Overall I had a good experience here. I thought it was on the expensive side, even for Switzerland. On my 10 day trip through Switzerland, this was the second smallest room I had but the most expensive.
That said, it was very clean, perfectly located within the city walls, and served a good included breakfast. I didn't get the feeling there were many hotel options around Murten, so this seemed like the best choice and was recommended in my Rick Steves guide book.
I would more than likely choose to stay here again if I ever return to Murten. Being right in the heart of the old city made it worth it. it's also a short walk to a nearby Coop grocery store. The train station is also an easy walk as well, which allowed me to visit the Roman ruins at Avenches.
