thank you Chat GPT) 🤣. The room was clean, and updated. The free buffet breakfast was great. The blood orange juice was THE BEST (we don’t have blood oranges in NY). There are a few restaurants in town for dinner which were also very good. I highly recommend Hotel Monteriggioni if you want an authentic Tuscan experience. (Pics are not of the hotel but of the town. I didn’t take any pics inside )

My wife and I happened upon this hotel whilst on an excursion to Monteriggioni and immediately booked in for two nights. The following day we checked in and had the most extraordinary stay. The location is truly amazing, a hotel within a small medieval town, surrounded by history. Our room had a spectacular Tuscan countryside view while the breakfast on the terrace and the use of the swimming pool added to the enjoyment of our stay. A special mention must be made of the fantastic husband and wife team, Francesca and Francesco, who did everything possible to make our visit enjoyable.

A very nice little hotel with a unique location! Nice service, large and safe parking, rooms with a view and breakfast in the garden. Especially nice, the atmosphere in the village in the evenings. We already recommended it to our friends and we might be back when in Toskany.

We had a very pleasant night in this charming village guest house and had a delicious breakfast. We would recommend it to all. The swallows flying around to their nests in the eaves was really fun to watch in the morning.

Nothing can fault the stay at Hotel Monteriggioni, we were greeted with a friendly face on arrival (who really didn't take offence to our poor Italian!) and the rooms were spacious, airy and immaculate with stunning views of the ancient structures surrounding the hotel. Breakfast was lovingly prepared and served on the patio area with attentive staff offering coffee options but not before wishing us a good morning with the biggest smiles. The location is picturesque and oozing with culture, however take note that taxis are hard to come by and can be hefty in price. We visited Tuscany for a wedding nearby and were stumped when it came to transport, however the staff at the hotel were more than happy to help and made life that little bit less stressful. This hotel really feels like a home away from home and I cannot recommend it enough.

A wonderful and very special hotel. A magical place in the heart of Monteriggioni with a secret garden and excellent service. The piazza and delicious restaurants a few footsteps away.

We really loved the place and the experience. Castle itself is like a fairytale, surrounded by great restaurants. Staff was very helpful, always smiling and helpful. Breakfast and the small garden was great. We had a delightful experience. We will be going back soon! :) One warning about the reservations: DONT DO IT OVER BOOKING.COM, hotel gives much better rates.

We stopped for the night at this fabulous hotel right inside the walls of the fortress. Absolutely amazing. The photos on booking do not do it justice. The proprietors even gave us a bowl of fresh plums from their garden and when we were leaving they put them in a bag for us. So hospitable. Breakfast included.
