Hotel Moov Évora

This hotel disable the cooling on all of their rooms at this time of year ( confirmed by the on duty receptionist) my room was over 25 degrees c and did not cool adequately by opening the window.||As a consequence I had a very hot sweaty restless night of poor sleep.||Not happy with this policy. Plainly my room was kept hot by residual heat in the building and I could not get it cool to sleep comfortably. I am of the opinion that the hotel should be prioritising the comfort of its guests over the increase in profit made by reducing their fuel bill

Accommodation is modern style and very clean. Because it is not too far from the center, you can walk from the hotel to all major spots in the city. The hotel has a own parking garage thus parking of your car is not a problem.

Great location with parking for 10 euros/day. The room was fairly spacious, but very basic- there was shampoo but no body soap, fridge, etc. The room was quiet, but the ventilation was poor and the whole hotel had a very strong floral scent, which isn’t great if you’re sensitive to scents. Our shower also had mold on the tiles, and assuming the room did as well, we both my partner and I had reactions overnight.

We spent a couple of nights in Évora and found Moov to exceed our expectations. Parking on site, friendly and helpful staff, great location and nice continental breakfast. The rooms are small, well designed and clean. The size may not suit everyone, but it met our needs because we only sleep there. We would recommend this hotel for a brief stay.

It's another hotel of Moov franchise. Very similat to the Lisbon one. Very convenient location near the city centre. Everything was good, nice staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. Very fair price.

As an American tourist, I was very pleased with the quality of this hotel and especially the quality of service from the staff. Especially from a young man by the name of Claudio. He was extremely helpful with the care of my medication I take for severe rheumatoid arthritis, which is required to be kept under a certain temperature range, otherwise I get very sick. Upon arrival, when I explained this to the desk staff, Claudio immediately jumped up and took it to their refrigerator, then assured me that everything would be okay. To upper management of Moov Hotels, please recognize the outstanding quality of service that your employee, Claudio, provides to your company. It’s because of good folks like him who leave excellent impressions on us Americans and tell other people back home about your hotel.

The pros about the hotel: Location, service, and cleanliness of the room were all great. The hotel itself is aesthetically pleasing inside, and knowing it used the façade of the old bull-ring was pretty cool too. Now the cons: the pillows, were very flat and nothing to them so I didn't sleep well and had a slight headache when I woke up and the breakfast was a bit expensive for what it was. Otherwise, it was a good stay.

Clean, modern hotel with friendly staff, private parking and great location inside the castle walls and easy walking distance to the town square, wine tasting, restaurants and historical sight-seeing.
