Room and view very good. Stunning convenient location. Breakfast a disaster. Not sure they know what fresh food is. Warm coffee, sickly sweet unidentifiable juice only available in coffee cups as no glasses. Just sliced bread and one stale type of bread roll. Meats and cheeses almost gone by 8am. Not impressed! Strong feedback given at reception on leaving hotel.

2 one night stays in August. Booking problems first visit but resolved easily. Second stay room very nice. View superb.|Sadly both stays included breakfast. Absolutely terrible. Sickly sweet juice, no glasses so served in coffee cups. Coffee from machine warm at best, the white coffee selection came out black. Just one stale bread roll and loads of sliced bread for toasting in a desperately slow old toaster! By 8pm virtually no meat and cheese left. Judging by the looks on some faces I wasn't the only unhappy client! Some people took one look and walked straight out again! Strong feedback given at the reception when signing out. Such a shame.

It took me 24 hours of travel to get to Jaca for an event at the Ciudadela. Went to the hotel, got my room key AND asked them where I could park. I was told to park at the Burnao Street Parking that that was their parking. I followed their instruction parked there on thursday. I went to get my car on sunday to go to the airport and discovered that it was gone. Apartently, noone could park there on Saturday because of a race. Hotel staff said nothing to me. From the hotel lobby, I called police and was told that it was towed and I needed to pay $300 euros to get the car. I did not expect he hotel staff to pay for it, but they did not even looked at me as I was trying to figure out what to do. When I told them that I was instructed to park there by hotel staff, the staff deflected by saying that I should not have parked there because of the race and that I should have look for the signs at the parking lot saying that. I did not even get a ride to the police station or the storage area, after walking for over an hour I was able to go and pay and then get my car. The hotel might be in a great location, but it there is a problem, specially caused by them, you are screwed. Just a heads up.

Worst stay ever!!||Upon arriving with my family we checked in, we had 2 rooms booked, there was a young behind the dark and dingy Reception desk who struggled to even look up at us, let alone talk, instantly we felt unwelcome. We found our rooms, not great either, one room was situated at the back of the hotel with a tiny window and no air con and the bathroom door didn't close properly so there was no privacy, the other room was at the front, again no air con and a tremendous amount of street noise leaving very little sleep from all parties. There were flies everywhere! The breakfast was absolutely disgraceful...the orange juice from the filthy machine was warm and watery and the dilapidated coffee machine was like dishwater! The hot chocolate had no chocolate. It was dingy, dirty and very uninviting, stale bread and cold meat was vile and covered in flies and a member of staff stood behind some blinds like a member of the mafia! Couldn't leave quick enough!! Apaling!!

This hotel is a gem of a find. Lovely hotel full of antiques and the Staff are friendly and helpful. Really nice rooms with comfortable bed, en suite facilities and a TV. Situated in the old town opposite the Fort, the surrounding area is full of interesting shops, bars and restaurants. For the price we paid I cannot think of a better value hotel. We were so impressed we intend to stay there for a couple of days next time we visit Spain. It has a wonderful restaurant onsite and gym. Also provides secure parking. Really loved the quaintness of this hotel. Nice to stay in a place with such charm.

The photos do not do this hotel justice and I wish that we had stayed here on previous visits to this very pleasant town. King Carlos stayed here many moons ago and it retains many of the features that you do not find in modern hotels. However the rooms have comfortable beds and the shower was good as were the towels. There was a wide choice of items at breakfast and though the quality was so-so what you got for five euros was beyond reproach. This hotel deserves more than it's two star classification and we would have preferred to have stayed here than at the four stay Parador that we subsequently moved onto.

In a good position but a long walk to the parking area. Had to pay out for nearby parking which was very expensive. The room was adequate but the bed very uncomfortable. No internet was available even though we were told we could get it. We didn't manage to get it sorted. We carry a plug in fridge in our car and this fused the lights when we plugged it in. The lights fused several times when we plugged anything in. They sent a guy to fix it but he couldn't do it. We had to ask for towels none were supplied with the room. All in all it was a fairly disastrous stay. We were glad we were only staying for one night.
