This is a family run hotel, and the care and kindness is top notch! I cannot recommend Hotel Morlacchi enough! I came in super tired from traveling, and Michele helped me lug my broken and heavy suitcase to my room.|When I say "helped" I mean he did it for me. To me, that is above and beyond, since when I travel, I have the philosophy of "I pack it, I carry it." |The hotel is charming, and very clean. I slept like a baby.|At breakfast Michele and Dad brought fresh squeezed juice, fresh pastries, and fresh coffee (cappuchino, caffe latte, anyone?) to the tables.|Finally, Mom, Dad, and Michele all helped me with my suitcase, in such a friendly manner and called a cab for me when it was time to go. They went out of their way for me, and made it seem like no big deal. Absolutely recommend them! Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality!

I stayed three nights in a single room at the hotel. The room was fairly basic but super clean and comfortable. My room was pretty quiet and I slept well. There was a TV in the room which had a couple of channels in English. (streaming) .The breakfast was good. The older guy working there was kind and attentive. The younger guy, also very friendly, spoke English very well. The location was great--walkable to all of the sights in Perugia. I would likely stay here again if in town.

We stayed here several nights in March while visiting our daughter who was studying in Perugia for the semester. The family that owns the hotel were very helpful while we were planning our trip, and also while we were there. We enjoyed speaking with Michele during breakfast. The location is fantastic, and we can't wait to stay again, hopefully soon.

Charming hotel literally 2 minutes from the main square. Incredible staff...made room for our car and gave us a pass to enter the city. Michele--son of the owners--spent a year in the states and speaks perfect English. Rooms are small but well decorated. Would definitely stay there again! Great value, great staff and great location. Modest but lots of charming touches.

The hotel is full of character and only 2 mins walk from Piazza IV Novembre. Michele is a fantastic host, he’s full of fun and extremely welcoming. He certainly is the heart and soul of Hotel Morlacchi. He was very informative and spent a lot of time with us describing Perugia, it’s main sites of interest and advising us of the best places to eat. We had 3 rooms between 3 of us, each one was very clean and had everything we needed. We were very happy. I can’t recommend it highly enough to anyone that wants to stay in a warm and friendly hotel with a very personal touch. I am looking forward to my next visit already!

Had such a great stay here! I loved the room, very cosy and authentic. The family that runs the hotel is lovely, and I got some great recommendations for dinner and activities. The bed was super comfortable, the shower got hot immediately. Breakfast is simple but good. Location could not be better. If I’m ever back in Perugia I’ll stay here again!

A very fine property- 300 years aged.|Michele is the host.|Because it’s an old house, there is no lift ( elevator ). Michele will take your luggage to/from your room.|Breakfast is spartan: a roll; a croissant;|Yogurt; juice & coffee. This was perfectly adequate for me, as i am not a big eater in the morning. I just mention it so expectations are realistic.|Because Perugia is a medieval city,|expect church bells at all hours. They get real serious every morning at 0745,|so you’ve been forewarned: you won’t sleep in 😊.|The metro stop is an easy, 10-12 minute walk from the hotel. The 3rd stop is the|train station, and the 6th & last stop is|the bus station. There’s no reason for a|taxi.

This is a welcoming, traditional, family run hotel in the heart of the old centre. ||Friendly staff helped get the heating on, offered advice on where to go and helped us park the car. Freshly baked bread for breakfast and lovely crisp white sheets.

Yelp
Such a lovely place, managed by a very worm and friendly family, welcoming and professionals at the same time. The hotel it's located in Piazza Morlacchi, only a couple of minutes walking distance from the main square,Piazza 4 Novembre. We spent only three days in this wonderful city, and the Morlacchi Stuff suggested us all the main things to see in town, go visit the Rocca Paolina it's an underground area that takes you immediately back to the medieval time. Thanks again for my lovely stay and the great Italian breakfast that you served every morning. Ana&Rob
