The Good:
Location is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the bed was very comfortable.
The normal bad:
The rooms are small and cramped.
The REALLY bad:
On the day of our checkout out the housekeeping staff opened the door twice within five minutes, WITHOUT KNOCKING, once while I was completely unclothed, and while there was a “do not disturb” sign on the door. This is utterly unacceptable staff behaviour and is, quite frankly, shocking.
I have significant experience in hotels, my family runs them, and I was a front desk associate for years. I’m appalled. I understand mistakes happen, but the same one from two different staff members within five minutes is a training issue. When we brought it to the front desk, she offered no compensation except “I will let them know,” as if this were a minor issue that happens all the time.
I would not stay here again.
