Hotel Münchner Hof

We stopped at this hotel/restaurant today for lunch during our youth vocational pilgrimage with a group of 54. From start to finish, the experience was wonderful. The staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious—everyone left satisfied! The restaurant itself was beautiful and spotless, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend for groups or anyone looking for a great meal and excellent service.

Flew in from Texas specifically to see the pilgrimage churches and Christmas market in Altotting. Two nights at Munchner Hoff right on the square. Very nice room, and friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast in the restaurant was very good. Will be back.

We stayed over the weekend the the room was pretty nice and good refurbished a while ago. Also the bathroom was good. The reception team was friendly. The restaurant was actually refurbished and breakfast was served in a pub below the hotel. The breakfast was only 2 out of 5 stars. Quality Ok, but plates und some stuff were already missing at 9am. |But we also had a few drinks before the night before and for a club/cafe it is a good place to stay.

Hotel met and exceeded our expectations for a quiet two day stay prior to heading off to Munich to meet up with a group touring Christmas Markets. An easy walk from the train station and situated on the main plaza. They easily accommodated our request for early check in and the staff was friendly and helpful. Had a nice corner room with a view of the Basilica as well as a side view of the main plaza. Loved the mix of modern with the feel of old with the wooden beams. Plenty of space. Great bathroom AND the floors were heated which in winter makes all the difference. Shower had consistent pressure and plenty of hot water. Room had a coffee (pods) maker and came with decaf coffee pods which are unusual and a welcomed treat. While we did not eat in their restaurant, it was consistently filled with locals, always a good sign. Breakfast was normal fare though they had the best pretzels of any hotel we stayed in on this vacation. We will definitely stay here again should we find ourselves in the area. Of all the Christmas Markets we visited, this one was one of our favorites. The town is charming and loved the quietness that surrounds it.

My family recently stayed at this hotel; we booked a total of 7 rooms. The reservation was a bit complicated because of different people coming at different times and not being 100% who was coming when and staying how long, etc. The staff was super flexible and accommodating throughout. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous! It's definitely worth it to pay the few extra euros for a view of the Kapellplatz. The food and restaurant staff are also really wonderful! This is a world class hotel, for sure.

This was the second time I have stayed there in two years and had a beautiful room at the rear. The rooms are modern, large and well fitted and spotlessly clean.|The staff are extremely helpful and the bar manager, Mark was very welcoming.|This hotel is right in the centre of the town and has magnificent views across the town square. Parking overnight is free and underground near the hotel. Food in the hotel, served on the front veranda under awnings is modern versions of Bavarian dishes and very tasty.|Breakfast was a little minimalistic and could be improved on but service attentive.|I can't wait to go back to this hotel, well done to the friendly and well trained staff

Wow! the rooms here are so nice...almost as nice as the super friendly staff! I recently stayed for a work trip with my family and we all loved the building and the area! when I had a small issue with the bill, they took care of it right away. The guys down at KARL Bar are definitely some of the coolest you will meet in Altoetting. The little town is so lovely and peaceful and Munchner Hof puts you right where you can access all you might need. Vielen Dank, MH staff!

I did not stay at the hotel but had a quick lunch right on the square. The staff was very accommodating to my schedule as our group was soon leaving. Schnitzel and two beers. Not cheap but you get what you pay for. Well worth it for the beauty and peacefulness.
