I’ve stayed at Hotel Mulberry many times over my year and a half backpacking and volunteering in Nepal. It has truly become my home base in Kathmandu. Every stay has been consistently wonderful. ||What really makes Hotel Mulberry special is the people! The staff are not only professional and attentive, but also genuinely warm and caring. On my most recent visit, I experienced some very difficult personal circumstances. I had to extend my Neapal stay as the father of my host family in Nagarkot was very ill and eventually passed. The kindness of the staff, especially the manager Niraj, left a lasting impression. They checked in on me by WhatsApp throughout the month. When my host father finally passed and I had to quickly return to Kathmandu. They immediately made sure I was comfortable, and offered a level of compassion that went far beyond what I expected. It was exactly what I needed at the time, and I’ll never forget their support.||Another thing I love about this hotel is the atmosphere. You can feel the excitement of travelers preparing for their treks, and at the same time, it’s easy to find a quiet corner to yourself. I’ve even met a few inspiring people by the poolside bar, including travelers on their way to summit Everest!||I can honestly say that Hotel Mulberry will always be my first choice when I return to Kathmandu. The rooms are spotless, the beds are very comfortable, and there’s a calmness that feels like such a relief after being in the middle of busy Thamel. The rooftop pool is stunning. It is a perfect spot to relax before or after trekking and I also appreciated their well-equipped workout room when I wanted to stay active. Above all, it’s a place where you’re made to feel truly welcome.

The hotel Mulberry is the ideal place to stay if you are going to Kathmandu. It is a very luxurious hotel with great rooms and a roof top infinity pool. The food in the hotel is exceptional and reasonably priced. The location is perfect in the heart of Thamel and a couple of minutes walk to the Garden of Dreams. However the best bit about the hotel is the high quality staff in all areas from reception to housekeeing and the bar and restaurant staff. They are super kind and helpful. A particular mention to Sujina and Smarika who went out of their way to help me at times and rank as the best hospitality staff i have encountered. I will definately come back and would not dream of staying anywhere else in Kathmandu

Had a fantastic stay here! My room was amazing, very spacious and spotlessly clean. All the staff I encountered were lovely and helpful. The breakfast buffet was nice but the room service food was exceptional and incredibly good value. I had booked this hotel especially for the pool and gym and these are both areas that could be improved. The pool is great and has an amazing view but it's next a bar area that serves food and drinks which does mean it's not very relaxing. There was pop / rap music being played constantly both times I used the pool even when there weren't many people. The gym is basic and the equipment quite old but it was empty both times I used it and it has an amazing view. The location of the hotel is perfect, despite it being in the busy Thamel area it was very quiet. I enjoyed my stay so much I rebooked for the end of my trip and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a pre/post trek treat.

This is the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Warm and kind hospitality to the highest degree, clean and comfortable rooms, and an incredible rooftop view. The buffet breakfast is next-level too. ||Diya, the rooftop bartender, has the best hospitality I've ever seen, and I've seen plenty. Truly an asset for the business. From recommendations on where to visit and what to drink (including her own custom mocktail - delicious) great conversation and attentive service, it was like hanging out with a friend - because she is one. She even got me a cake on my last day - where does that happen? Just incredible. ||I'll be back. Thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Mulberry! All the staff were prompt, respectful, helpful, and very attentive. Delicious food every time we ate. Great, central location in Thamel. Amazing service, rooms, pool, and hospitality! 10/10.

Excellent hotel. We stayed here 3 times over the course of a 3 week trip and each time, the front desk staff was wonderful, attentive, helpful and so well mannered. The rooms were excellent---very clean, very comfortable bed, spacious, very nice shower, etc. Breakfast was always plentiful and tasty. Dinner (only one night) was excellent with excellent service. I will say that the massage at the SPA with Rena (spelling?) was world class excellent, I wish I had signed up for two massage services with her, it was one of the best massages I have ever had.

"An Oasis in Kathmandu – Highly Recommended!" ||||We had an amazing four-day stay at Hotel Mulberry with my wife and her mom. Its location is unbeatable, surrounded by local shops, restaurants, bars, and wellness options like yoga and sound healing classes. ||||The staff went above and beyond, upgrading us to an Executive room with a charming balcony where we could enjoy fresh air and birdsong. The room was spotless and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel also offers a spa, gym, and a stunning infinity pool, making relaxation effortless. Airport pick-up and drop-off is also complimentary.||||Most of all, the staff’s kindness and hospitality made this experience truly special. Without a doubt, we’ll be back!

The breakfast service was poor, no cutlery, cups and when we ask the waitress to set a table we were basically ignored. There were staff standing around chatting despite the obvious need to get organised. There was 2 hours more until breakfast finished, it was the same on two days, one day was ok.The omelette chef was very efficient and helpful.Reception staff were ok and the bed was very comfy.
