Motel One Vienna makes a very strong first impression. As soon as you enter the hotel, the lobby looks modern, stylish, and welcoming. The bar on the left, reception on the right, and the central lift area give the space a cozy yet luxurious feel. Downstairs, the design is really well done and creates high expectations.
However, the experience changes once you go upstairs. When you exit the lift and walk through the corridors, the atmosphere feels completely different. The corridors feel old and tired, completely different from the ground floor.
The room is small, outdated, and extremely basic, with no amenities such as a safe or fridge. While it may be acceptable for a very short stay, the contrast between the lobby and the rooms is disappointing.
The good thing about this hotel is location and view from the room
