Hotel Motel One Berlin-Spittelmarkt

Clean and warm room, comfortable to stay in. There was enough space to open a suitcase, though there is no kettle in the room. The bed felt comfortable and we slept well. The shower pressure was good and hot water came out quickly. The hotel is a bit far from the station but still within walking distance. It was quiet at night despite a main road nearby. The location was convenient for visiting the Christmas markets, and there is a Lidl supermarket close to the hotel. Check-in was smooth and the staff spoke English well.

super cozy to step into the lobby where there is a large bar and many opportunities to work out so you can sit by yourself. room is super nice with a good bed a few different pillows. receptionist was hard to understand. definitely a visit host

Great location in a centralized location for most areas of Berlin. Motel Ones are great, friendly staff, nice cocktail bar downstairs, good accommodations. Rooms are very small, but perfect for those just using the hotel as a home base while exploring the city.

Was ok. Room was a little small. Loved having a king size bed but could have used a second chair in the room as we were two people and could have used face cloths. Male Housekeeper walked in unannounced, was uncomfortable. Main floor staff not too friendly. Beautiful decor on main lobby. About a 3.5 rating

This hotel exceeded my expectations. While the rooms are modest and compact, the service and location provides outstanding value for money. It has a really nice view of the city, breakfast is healthy, staff are friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed my stay here and the design of the hotel is also eclectic and modern. Excellent bar as well. Close to all amenities and local transportation is very accessible to all major attractions.

Beautiful rooms, exquisite service, friendly room service, clean and immaculate rooms. Just a few steps from the railway service and at the heart of Berlin. I enjoyed every inch of my three-day stay and will highly recommend. Bons: the blue sweets at the reception.

The Good: Location is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the bed was very comfortable. The normal bad: The rooms are small and cramped. The REALLY bad: On the day of our checkout out the housekeeping staff opened the door twice within five minutes, WITHOUT KNOCKING, once while I was completely unclothed, and while there was a “do not disturb” sign on the door. This is utterly unacceptable staff behaviour and is, quite frankly, shocking. I have significant experience in hotels, my family runs them, and I was a front desk associate for years. I’m appalled. I understand mistakes happen, but the same one from two different staff members within five minutes is a training issue. When we brought it to the front desk, she offered no compensation except “I will let them know,” as if this were a minor issue that happens all the time. I would not stay here again.

Absolutely perfect location close to museum island. Easily accessible via the metro system and by foot from the main station (In my opinion) Room was compact and comfortable, great bed with a fantastic view of the TV tower (I was room 7-18) Bathroom was perfect with a fantastic shower. Would absolutely stay here again. Thanks team 🙂

Great location, close to metro/underground transport - also a taxi pick-up outside front entrance. Its beautiful inside, great huge lobby and large bar area, and a park within 1 minute walk for dogs. Dog friendly hotel and super comfortable beds!! We enjoyed this location and would stay here again and again.

Great hotel/motel right in the middle of downtown Berlin

We stayed here for a week with our two dogs. All of the people working the front desk were so nice it made me suspicious. Seriously though, everything we asked for was met with above and beyond service. The lobby/bar is very stylish and comfortable. They have a full bar open 24/7 which was very convenient but quite overpriced, as you'd expect in a hotel. The location if fantastic, 1 minute to the subway, 15 minute walk to Alexander Platz and 15 minute walk in any direction to restaurants and grocery stores. The hotel is on the corner of two busy streets but with the window closed we couldn't hear a thing. It is also very near a small park with a playground if you have dogs or kids.. Our room was quite large, plenty of space for two people and two dogs, with a nice TV and comfortable bathroom. The beds were a little hard for me but that's just personal preference. The only downside was that they didn't have a refrigerator in the room. For the price we couldn't really expect one, it just would have been nice. This is not a luxury hotel but the classy lobby makes it feel fancy. And for the price, we felt like we got a great deal.

The hotel is within walking distance to main attractions. very clean and modern. front desk staff were friendly but quite slow. The cleaning lady was quite rude. I checked out 10 mins before 12. Since 11am, the cleaning lady had entered the room twice to check whether I had left while she could have just knocked. One point down for that.

Motel One is quite different from other hotels. It is quite basic. It has a very stylish lobby and the entire hotel staff was dressed in corporate colors. Corporate color is a very fresh turquoise. The best about Motel One is probably the price-quality ratio.

New and modern Hotel. Have a nice bar where you can observs a lot of people who are running around. Price is also okay for Berlin.
