We booked this place with no expectation but it blew our mind with their hospitality and service that was provided to us from the moment we arrived at the hotel. Javier is so amazing and very professional. He gave us a history tour about the hotel and provided recommendations and always willing to assist us in any capacity. He upgraded our room and it was the best stay we had in a long time. They welcome us with a bottle of wine. I definitely recommend this place as it was the best experience we had. Gracias Javier and Laura for your hospitality, you are the Best!

The historic property has been tastefully and thoughtfully renovated and modernized to create 6 beautiful and comfortable hotel rooms. The location in a small plaza is fantastic because it is very quiet, yet all the interesting sights like the mezquita, and many restaurants, are all easily accessible by foot. The owners Javier and Laura were exceptionally kind and courteous, and we appreciated their helping us with dinner reservations and suggestions of where to explore. They also arranged for my visit to the baths (hammam), which are conveniently located just around the corner. It was a lovely experience and well worth a visit.

This hotel blew our expectations, we booked it because it’s in a great location, but we fell in love with it because of its beauty, history and the amazing service. Javier was very helpful, he provided recommendations for restaurants and activities around the city. He gave us a historical tour of the hotel and provided the best experience. We spent a night in Cordoba to kick off our honeymoon. Our room was so nice, it had multiple windows, great view, and a historic wall. The hotel staff surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne and a sweet note to congratulate us on our marriage. Highly recommend this beautiful hotel, the hospitality was unmatched and unlike any other place. Gracias a Javier y La Ermita Suites por la mejor experiencia, nunca lo olvidaremos ❤️

We stayed on the top floor of La Ermita Suite while in Córdoba. Javier graciously introduced us to the history of the building and showed us how to use the room key to access the property when the front desk was closed. The apartment is beautifully renovated, impeccably clean, spacious, and quiet, and it’s just a short walk from the Mezquita and other major sights. Be careful when returning to the apartment from the terrace off the living area—the doorway is lower than expected, and I learned this the hard way. From the terrace, you can glimpse the tips of the cathedral and the bell tower (see photo). One small practical note: the hangers in the closets are too wide for the space and, while a minor detail, felt slightly out of keeping with the overall quality of the suite. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. Nestled within Córdoba’s narrow streets, we felt for a time as though we were living in the long shadow of the Mosque–Cathedral, where history feels less like the past and more like a living presence.

This is truly a luxurious hotel that surprised me with all the little things that, while you would expect in a higher end hotel, I didn’t expect with the price I paid. It was what I considered a “budget” booking of 65 EUROS but once again, wow what a pleasant surprise. Perhaps because it’s off season and a weeknight? Regardless… ITS A MUST. Gorgeous and updated modern accoutrements. My room has a king size bed with a balcony overlooking a charming street just off the Juderia or Jewish district. Walking distance from all the things you would want in the older district of this charming city. And the bonus… it has a nice spa on the bottom floor with jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath… and massage services! Reasonable prices too. If I returned to Cordoba, this would be my hotel… See my pictures

This is a beautiful jewel of a hotel. It’s small with only 6 rooms in the hotel. We were fortunate to take the full top floor with plenty of space (living area with a mini kitchen and an outside balcony space). It’s a lovely and clean hotel. They offered lots of help and suggestions. And lastly - it’s so close to the cathedral!

We rarely write reviews, but the experience we enjoyed at La Ermita Suites was so good that we make an exception. While the location and the place itself are superb already, what makes all the difference is the outstanding dedication and genuine care of Javier. If we could give seven out of five stars for "Service", we would not hesitate to do so!
