HOTEL MYSTAYS PREMIER Kanazawa – My Absolute Favourite of My early 2026 Japan Trip! I stayed at HOTEL MYSTAYS Premier Kanazawa for three nights and it ended up being my favourite hotel of my entire trip. The room was extremely clean and very spacious — at 32 sqm, it really was much larger than most hotels in Japan for the price paid and was very comfortable for a longer stay. The pricing was also very affordable for the space, quality, and comfort provided, making it excellent value for money. Service from the staff was also excellent — friendly, professional, and always helpful whenever we needed assistance. I also tried the Kanazawa Gozen recommended by the hotel, and it was fantastic. At 3,500 yen, it was well worth the price and a great way to experience local cuisine without leaving the hotel. Overall, an outstanding stay and easily my top hotel choice during this trip. I truly hope to return and stay here again in the future.

My wife booked our accommodation here for 2 nights last December 3-4, 2025. The price was very good. Both the staff and the amenities were excellent, and the hotel itself felt luxurious. I truly admired the Japanese hospitality they displayed. Despite being on the cheaper end of hotel pricing, they offered very good amenities and the rooms were huge. I will definitely come back here the next time I explore Hokuriku, Japan.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was surprisingly large, and the bed and cushions were extremely comfortable. The location is a bit far from the city center, but it’s very close to Kanazawa Station, which made getting around easy. There’s also a convenience store right next to the hotel, which was really handy. One fun detail- my wife absolutely loved the hair dryer! Overall, a wonderful experience and we’d gladly stay here again.

The hotel is very well located just few mins away from the station. The staff was kind and helpful throughout our stay. The room was big and clean, nothing much of view on the side of the room we were, the tv was not working properly I guess the Netflix button not working, I watched on laptop but I would want to use the tv 🤷🏼. There is a laundry on 4th floor, library and some fitness gym and vending machines. There are lots of convenience stores around. The restaurants in the hotel I didn’t get to go was too busy. Seemed interesting thought.I would say the price was a bit more than it provided.Overall it was an excellent hotel to stay to do your business or holidays or shopping. 🫰🏻

This hotel is average. The room is fine. It is quiet, and the size is suitable for two guests. Otherwise, the layout and decor are forgettable. The ceiling lighting could be described as clinical, and there is only one piece of “art” (three small photographs) behind a desk that juts out into the room. Then there are two chairs that can’t really be tucked away, nor can the two footrests be stored. It makes no sense. The bathroom is like that of a cruise ship stateroom, and the door opens into the room but only to 90 degrees, which is frustrating to get around. The fitness centre is basic - no heavy weights - but functional. Close to the station (~8-10 min walk) but in a food and grocery desert; the best you can do is 7-Eleven next door. Overall, nothing to write home about. If you want a dormitory experience, this is the place to go.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was convenient, just a 10-minute walk from the train station. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was also comfortable, and I slept very well during my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and well-located stay.

We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights at this hotel recently. The location is very convenient, there is a 7E next door and the hotel has its own parking (i think it was about 1,500 yen per day). If that is full, there are plenty of coin parking lots nearby as well. The rooms are very spacious and the amenities provided seemed to be quite luxurious, I especially loved the hair conditioner in the bathroom and the free hair milk packets you can get from the check in counter. The staff can speak English which is a bonus point for our family. The hotel itself is located on a quiet street. Overall we had a peaceful stay at this hotel and would consider coming back again.

This was the largest hotel room I had during my trip around Japan. It is a business hotel - but was a great place to rest up, and work for a bit. I felt I could properly unpack here compared to some of the other hotels I stayed in. It was conveniently next to a 7-11 where you can get anything you can think of - including coffee at 6am. It is near the train station and the castle park area is walkable.

Yelp
There are two Hotel Mystays Kanazawa; Hotel Mystays Kanazawa PREMIER and Hotel Mystays Kanazawa CASTLE. I'm not sure which one this hotel is for.... Uses DHC products (make-up remover, moisturizer, face soap). The "onsen" is outside; a bit difficult to find at first. A bit cold since you have to step out of the building and enter another building 5 feet away to get there. Offered 3 beds! Toilet and shower was separate. Be aware that there's Hotel Mystays and Hotel Mystays Castle.

Yelp
A weird way to start a review, but best feature of this hotel is free washers and dryers for guest use! You just have to buy soap at 100 yen per load. Just beware it may take 2 hours to dry clothes in dryer, and there can be a long queue to use them. Room was very spacious, Western style but with the micro-bathroom you'd expect in Japan. Bed is a little hard, also as expected. Blanket was totally synthetic and made me sweat a ton overnight, even with window open at 50 degrees outside. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and kind. We were dealing with a lost phone on the Shinkanzen, and they called lost and found for us. They also had our luggage from the luggage forwarding ready for us when we arrived. One downside is there are no restaurants or shops close by. For all meals we had to go back to the train station. But it's a fine walk that includes a pianist playing music in the underpass...only in Japan!
