Good place, but they don't changer bed sheets daily unless requested. Has a small locker with code. Nice pajama for the night(pants a little short but maybe it’s on purpose). Free toothbrush/toothpaste, cotton buds, and comb. Easy check out by dropping the pass card at the entrance and just leave. Staff very friendly

We got the Japanese style room, which is nice and spacious. Big enough to put our luggage. Hotel is also very close to Omiya station, so we could go all over Kyoto easily. We used the luggage forwarding system here, and staff was so polite and helpful through tagging our bags to helping to forward our luggage. Highly recommended 👍

We stayed at Hotel M for three nights in April 2025. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by a friendly staff member who made the check-in process quick and seamless. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained.||Our particular room lacked natural light, as the window was located behind the bathroom sink mirror. While this might sound like a drawback, the room's quiet and dark environment actually contributed to an excellent night's sleep.||Two often-overlooked highlights worth mentioning: the shower had excellent water pressure, and the hotel-provided pajamas were both comfortable and charming.||We chose this hotel primarily for its convenient location near Shijo-Omiya Station and easy access to the Hankyu and Randen train lines. The surrounding neighborhood offers a wide range of dining options, along with a Family Mart and a 7-Eleven — perfect for picking up travel essentials or a late-night snack.

We stayed here back in March this year, the hotel is clean and in a good location with great proximity to the subway. Our room was however very small. Staff were really welcoming and friendly.

Very small rooms, barely enough room for our luggage - slightly bigger than the rooms in APA hotel we stayed in Tokyo. Apparently the hotel has some issues with insulation as the carpet near the window was getting very wet during rainy days. We actually had to change the rooms, because it was smelling badly. The staff was very nice and accommodating and switched us to different room without any issues (they held on to our luggage until afternoon when the room was ready). The rooms are decently equipped, A/C working fine, we had everything we needed. We appreciated the laundry room where we could was and dry our clothes (if you don't have coins, they can exchange the bills for you at the reception). The resting area room on the first floor was also nice, where we could sit down after a long day of walking, charge our phones, etc

If you are looking for a cheap place to stay for one or two days with not much comfort here you go. But I would def spend more money next time on a better place to stay, here is why: - somehow we slept really bad (worst sleep and hotel experience on our trip) - without the aircondition it always smells bad, like it is too humid and kinda moldy. - there is mold on the rubber parts of the bathroom door - the ventilation in the bathroom is too weak. - not as clean as it should be - the room is super small. It is okay if you just have a big backpack, but with a suitcase it is just a mess. - the window is blurred and there is not much light. The wallpaper makes the room look small and like a prison. Lights are also not really cozy. - washing your clothes here will cost around 1200 yen for washing + drying (400yen washing + 800 yen to get your clothes dry (30 min = 200 yen) - just 3 dryers for the whole hotel. If it takes 2 hours to dry clothes you can imagine the trafficjam at the machines. Not relaxing, more stressful. Tip if you stay here and use the dryer: Remove all the dust before using it, nearly nobody does. ***Other comments also mentioned the moldy smell in their room and the expensive dryers Pisitive: + Service people are nice + Good location to reach many destinations via bus or train ***I think the hotel has different kind of rooms. Maybe the "higher class" ones are better. But for out room we would not come back or recommend friends to book it.

This best thing about this hotel is its location, located conveniently near the train and bus stations with 7-11s and Marts less than 50m away! The rooms however, extremely small and not well thought out, no location to store bags (under the bed not an option) therefore no moving space. The internet did not work in our room. But for a good location and a bed to sleep in this hotel does the trick! Handy to have the lounge area downstairs with some tables and chairs to escape your shoebox! Staff always extremely helpful - you cannot fault the staff.

Location was extremely great, a few minutes from train stations, with many shops, convenience stores around. Staff was friendly and could speak English very well. Room was basic but smaller than expected, even we had stayed so many hotels in Japan before. There was a window in my room but no actual view.
