Hotel Mooirivier

A nice spacious hotel with a lot of personal attention. Beautiful wellness with a great view on a field full of flowers while we were there (June)! A lovely and fresh and healty breakfast and a nice spacious lounge. The little river in front good to have a swim in the morning!

Beautiful location at the river and a great base to cycle in this beautiful part of The Netherlands. Overall excellent experience. Room was not super clean and bigger issue was that there’s no airco, as it was warm, we didn’t sleep well. Also internet in the room is poor. Our last morning housekeeping knocked at our door at 9.00AM - while we didn’t check out yet. Nice concept if you book for 2 nights, you have the option to get a free drink instead of having your room done. What’s nice is that there’s a big indoor storage to leave your bikes and you can charge them there as well if they are electric. The terrace is great, with a great view. Food quality is excellent.

When booking online, the hotel excepted our booking with breakfast included, as I was leaving for work every day at 5am the hotel said they would instead give me a breakfast box, which I thought was great. When it came to check out the hotel said there was an outstanding balance of €110 euros. I asked what is this for they explained it was for the 5 breakfast boxes even though I’ve paid for the room with breakfast. I sent the booking to them and showed it had breakfast included they then proceeded to take the money from my card. I’m in the middle of pursuing this with the hotel.

Rooms, environment, kitchen, all deserve 5 stars, but for the servicei need to give a separate line. Each of stuff members is helpful, so friendly, and real hard-workers; what is even more amazing, they are not fake [as usually the trained big hotel employees, with full respect for them] To sum up, I give 7 stars. This is the place where, in only 24 hours, me and my husband recharged our batteries full. Quiet environment and its nature is beautiful and fresh even in January's grey days.

We've stayed at the hotel both in summer and in winter and both stays had their own charm. The location is dreamlike, the foor is next level and the service extraordinary. Definitely worth it if you're looking for the ultimate relaxing break.

Terrible noisy room!!! Engine noise and bad sound insulation. You can hear noise guests of other rooms moving around and talking.||Small wellness spa. Guests need to take turn and wait. No swimming pool nor hot tub.||Breakfast is not worth the money.

The hotel was such a nice environment for sleeping that I never experienced jet lag at all on my trip from the US - the room was cool and comfortable and completely quiet and dark!

Gosh this place is unreal.||Incredible location, the restaurant was soooo good - Michelin Star food combinations!||We went on a gorgeous walk in the countryside and enjoyed amazing drinks throughout the weekend.||Their sauna was pretty busy, and could do with a few more sun loungers. ||We will definitely be back! What a delight.

Beautiful night, COVID in room dinner was nice. Service was fine, the neighborhood has beatifull walks.

Great location but horrible service. On seperate occasions very slow and bad service. We were unable to sit on the patio and were deferred to the lounge area where the pillows were missing for the wooden furniture. They ensured us pillows would arrive promptly but after 15 minutes still no pillows. On another occasion we wanted to pay and asked for the bill, but had to wait for more than 20 minutes. We went inside to ask to pay but we had to wait for the waiter for another 10 minutes. Altogether it's sad to see such a beautiful place wasting it on their service.
