Hotel Murillo

My stay at this hotel was exactly what I needed. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet — perfect for relaxing after a long day. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always welcoming with a smile. Breakfast was good and varied, and the location is very convenient for getting around easily. Overall, an excellent experience. I highly recommend it and will definitely return!

Good location. Clean. Lovely rooftop with a view of the cathedral. People who work there are nice and helpful, but not overly warm. Bed was hard - my mom liked that, I did not. The tapas bar outside is loud. Ask for an interior room if you're worried about that. They were willing to move us, but we found it quieted down by the time we went to sleep each night (around 11). The shower is tiny, but this didn't bother us. Breakfast is fine, but not great - powdered eggs. I think it's a solid choice for Seville - nothing fancy, but well taken care of central location.

I have just had a very enjoyable stay 3 night stay at the Hotel Murillo with a friend. The hotel is very conveniently located right in the old town near the main sites with the Cathedral, Real Alzacar and Plaza de Espagna all within easy walking distance. The Reception area was lovely and staff on reception were welcoming and helpful. Considering it is rated 2 star I was very impressed overall. The room was a good size (4 floor) and clean and the bed was comfy . Breakfast buffet was plentiful and fresh. No noise issue at all for us, but I appreciate given the location of the bar opposite and narrow street, that it may get noisy in the summer months. Overall great value for Money and I would definitely recommend.

The location was good as it wasn't far from the Cathedral. The room was small with limited space for clothes and luggage. The shower would have been good but the shower head would not stay up which we reported on leaving. We did not have any good outlook (room 207) and next to the lift. The breakfast was adequate, could have had more/better choice. Coffee was acceptable which was a good thing. Staff in reception were good. Room and bathroom appeared clean. if a little tired. We asked for and received 2 extra pillows. We would have preferred to stay a little closer to where the Christmas illuminations were as we didn't really fin them. We didn't have a choice as we were in a large party. Be prepared to get lost a few times if you stay here.

This hotel is amazing 👏 all new - checked in by Miriam, who was so helpful. Great Value - check in time 12noon and check out 12noon - breakfast in hotel Murillo across alleyway at sister hotel - great value - pay at check in 10 euros - if you pay later 13 euros so don't forget to do it first. Rooms comfy, clean, soundproofed. Keep a map handy when out and about as located in a maze of alleyways - easy to get confused. This actually adds to it's charm - so well located within walking distance of main sights and eateries. Recommend highly

I stayed here during my solo trip, and the location is convenient to all major sightseeing places, and especially the bus station. The property is very secure for any women solo travellers, and breakfast was wonderful too. It’s a paradise for someone who is looking to stay in an affordable heritage property. I had a wonderful, clean room with a huge window overlooking the street. The windows are soundproof, and you won't feel much noise. Thank you for hosting me.

We had the best hotel experience with Murillo. Even before we got to the hotel, the staff especially Martin was welcoming us to visit the new property Hotel Murillo Reinoso. |We travelled with family and friends and fell in love with the hotel, its staff and its amenities. The rooms were clean, new decor, spacious, common areas were beautifully decorated for the Christmas season. We had breakfast at the hotel and also visited the roof top terrace which has a beautiful view of the cathedral. |The hotel is a stone throw away from center and steps away from the beautiful Murillo gardens. All the restaurants and city highlights minutes away. The hotel is tucked away in a picturesque small cobblestone street providing privacy .|We are planning a return trip and will definitely choose Hotel Murillo Reinoso.

This place was really nice. I loved the kitchenette in the room. The staff were all so kind and friendly. They held our bags for us during the day and welcomed us for coffee when we picked them up. I would stay here again.

First, I think that I would give this hotel a 3.5 star rating because it was good- but nothing special pr amazing. This hotel was cheap and central (super close to many of the main Seville attractions). The front office was really kind and helpful. There is a breakfast but it is 10€ per person so we opted to go out and discover local breakfast spots. The room was very small (we were expecting it and it wasn't a problem for us). It was very clean, which was a plus. However the bed was very uncomfortable- super hard and you could basically feel some of the bed springs. It was also very noisy!!! I woke up about 20 times throughout the night to people talking in the halls- the walls must be paper thin. There is a nice terrace bar on the top floor which was nice. Overall, our 2 night stay was okay. I would probably try a different hotel next time.

On a road trip in Portugal and Spain - found this place prior to leaving. So this place is hard to find. While beautiful, it is located in a crazy, windy, typical European alley way that Google Maps does not like. We arrived late and navigating the alley ways was tough. Finally found the place (somehow) and was greeted by a gracious understanding host who understood our dilemmas. While the staff was friendly, the rooms were small. It had a fridge and stove but we felt trapped in. No windows, no light and no working ice machines or drinks on the floor - as used to in North America. The location was good, though for those who are directionally challenged, you will get lost. The hotel is located in a never ending maze of alleys. To be fair, we arrived there while dark - but we also went to Lisbon, Cordoba, Granada, Madrid, Porto, and Sintra - which were all easy to find our hotels. After a couple nights we did eventually find our way home on foot - but no cars allowed - so if you're walking, you better pray you can navigate your way around. It's really not as easy as they make it seem on their website.

Loved the employees who work here, the hotel rooms, and the location! Our "apartment room" was very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable as well. There is a wonderful courtyard and a rooftop terrace where you can see the city. On nice days you can also buy drinks at the top. I went to the buffet breakfast as well and was very pleased. It is about a 3 minute walking distance from the cathedral/ the heart of the city. I strongly recommend this hotel!

The Hotel Murillo is located in a very convenient area. The rooms were clean and we had everything that was advertised. But, what was lacking at this hotel was the extra touches - it was as if they did the bare minimum to make this a good hotel. For example, the staff did not leave additional hand/body soap in the bathroom after cleaning, they left dirty glasses in the room, one late evening I needed a cup of hot water for some medicinal tea - and they informed me the kitchen was closed. They don't provide you with any bottles of complimentary water or snacks or candies. While none of these things would prevent me from booking here, next time I book in Seville I will look at other hotels who "go the extra mile."
