Stayed for one night in Sevilla. The location is excellent, right in the historical centre. I received a warm welcome and was able to check in early. The little pool is nice and everything felt clean and presentable. There are some nice touches like free water/coke from the minibar in your room. The bed in the room is really big and comfortable. The walk-in shower with rainfall shower head was really nice as well. ||I have rated 3/5 because I was a bit disappointed with my room allocation. I booked this so far in advance, I feel like I paid quite a lot of money (€215 for 1 night) to be put in a really small room on the ground floor. I didn’t sleep well because of noise of people coming back to their rooms late at night - one of the main reasons I booked a more expensive room in the city was to ensure a good night’s sleep which I didn’t get. Soundproofing didn’t feel very present. When I opened my curtains during the afternoon I could see people walking past my window inside the courtyard so I felt a bit of a lack of privacy. I could see from the floor plan that this was the smallest room on the ground floor. I was offered an upgrade at reception upon checking in for a jacuzzi room but this would have been €50 extra so I didn’t think it was worth it for a short city break. The room’s floor space was very limited so I was really having to manoeuvre my way around the large bed, very little space for my suitcase. ||In addition to this - a couple of months prior to my trip I was receiving so many scam messages via booking.com for this reservation, I was close to cancellation. I understand this is not the fault of the hotel but it was a real nuisance to receive this volume of messages - it would have been nice to have more of a reassurance from Murillo Reinoso that it was fixed and to apologise for the inconvenience.

Hotel was very centrally located. However, they need to do something about their wifi. The staff was very helpful but a HUGE shout out to Martin who was so patient and kind and helped us sort out a train ticketing issue. He went above and beyond to help us.The hotel was clean. The room was a bit small for a triple but overall if the wifi is improved I would definitely stay here again !

A terrific hotel. They could not have been more kind and helpful! In an excellent location in the centre of the old town. Newly refurbished with new beds, bathrooms and freshly painted. They spoke excellent English. Great advice given for places to go for tapas in the evening. I ve recommended it to several friends since. Thank you.

Excellent hotel right in the heart of Santa Cruz. Able to step out the front door and walk up the little alleyways straight to the main attractions. Very clean room and well maintained, quality crisp bedding and towels, extremely helpful staff, and to top it off a lovely little courtyard pool to cool off in. No food option used by us on this trip so I cannot comment on them, but Seville is famous for its food offerings and there are many places nearby to use. Would not hesitate to use this hotel in future!

Hotel was in a great position in the old town. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good, with lots of choice. Rooms were clean and comfortable, the shower cubicle in the bathroom was very small and could probably do with a refurb.

Superb, great spot in the heart of Seville. Highly recommended. |The staff were friendly, the view of our room was to the street giving us a great experience. Access to the hotel is limited, yet all hotels in the old city are the same way. Great hotel for the value. Would stay again without a doubt. Highly recommended !

Google
What a good find when trying to decide where to stay for our 4 night break. Very reasonably priced; perfect location for all the sights. Hotel was spotless, had everything we needed, including air con., fridge, coffee maker and they provided a kettle. Helpful staff, including a lovely cleaner. Faultless, would 100% recommend

The hotel is quaint and has a nice rooftop lounge area where you can see the famous cathedral. Breakfast is lovely and though the hotel is in a busy neighborhood, our room was very quiet for siestas.

Yelp
First, I think that I would give this hotel a 3.5 star rating because it was good- but nothing special pr amazing. This hotel was cheap and central (super close to many of the main Seville attractions). The front office was really kind and helpful. There is a breakfast but it is 10€ per person so we opted to go out and discover local breakfast spots. The room was very small (we were expecting it and it wasn't a problem for us). It was very clean, which was a plus. However the bed was very uncomfortable- super hard and you could basically feel some of the bed springs. It was also very noisy!!! I woke up about 20 times throughout the night to people talking in the halls- the walls must be paper thin. There is a nice terrace bar on the top floor which was nice. Overall, our 2 night stay was okay. I would probably try a different hotel next time.

Yelp
On a road trip in Portugal and Spain - found this place prior to leaving. So this place is hard to find. While beautiful, it is located in a crazy, windy, typical European alley way that Google Maps does not like. We arrived late and navigating the alley ways was tough. Finally found the place (somehow) and was greeted by a gracious understanding host who understood our dilemmas. While the staff was friendly, the rooms were small. It had a fridge and stove but we felt trapped in. No windows, no light and no working ice machines or drinks on the floor - as used to in North America. The location was good, though for those who are directionally challenged, you will get lost. The hotel is located in a never ending maze of alleys. To be fair, we arrived there while dark - but we also went to Lisbon, Cordoba, Granada, Madrid, Porto, and Sintra - which were all easy to find our hotels. After a couple nights we did eventually find our way home on foot - but no cars allowed - so if you're walking, you better pray you can navigate your way around. It's really not as easy as they make it seem on their website.

Yelp
Loved the employees who work here, the hotel rooms, and the location! Our "apartment room" was very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable as well. There is a wonderful courtyard and a rooftop terrace where you can see the city. On nice days you can also buy drinks at the top. I went to the buffet breakfast as well and was very pleased. It is about a 3 minute walking distance from the cathedral/ the heart of the city. I strongly recommend this hotel!

Yelp
The Hotel Murillo is located in a very convenient area. The rooms were clean and we had everything that was advertised. But, what was lacking at this hotel was the extra touches - it was as if they did the bare minimum to make this a good hotel. For example, the staff did not leave additional hand/body soap in the bathroom after cleaning, they left dirty glasses in the room, one late evening I needed a cup of hot water for some medicinal tea - and they informed me the kitchen was closed. They don't provide you with any bottles of complimentary water or snacks or candies. While none of these things would prevent me from booking here, next time I book in Seville I will look at other hotels who "go the extra mile."
