I was privileged enough to visit Mandalay, they have been through a rough time with earthquake and civil war. I couldn't find anywhere suitable online, so I walked around downtown until I finally found this hotel. The hotel it's self is very standard, the room quality was good for the price, and the staff were really friendly. If you are brave enough to visit, I can recommend this as a solid place to stay in a good location, and not a big gov hotel. No complaints whatsoever

We were in town for medical reasons and booked this hotel as it was only a couple blocks from the hospital. We found the staff to be most helpful in all we needed and even walked us to the hospital after dark! The rooms were small, but very clean. TV and WiFi available. Room are air conditioned. Snacks and drinks were available in the room for purchase. Large breakfast buffet on the weekend.||Typical Myanmar breakfast, but we were able to order eggs. ||Close to several tourist attractions and restaurants.||Would definately stay here again.

The hotel location is great for sightseeing. The rooms are clean if not a little small, but they have everything from fast internet, big TV and a good bathroom with shower. The breakfast served on the top floor restauant was good and it was very nice to sit outside in the evenings with a drink. The best at this hotel was the staff: Very polite, helpful with anything and allways smiling.

During my previous business trips, I used to stay at a well known hotel with a higher price tag. But this time, it happened to choose this one. Honestly, I was not impressed with it's apartment style front view. But, when stepped into the lobby I met with friendly staffs performing decently. The rooms, they seem small if you plan to stay all day long. But if you plan to have a tour during day times, the new decoration, cozy beds, new and shinny showers, and big LCD TV will serve you the best. Only one draw back is its lack of compound and building is close to neighbors. So, please expect some noises from the neighbors in the afternoon. I would suggest to choose the higher floor. Staffs are new and need more experiences, but they are friendly and learning type. Finally, the location is in the middle of everywhere...I mean, you need to walk but you could explore many within walking distance.

My partner and I stayed here as part of our backpacking trip around SEAsia, and so enjoyed the experience. The room was small (but everything in Myanmar is) but clean and the space was well-used. The bathroom was immaculate with a fantastic shower. The staff was extremely friendly and helped us with anything we needed from sight seeing information to booking cabs or tickets. I would definitely stay here again.

Room was a bit small, but bath and shower great, air conditioning excellent and welcome, free wifi, good breakfast with eggs, fruit, and breads. The rooftop bar is a great place for a cold drink at sunset! Staff were helpful and cheerful. Located directly across from medical school.

Among the 5 hotels I stayed in Myanmar, this was the best hotel! The room was clean and great shower !! The service was excellent, staff was very friendly, courteous and alert. ||||There's a coffee shop just a few lots away for hotel, tried the Mohinga, a kind of noodles with fish soup, I really enjoyed it together with locals and it only costs 600kyts. per bowl.

This hotel is very nice: new facilities, everything works great. ||I booked the suite but was disappointed to notice it has 2 beds (double+single) - so it doesn't feel very luxurious or romantic, more like a small family room :) The double rooms are also very small, but nice.||Breakfast was good but most of the selection was gone toward the end; if you want the full choice, don't wait for the last 1/2 hour of breakfast time.||The staff was extremely friendly and made every effort to keep us happy.
