Hotel Montesol Benidorm

Good little hotel in a convenient position for the beach and lots of decent restaurants. Room was quiet as it's on a small road and curtains were thick so didn't get woken up by the sun. AC worked well and was quiet, shower had good pressure. Breakfast was tasty but some of the buffet was a bit cool, at least it wasn't overdone and dried out so good on balance for me! Room was clean when we let them in and we had a little fridge for drinks. Good value overall.

Good position, short walk to the beach and old town restaurants but not on a busy road so quiet at night. AC worked well and was very quiet, curtains kept the sun out so sleep was easy. Cleaning was fine when we let them in. Staff were polite and efficient. Breakfast was tasty, buffet, so some cooled down but then it wasn't overdone and crispy; always difficult. Bus transfer from the airport worked well and was far cheaper than taxis.

A nicely located modernised hotel. Check-in was easy and quick. The toom, for two, was a little small but cosy. The shower room was very large by comparison to the room size. Ample pressure and hot water. The AC in the room was new and though it is slow to respond, it works very well. The buffet breakfast, had many choices but unfortunately all the hot choices...were cold.

Average hotel, bad food. Overall, better than I expected for the price. My room was compact, but with a good bed, excellent TV, and fridge. The bathroom was stylish. My economy room view was of the internal building - fine for a short stay. As I’d booked half-board, breakfast and dinner was included. It was cheap so I didn’t expect much and it really wasn’t great. Options from the buffet were limited, poor quality and bland. For a short stay it’s fine, but for your holiday, you really deserve better food than what’s provided here.

Very clean throughout, room service/cleaning excellent, good air conditioning in room, well maintained, decent sized room (115), pleasant and efficient staff. Shower tray was very slippery, non-slip mat urgently needed. Breakfast buffet, although a reasonable selection, was always cold (even when direct from the kitchen!). Hotel location great 5-10mins walk to beach, bars & restaurants yet far enough away to be relatively quiet. Unlike some other reviewers who said that the hotel doesn't favour British guests, I found the welcome & service received to be excellent throughout my entire stay.|I will certainly stay here again but considering the consistantly cold breakfast would book room only next time |

The hotel was great, spacious room, with terrace + fridge and the shower pressure was great too. They had events in the night but you couldn’t hear it from the room, which it was nice. Parking is possible if you ask reception since it’s chaotic to try and park on the street. Overall I had a great stay!

Absolutely unhelpful reception, no matter what I asked about ( or for ), there was always issue. In my single room couple of things wasn't working, they always said 'we will let technical know', no one ever came to my room. I even asked for spare blanket, morning reception noticed something in their computer, when I asked again in the evening, I've heard 'they don't have spare blanket'. There's note by tv with instructions how to cast stuff from your phone, this also wasn't working ( was told it will take days to fix it too ). No veggies for breakfast... these are just examples. Oh, don't expect any view though your room window view - it just wall ( 3 m apart ) without sky.

Don't be fooled by the parking. They charge 16 euros a day. Hotel is well located. Food is ok. Would not recommend a long stay
