Hotel Motel One Hamburg Am Michel

1. The location is excellent. About a 15-minute walk from the river. 2. The room is very new, but the lingering smell from the renovations was quite strong, causing me to have allergic reactions the next morning. 3. The breakfast was not very varied. The boiled eggs had chicken droppings and feathers on them, and some were cracked. Does this mean they contained chicken droppings? 4,If you have allergies, I wouldn't recommend staying here. If you have children, please do not stay here， the lingering smell from the renovations is not good for them.

I am currently staying here near by the airport. I have been charged with booking 1400 euros for 7 days without breakfast. And on their website the price is much lower. The rooms are okay, medium sized, location is the worst to get to around you need to get on the bus for everything around you.

There is underground parking but it gets full...the hotel has a nice breakfast & lounge area...on our visut...the one lift was not working, our rooms were not cleaned as well for the 2 days...I asked the cleaners & they told me its not there place to complain...the wifi was quite bad in the rooms, the wifi is ok at lounge area...

The worst hotel experience in my life.|In todays life the Internet connectivity is number one priority keep clients happy. |In this hotel you have internet everywhere but not in the rooms. |There is no telephone in the room. I had to go downstairs and talk to reception, while could make a simple phone call. The ladies at reception also don’t understand the issue and tell that they have to restart the service. However the WiFi signal is being lost once you enter the room and close the door. |The construction behind the window is another bad side of the stay. No water in the bottle, no kettle or coffee machine. But they give the hot water at the bar. You can take it to the room. |Will never ever stay in this chain in any country even for free of charge.

10 euro for a glass wine get to real !!!! And can't put it on your room.. for sure a way to reduce the amount of people around the bar

The rooms are getting old. Care must be taken. In this case the price is really high. Therefore Motel One is nowhere near their starting point.

I often stay here for business trips. Hotel is basic but nice. The rooms are small, but the beds are comfortable. The bar is nice, but it doesn't serve much in the way of food if you arrive hungry. Just toasted sandwiches. There is a lovely Japanese restaurant right across the road, and a Thai restaurant too. I only ate at the Japanese but both are a 2 min walk from hotel.

Great hotel in an excellent location. Bed was very comfortable with good facilities. Wonderful helpful and friendly staff. Excellent breakfast starts at 6am ideal for guests travelling to the airport. Taxi fare to the airport was 32 euros or take the U and then S bahn. Good location a few minutes to the U and Sbahn station. The Dom Fair held 4 times a year is only few minutes walk away near the U and Sbahn station at St Pauli. I like Motel One Michel, therefore, i thoroughly recommend future guests staying there. I will be back very soon.
