Hotel Motel One Zürich

My wife and I stayed her for 5 nights. Our room was ready early which was great after a long flight from the US. Hotel very clean, bed very comfortable and clean. |Breakfast was very nice. Staff friendly and helpful. Felt safe the entire time. |Easy access to the tram and very walkable around town. |Enjoyed the City and Country||Would have no problem returning.

Look around before staying here.....there is NO value for money. After an 11 hour flight we couldn't check in early. The chap at reception said we could leave our suitcases at reception and wait in the lounge area. Eventually we could move to our room. The room was clean and neat......and that's it. The aircon control unit is from the 80's and the system is totally ineffective. You don't get a fridge or a kettle. There is place to hang your clothes but NO coat hooks, so wet jackets we hung on the back of the chairs. You get "complimentary" bottle of water.....WOW, a single 500ml bottle of water for 2 people for 4 nights. Next morning we took a look at the CHF19.90 P/P breakfast and nearly fell over. Landed up taking a 10 min walk to CoOp and got stuff there. There is also a McDonald's a short walk away. Bar is also expensive.

Central location. Big building with long alleyways. Main train station offices lake shopping street old city all at walking distance. The check in was quick. The staff is well trained and courteous. Rooms are basic but cozy. Lounge is so beautiful. Breakfast was wholesome. Just a kettle missing in the room. Great value. You will definitely stay again as we did.

Very attentive reception staff. Fairly good location, 15 min walking distance to lake. Basic but fresh breakfast. Overwhelmed staff on New Year breakfast. Small rooms but nice. A kettle and a mini fridge would add value.

For a 3-star hotel, Motel One offers great perks. Downtown location. You can reach everything by walking or tram. Hotel facilities including rooms are spacious, clean and new. There is a great lounge area to relax. And there is a bar which offers snacks and drinks. However there is no restaurant; but there are many restaurants in walking distance anyway. You wont starve. A great place and great value for the money.

Had a wonderful stay with my daughters, yet there were no kettles in the rooms or a coffee machine, very sad. Yet the reception was lovely, Meriem helped us check out some nice spots in zurich and was so sweet! Definitely would recommend getting tips from her! Anastasia at the bar is adorable and hilarious, shes very fast. The service is definitely the best part of this hotel!!🤩🤩🥰

Good location and friendly staff. However, there is no kettle in the room. There is no refrigerator. There is no desk. The breakfasts are very average and do not offer anything warm to eat. Next time I will choose a different hotel in Zurich.

Been a fan of Motel One for over 10 years now and see it as our go to option when booking a city break in Europe.||Zurich’s version didnt let us down- room was clean and as expected. It was even ready early which was a massive bonus after an early start. Staff were friendly and helpful and the ambience in the bar was so good we almost over did it whilst having a few evening drinks.||Locationally, the hotel isnt exactly central however we walked both to/from the Hauptbanhof as well as many of the main attractions during our stay. Map would suggest its a 15-20 min walk from train station however we did it in less and in any event there are multiple different modes of public transport located nearby.
