Hotel Mooirivier

Booked this as a birthday weekend getaway. ||Really tranquil location, loved walking in the area even with it being cold outside. ||The hotel is nicely decorated for Christmans, though would have been nice to also do something for Christmas in the rooms. ||The bed in the Deluxe riverview room is really great and huge, the bathroom has underfloor heating (that you can turn on)||No water in the room unfrotunatly, and we had to go to ask for slippers insteaf of having them in the room on arrival but that was fine.||Mostly quier though we did hear some doors closing in the hallway and people walking as the room is right across the stairs/elevator.||Overall very cozy and nice weekend away, I would say to fully enjoy all the facilities and celebrate, it should be a two nights stay :)

We had a business meeting at this location and it was perfectly arranged. The location is beautiful if you have time to walk/cycle around. If you come here for leisure, you can do tons of activities. Ask the hotel for suggestions (or the menu) and book in advance!

The hotel was beautiful, great architecture outside and in and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the couches in het lounge area of the hotel and loved to sit there, it was so relaxing and nice. The service was also great, the servers even came to the lounge area to serve drinks and snacks, and there were also a lot of options for roomservice. The surroundings of the hotel were absolutely stunning, which made the trip that much more relaxing. The only thing that kind of disappointed us, in contrast to the rest of the hotel that was absolutely great, was the dinner. The price was kind of high, which made us expect the same quality and care that we saw in the rest of the hotel. Only in our opinion the diner was kind of bland and not so nice… the meat of the main dish was tough and the first and last dish were kind of boring and didn’t wow us.. I think it would be great for Mooirivier to level up their food, then I would think it would be an overall excellent experience that would definitely make people come back!

Love the location, the vibe, the food. Super friendly staff. The rooms are somewhat minimalistic, but that's the Scandinavian style, I suppose. However, the beds are very comfy, the lighting is cosy and everything is clean and fresh.

Mooirivier is a beautiful hotel situated next to the river. It has a beautiful view to the river. The rooms are well equipped, nicely decorated with a good bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We used their restaurant which served us an excellent diner.

we booked a culinair arrangement. we were as a family together, total 8 persons.||we enjoyed our stay very much: friendly personal, nice rooms, perfect diner and good breakfast.||also the location of the hotel is beautiful, in the middle of nature and very quiet.

Beautiful location at the river and a great base to cycle in this beautiful part of The Netherlands. Overall excellent experience. Room was not super clean and bigger issue was that there’s no airco, as it was warm, we didn’t sleep well. Also internet in the room is poor. Our last morning housekeeping knocked at our door at 9.00AM - while we didn’t check out yet. Nice concept if you book for 2 nights, you have the option to get a free drink instead of having your room done. What’s nice is that there’s a big indoor storage to leave your bikes and you can charge them there as well if they are electric. The terrace is great, with a great view. Food quality is excellent.

This hotel has two fabulous assets: the staff and the location.|All staff are wonderfully friendly and ready to help.|They accomodated me with a cable to charge my cars battery. You can swim in the Vecht river. The food is good and their Tempranillo wine is great.|Any minus: two minor points. I hate breakfast rooms where the tables are prepared with fork and knife without a spoon forcing you to go spoon hunting. The other strange thing is that barhrooms with a bathtub have no soap or shampoo bottle near the tub nor a piece of soap. I wouldmplace a piece of soap on the tub.|A great place.

Beautiful night, COVID in room dinner was nice. Service was fine, the neighborhood has beatifull walks.

Great location but horrible service. On seperate occasions very slow and bad service. We were unable to sit on the patio and were deferred to the lounge area where the pillows were missing for the wooden furniture. They ensured us pillows would arrive promptly but after 15 minutes still no pillows. On another occasion we wanted to pay and asked for the bill, but had to wait for more than 20 minutes. We went inside to ask to pay but we had to wait for the waiter for another 10 minutes. Altogether it's sad to see such a beautiful place wasting it on their service.
