Truly a gem for food lovers! The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for family dining or a quick snack. The highlight of my visit was their fantastic Maska Bun (Maska Bread) — soft, fresh, and perfectly buttery! It melts in the mouth and pairs wonderfully with hot chai. The taste and texture are simply unmatched, and you can feel the quality in every bite. The service is quick, the staff is polite, and the hygiene is well maintained. Overall, a delightful experience — especially for anyone who loves authentic, old-style café vibes.

Moti Mahal in Ahmedabad is more than just a restaurant; it is a legendary institution that has been a cornerstone of the city’s culinary scene for over a century. It is on a very convenient location near the Kalupur Railway Station Despite its fame, the restaurant remains unpretentious. Whether you are dining in the AC hall or the traditional non-AC section, the atmosphere is warm, bustling, and deeply rooted in the culture of the old city.

Located in the heart of Ahmedabad, right next to the bustling railway station, Moti Mahal offers an old-city ambiance that’s charming and full of character. The restaurant is divided into two sections: an AC room upstairs that’s more family-friendly, and a non-AC area downstairs. The seating is well-organized, and the staff, while polite, gave off a very average vibe, nothing too exceptional. I ordered the butter chicken, expecting a classic, flavorful dish, but unfortunately, it turned out to be quite bland and lacking the spices one would expect. Additionally, it was quite oily, which was disappointing. The naan was decent, but overall, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. In summary, Moti Mahal has a great location and ambiance, but the food could use a bit more flavor and refinement.

I saw something unique that I haven't seen in hotel they has a small candle container like substance to keep your food warm kn your table during this winter time that is what I liked but the taste was ok ok

Don't know why the hype because food was low quality and very less quantity for the amount they charge. The prices are on Mumbai level but atmosphere and sevice of the restaurant is not even close to the mark. Ordered a biriyani and fried rice. Everything tasted just mediocre. The only catch is it's at walkable distance from the railway station. Don't know why so high rating in Google.

It is best for breakfast or lunch. I recently visited Ahmedabad and had lunch there. It was a very good experience and the price was also affordable. I tried butter chicken and dal fry-rice there. It was very tasty and value for money. Must recommend.

Too costly, food was not tasty, In chicken afghani, I was searching chicken pieces, In bheja fry there's lots of onions and tomatoes. Green chutney was only green no taste. Order taking personal was indiscipline. It is better to have dinner on road side Tawa fry center. Never visit again.
