It's quiet at night. It's clean. The breakfast is tasty. The room is basic. Everything works. It's best for a single male traveler. It's in a prime location for sightseeing. The staff is friendly. Security is fine. I travel 6 months of the year for business and pleasure. I'm completely ok with this hotel. If you are looking for a luxury vacation rental or a holiday inn you'll have to spend a lot more money. The best thing is that it is quiet at night. Great for sleeping. Also the ac is good.

It is a tiny room that fits a double bed and a separate bathroom. There is nothing except a soap and a towel. You have to surrender your key if you want a new towel and fix the bed. I stayed for five nights and my room was cleaned once. The breakfast is another story. A toast with cheese and meat, a espresso coffee and a juice. No choice at all. The location is great and WIFI is ok too.

The hotel is perfectly located in the old town "Zona Colonial" area of Santo Domingo. The street Calle El Conde is a "walking street" so is perfect for tourists to walk, shop, people watch, eat & drink without worrying about traffic. The hotel itself however has very poor lodging. My room was very small, no closet or wardrobe only big enough for the bed. The bathroom also was small with no proper door to close for privacy. The actual door into my hotel room was a wooden door so badly warped that it was very difficult to open or close without much effort. I would rate the room itself as no more than 1 star out of 5 at best. Also the receptionist was not very helpful or friendly at check-in.

The location of the hotel is really good but that's the only think that's good with the hotel. They didn't speak English at all, there was no warm water and a lots of times we had no electricity. It was not really dirty but it was not clean nether The breakfast is just one toast and a glass of juice.

this place is right on the conde in the heart of santo domingo, it's cheap and well located. Moreno is usually at reception and is very nice. comes with air conditioner, cable, and a shower. can't ask for more than that for 25 US. over the years back and forth to santo domingo I've stayed there probably over 40 times. can't complain.

Clean. Prime location for the area. We felt safe. Surprisingly it wasnt loud in the rooms considering that the balcony was open n the parties were like right there. The place was 35 but I got it for 25 through hotels. I think I'd even pay 35 if I had to tbh.

I came through Santo Domingo on my way to a research/conservation project in a different part of the country. So, I only stayed one night. I had a lot of baggage and needed a place to stay for one night. The hotel's taxi affiliate helped me get all my heavy stuff from the airport to the hotel for $1,800 RD (this is expensive for anywhere else on the island, but reasonable for airport --> Zona Colonial). My girlfriend forgot her expensive camera in the back seat of the van. I got a knock on my door early the next morning by the staff saying that the taxi driver was coming to return it to us. He expected us to pay the same fee that we paid him before, since he lives over by the airport. We were happy to comply with that seeing that we were fortunate no one had stolen the camera.||||Other notes:||One down side to the hotel is that it's on a "walking-only" street. So, I had to haul all my luggage 100ft from the street to the door.||The hotel is flexible with check-in and check-out times, but be sure to communicate it with them in advance.||The room was very basic, but had great air conditioning.||The room was fairly clean, and there did not appear to be any bed bugs or cockroaches.

I stayed at this hotel for two days. It’s NOT a luxury hotel at all. The rooms are EXTREMELY small but they’re clean and have A/C.||If you want to save money and aren’t concerned with having a lot of frills this place is okay. The breakfast that’s advertised as being included is a egg and cheese sandwich with coffee, nothing special.||I might stay here again but it would not be my first choice.
