The team of receptionists as well as the staff handling the breakfast buffet were both extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room service on the other hand was a bit of a let down - they seemed to forget one thing or another almost every day, one day they would take the old towels but forget to leave new ones, next day, there would be no toilet paper, then they'd forgot to replace the full garbage bag with an empty one... However, the real disappointment came upon checkout: We had brought our cat for an extra CHF 30 per day. When I asked the hotel ahead of the trip what was included in this extra fee, I was told bowls, a little pet carpet and cleaning. In the end, there were no bowls, no carpet, I had to clean the litter box and bowls (that I organized myself) and even pick up the litter pieces the cat inevitably dragged out of the litter box from the carpet by hand, since room service did not even bother to vacuum clean. Upon checkout, we inquired whether we could get a discount on the pet fee, given that we had not received any of the promised services. Our request was met with a somewhat snotty response by the hotel manager, who merely stated that we had agreed to the fee and she could not change the fact that we had not received the promised services, but that we had to pay the full amount regardless. Needless to say that we won't be back...
