We stayed here for 3 nights. It is in a good location within central Porto a 10 min walk from metro, next to the shopping street and about 20 min walk from the river. |It is a really clean, modern hotel similar to a travel lodge in the Uk. Nice shower and bed was average comfort. |Staff friendly and corridors/ hotel was very quiet with no noise at all which was brilliant. |The only issue we had was the room was hot . The window opened but we couldn’t get the air con to work properly and this affect our sleep.

Very nice and helpful staff, very clean rooms, quiet and nice. Didn't try the breakfast because there are so many restaurants nearby. Would stay again because the location is fabulous and it's really good value for the money. They have lockers for you to leave your luggage in before or after checkout and that's really handy. Vending machine has good coffee... who knew. There is no provision for tea or coffee in the rooms. Very happy and would stay again.

We booked this hotel 2 months prior to arrival at a rate of around 50 Euros per night. It was my mistake that I thought that I had booked 2 nights, while I in fact only booked 1 night. When asking the staff they said the room was still available but the price was 3 times as much! Around 150 Euros. As I was staying in that room and just wanted to extend, I asked if we could get a discount and firmly no was answered, which was really disappointing from customer service point of view. In the end we were really happy about just staying one night here. The room is incredibly basic, and I would even say really depressing with just one tiny window. We moved to HaoBo hotel, a bit further down the street and the price was 50% less and the room was 300% better. Bigger and more beautiful! Honestly disappointing stay at Moov.

Centrally located, and within easy reach of the Central Porto attractions, this is a no-frills, but very comfortable hotel. Beds are fine, pillows a little hard - but some people like that! Breakfast is a little carb heavy, but perfectly adequate. The staff were very helpful.

Pretty great hotel right in the middle of everything in Porto. Very walkable location, clean and quiet room. Was happy to have AC and an accessible water cooler nearby. Also, Moov had the best water pressure I’ve ever experienced in a hotel!

Will NOT be a highlight of your travels. Very basic. But great location and clean room. Finding the hotel and garage is truly difficult. Using the hotel address was not very useful. With the awful traffic and continuously circling to find the hotel after missing it, we had a very frustrating experience. The staff made it easier by providing driving tips once we made it to the hotel. Use the address for “República Dos Cachorros” restaurant to find the very small (inconspicuous) alleyway entrance on the right to the street that leads to the hotel and parking garage.

The location couldn't be better for walking around the city center. The interior is modern and fun but the rooms are spare and a bit depressing. We were in a twin share room with tiny beds and not much space to open our suitcases. The bathroom was decent and breakfast was wonderful. This isn't a hotel where you'll want to spend a lot of time but it's a nice place to rest your head in the city center.

Good value hotel in superb old town location. Clean modern rooms, only one small pillow per person let the comfort down a little but on the whole a good experience.

Yelp
Can't recommend this place highly enough. Definitely will be my first choice if I am visiting Porto again (which I certainly hope to.) In fact, we are a bit disappointed that they don't have more locations, though the staff told us that they will be in Lisbon soon. Great value, centrally located close to main attractions as well as Sao Bento train and subway stations, super helpful staff, comfortable and clean room. They let us keep our luggage at their hotel for a few days when we spent a few days in Douro Valley, and when we asked for hot water from the cafe to make some tea, they lent us a kettle. It's a small hotel, so not a lot of rooms. Book early!

Yelp
The Moov hotel is a great bargain, in a great location in Porto. I was a little worried before arriving, with the price so low, but it's just a good bargain hotel that is new and kept up nicely. Definitely more than you would expect from a 2-star hotel. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed Porto. We did not try the hotel breakfast as the price was too high (7€) compared to the many other options just outside the door. The service was excellent. Everyone at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. We had to ask for extra pillows and blankets, as only one soft pillow comes on each bed, and the blanket is thin as well. The only issue I had with this hotel was the overly-scented room. When we walked in our room (room 315) we were greeted by a very strong air-freshener smell. It was so strong that I had to open the window and let the room air out. We decided to put the Do not Disturb sign on the door each day in case the housekeeping would spray any more air freshener in the room, it was just too much. After that smell had finally disappeared somewhat, it had more of a plastic/newly remodeled smell which is what I guess they were trying to cover up with the freshener. Either way, it made me have to keep the window open almost the entire time we were in the room. The bathroom is probably the nicest aspect of the room. Good water pressure, and it was very clean. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Yelp
I was only in town for one nite, but I'd never stay anywhere else in Porto. It's an awesome value, close to everything, with remarkably friendly & helpful staff. I even got the Casablanca room! The shower facilities were excellent too. CR

Yelp
All you need in Porto downtown for 50 bucks per night!!!! I am a fan of this hotel! The staff is very friendly and helpful and well prepare: they speak several languages. The hotel is well located: close to all the main attractions. Definitely it is not a luxurious hotel, but it has all you need: clean rooms, a comfortable big bed, parking (although it is very narrow; it took me some time to park there a Citroen C5). Of course, do not expect many extras in the room: just shampoo and towels. I think they could improve a couple of things: the pillows (they are really flat) and the towels (they are small). But besides these two things, I was very happy with me stay. The breakfast costs 5€ and is very basic: bread, cereals, some bakery, coffee, yogurt and fruit. Not the best in the world, but I don't need more. Definitely a good experience overall!!!
