We booked this hotel for a wedding that we attended in Cali. It was a safe location and in a very nice area of the city. There are lots of restaurants around, aside from the restaurant at the hotel. Breakfast was included and it was delicious and a la carte — but yet all you can eat (order). The rooms were clean and were large. I called to change my room previous to arrival and they accommodated. I was looking for a king size bed, but only had a queen. Bed was not super comfortable. Service was excellent, location was excellent.

The hotel is well located but shows signs of age and would benefit from an urgent renovation. The AC in my room stopped working several times, and there was an unpleasant sewer smell coming from the bathroom. Overall maintenance and cleaning standards could be improved, as the room didn’t feel properly serviced. Breakfast was acceptable, but amenities were limited — few towels, pillows, and toiletries of modest quality. Unfortunately, the experience did not meet the Movich standard I’ve come to know from Barranquilla and Cartagena.

Stayed here during COP16. The hotel is located in a convenient location, so that was quite good. The staff at the hotel barely speak any English, which is fine, but it's a bit difficult to communicate with them. The food at the restaurant is pretty basic and the service is super super slow. Wait times for over 30 minutes for food to come which wasn't great given we had such a tight schedule for COP. They also jacked up the prices since it was COP. But that was expected.

Wonderful hotel located in one of the best neighborhoods in Cali. Close to some of the best restaurants and nightlife in town. The hotel has a quaint quality about it with beautiful wooden floors. The vest part is the breakfast.. it probably the best I've ever had in a hotel.

Movich Casa del Alferez is a hidden gem! The ambiance is a perfect blend of charm and modern comfort. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the views from the terrace are breathtaking. Plus, the restaurant offers delicious local cuisine that’s not to be missed. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway! Highly recommend!

The hotel itself is a 5, attractive, charming with nicely created rooms and suites. The small street it sits on is not noisy and the building has good insulation assuring a good night's sleep. We would not hesitate to stay here again. ||But the restaurant in the hotel is a bit disappointing. Meeting the standards of the hotel's aesthetic appeal; the restaurant needs better management. It is not well organized.||We did not explore eating in nearby restaurants; but could be an option for those seeking a more sophisticated level of service

Well, this is a business and leisure hotel where you can prepare yourself for business meetings at the north of the city, nearby are places where you can chill after business hours, I always enjoy my stay here.
