Hotel Motel One Zürich

Clearly a chain - although generic, it was very clean and comfortable enough for a two night stay. The location is great - not loud and still central. The standard rooms are mega small but it didn’t bother us, as we didn’t spend much time inside. Overall, not bad at all! The ventilation in the bathroom wasn’t great and the door was heavy and would shut down, so it was impossible to keep it open unless propped with something. Carpeted floors are never my favorite.

location is great and the rooms are fantastic, the ac was such a nice surprise. the beds are comfortable. the breakfast isn’t that great, very limited options and the wifi sucks. but still a great hotel and i would stay here again in the future.

Would have been five but they didn't explain the blinds on the windows and where to close them, we only worked it out at 530am, and the said window needs a clean. Rest of the room was clean, larger than normal for one motel. We didn't use the bar or breakfast. Recommended

The room was very clean, and I really enjoyed the breakfast. However, the room did not have a mini fridge or slippers, which would have been convenient. Also, the way to get to the room was a bit unusual. Overall, though, it was a good stay.

First time to stay here despite many trips to Zurich. I’ve been missing out! The price/value is excellent. The rooms are small but big enough. Everything was spotless, felt like new and the facilities and staff were great. Congratulations!

Part of a big chain of hotels, it is quite a generic place, with no room amenities, but that is why probably it's on the lower part of the price scale. The rooms are clean, the staff could be nicer. It is a 15 minute walk from the old town, also well connected by public transport.

Disappointing experience overall. The hotel has a great location and nice-looking common areas, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The room was spacious but not very clean, and I was surprised to be asked at check-in if I wanted room cleaning—as if it were an extra service rather than standard. The service was the most disappointing part. The staff was consistently rude and unhelpful, making me feel more like a burden than a guest. I paid in advance, made no extra requests, and yet was treated with a surprisingly dismissive attitude throughout my stay. Breakfast was very limited, offering only a basic European selection (bread, cheese, ham, and fruit). No hot dishes or international options. Definitely not worth the price. I won’t be returning.

Spacious rooms, comfortable bed. The bathroom is small but works. No coffee machine, no iron or ironing board - so the basic stuff are lacking. The breakfast is decent although a toaster would be a good addition as we Indians aren't used to having cold breads.
