Hotel-Motel Belle Plage

First, I do want to mention that the service we got, was impeccable. We needed to leave during our reservation, and honestly, the manager was so understanding, such a gentleman. We were not charged the penalty to leave early, and everyone was very helpful, so as for the service, impeccable! If you rent a room in the East wing, be aware of the fact that there is not AC, and that unfortunately, the walls are paper thin. I have not tried the restaurant, apparently the food is very good. So just keep in mind, if you are a light sleeper or if you cannot go without AC, don't rent in the East wing. I do not now if the rest of the property or the other rooms that have been renovated, do have AC or are more sound proofed, but our room was not and at night, it gets warm. Again, thank you to the management and the friendly staff for accommodating our early departure, without a penalty.

The room smelled old and my allergies were making a party in my lungs and nose 😅 but after a Claritin I could enjoy and my stay was perfect. Good view of the river and we had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel. For the restaurant you must make a reservation. It was so so good, I had the best salmon in my life. The waitresses were so friendly and nice. All the staff were super helpful and friendly 😍

Clean, exactly what we needed for a family of 4. We had a great meal at the restaurant. Alex and Gabriel were our waiters, and they were great. We heard there was a romanian guy working in the kitchen. We want to salute him and wish him all the best.

I have stayed at the motel side several times, it is my overnight stop from a long day of driving, while heading to the tip of the peninsula. I have never had an issue and my stays have been what I needed and I was very comfortable. This year, my room was very large, clean, comfortable and updated. Lovely

Great value hotel. We stayed in the out building across the road. Clean rooms and great value for what you pay. No air conditioning but it wasn’t needed so no complaints there. Room was clean and had been renovated in the last few years.

Very large room. Clean and Quiet. Friendly and helpful service at Front Desk both at late checkin and checkout. Fair value proposition.

Very basic. Good value, but that's it. The rooms are dated, but the service was great. Food was surprisingly good, but alcohol was outrageously expensive.

Reception staff very helpful and friendly. View fabulous if you don't look towards ferry port. Room clean but very dated, no AC and a fan bit only one socket to plug it in. Obviously used by travel agents booking clients onto the ferry, but wouldn't be my first choice for next time. Dinner in the restaurant was lovely, if a bit pricey, and again staff were great.

We stayed here on our last leg of our trip. The room was a little run down and dark. Weak lighting didn't help. The room was large though. We were in the distant building. The main building has the dining room and a view of the beach. Well situated just a short distance to the fairy. Fair price. Enjoy

Room was large & decently furnished. There was a river view. This is a pretty motel.

The motel is within half a kilometre from where the ferry docks. Our room is large and somewhat primitive - a stand fan for air conditioning, no fridge and much in need of decoration. Nevertheless all the very basics were there. The staff were friendly, given the number of people that they were dealing with. The restaurant has a beautiful view over the St Lawrence. The view is particularly spectacular at sunset. The menu is quite comprehensive. We shared the chowder which was excellent and the Matane shrimp salad which was plentiful and outstanding. These two together with a beer cost USD60 excluding tip. The service was efficient, intelligent and very polite. (There isn't much of a beach!)
