Location of hotel on a narrow street in the old town is a massive plus. It is so central to many tourist sites and fabulous restaurants. It is within walking distance to the train station and easily accessible if getting the bus in from the airport. Staff are helpful and friendly. The rooms are basic and cleaned thoroughly every day. The key card addition this year to gain access at the main door adds to the security. We have stayed here more than 7 times and don't consider anywhere else.

The location of Hotel Murillo is unbeatable; it's located in Seville Old Town among winding cobblestone streets and alleys. It's only a couple of minutes walk from many of the main sights of Seville, such as the Real Alcazar and Cathedral, as well as many shops and restaurants. The lobby is beautiful and the staff are incredibly polite, professional, and helpful. The rooms are small and simple but are well-furnished and have air conditioning and mini fridges. The entrance itself is located on a pedestrian-only narrow street, and as such, if you are going to arrive or leave by taxi you will have to walk ~50 m (the hotel staff are happy to help you arrange a taxi in advance). I had a wonderful stay here and would definitely recommend it to others!

We loved our stay at the new Hotel Murillo Reinoso! The location was unbeatable and within walking distance of everything we wanted to do in Seville and just a short walk through a beautiful park to/from the bus to the airport. The room was beautiful, functional, and spotless. The outdoor terrace was a wonderful addition and a great place to spend time in the evenings. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The neighborhood was very lively at all hours, so we were shocked at just how noise-proof the room was. As soon as we shut the window/door there was absolutely no noise-transfer, which is pretty impressive for a downtown hotel. ||We would stay again in a heartbeat and will certainly recommend it to friends.

This review is based on a one night, last minute stay, where we basically slept in the room and left the next morning, therefore we can't comment on breakfast or any other facilities. |We booked the suite at midnight because of a disappointment with an Air B&B. When we arrived there was someone there to check us in and they were really helpful. Our room for two adults and a teen was huge with a big bed and big sofa bed. It all looked brand new and was spotlessly clean. We had a huge walk in shower with loads of lovely toiletries, a mini fridge, coffee machine, safe, table and chairs. We all slept well and the aircon worked brilliantly. We could see the pool outside of our room and it was a decent size but it didn't open until 12 so we wouldn't have been able to use it as it's bang on checkout time. The receptionist when we checked out was lovely and kept all of our bags and cases so we could explore. For a last minute booking we really liked this hotel as it did everything we wanted it to last minute.

Our stay at Hotel Murillo in Seville was truly pleasant. The hotel is charmingly located in the old town, tucked away in a picturesque alley that adds to its character. The rooms were spacious and comfortable – not luxurious, but excellent value for the price. Its location is ideal, just steps away from all the main attractions and vibrant activities that Seville has to offer.

I was in Sevilla for a conference, but wanted to stay in an interesting neighborhood. Success! Hotel was fine, clean, nice rooms, friendly, air conditioning worked (essential in summer), breakfast buffet good (pay extra). Only complaint was very weak wifi. Streets too narrow for a cab so have to walk to a little plaza.

Reception area is a lovely area that sets an expectation that is not matched by the room we stayed in.|Small room which is a little dated, with inadequate storage for a stay any longer than a few days.|Shower did not function properly. The wall fitting would not hold it in place, so can only be hand held which can be a bit awkward.|The terrace bar was not open during our stay either.|The location is great for the main sights, which is its main benefit and what attracted us in the first place.|Overall, I would say adequate, but a little disappointing. Certainly not exceptional as advertised.

Our room was exactly what we needed. The space was small but comfortable, the location was fantastic, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff at the front desk were very helpful. We would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate to visit Seville again.

Yelp
First, I think that I would give this hotel a 3.5 star rating because it was good- but nothing special pr amazing. This hotel was cheap and central (super close to many of the main Seville attractions). The front office was really kind and helpful. There is a breakfast but it is 10€ per person so we opted to go out and discover local breakfast spots. The room was very small (we were expecting it and it wasn't a problem for us). It was very clean, which was a plus. However the bed was very uncomfortable- super hard and you could basically feel some of the bed springs. It was also very noisy!!! I woke up about 20 times throughout the night to people talking in the halls- the walls must be paper thin. There is a nice terrace bar on the top floor which was nice. Overall, our 2 night stay was okay. I would probably try a different hotel next time.

Yelp
On a road trip in Portugal and Spain - found this place prior to leaving. So this place is hard to find. While beautiful, it is located in a crazy, windy, typical European alley way that Google Maps does not like. We arrived late and navigating the alley ways was tough. Finally found the place (somehow) and was greeted by a gracious understanding host who understood our dilemmas. While the staff was friendly, the rooms were small. It had a fridge and stove but we felt trapped in. No windows, no light and no working ice machines or drinks on the floor - as used to in North America. The location was good, though for those who are directionally challenged, you will get lost. The hotel is located in a never ending maze of alleys. To be fair, we arrived there while dark - but we also went to Lisbon, Cordoba, Granada, Madrid, Porto, and Sintra - which were all easy to find our hotels. After a couple nights we did eventually find our way home on foot - but no cars allowed - so if you're walking, you better pray you can navigate your way around. It's really not as easy as they make it seem on their website.

Yelp
Loved the employees who work here, the hotel rooms, and the location! Our "apartment room" was very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable as well. There is a wonderful courtyard and a rooftop terrace where you can see the city. On nice days you can also buy drinks at the top. I went to the buffet breakfast as well and was very pleased. It is about a 3 minute walking distance from the cathedral/ the heart of the city. I strongly recommend this hotel!

Yelp
The Hotel Murillo is located in a very convenient area. The rooms were clean and we had everything that was advertised. But, what was lacking at this hotel was the extra touches - it was as if they did the bare minimum to make this a good hotel. For example, the staff did not leave additional hand/body soap in the bathroom after cleaning, they left dirty glasses in the room, one late evening I needed a cup of hot water for some medicinal tea - and they informed me the kitchen was closed. They don't provide you with any bottles of complimentary water or snacks or candies. While none of these things would prevent me from booking here, next time I book in Seville I will look at other hotels who "go the extra mile."
