I loved the size of the rooms! Beautiful, comfy and bright, too. The hotel is in a great location - with a 7-11 next door and the train station not too far away. The breakfast, however, was deplorable. Cold eggs and bacon - with no system to keep the food hot 😖. There wasn't much variety, either. And if you decide you need an iron, you need to go down to reception to pick one up yourself. Overall, a comfortable stay.

Nice hotel close to station and food outlets. 711 next door with a good choice. Rooms large ,normally they are quite small in Japan helpful staff ,clean all the amenities you need. The breakfast is not very good. It does not cater to Austra Asians or Europeans And is also a little cramped. There is an ice vending machine and a microwave. would I recommend this hotel and stay here again ?yes good value.

Surprisingly large rooms by Japanese standards, comfortable western style beds, excellent housekeeping, charming laundry and small but functional gym equate to a great stopover in the middle of a 15 night trip. Neat touches like access to a microwave on L8 to heat bought food, close proximity to the railway station albeit a fair way away from the main sites, and positive front desk staff make this a very good place to stay.

Very nice stay here. Spacious room which is great for extra luggage space. Kind and helpful staff who helped us with a lost item from another hotel. Good location close to the JR station.

Outstanding new hotel that offers truly unbeatable value. The rooms are massive, clean and well appointed. Elevators are fast and the staff is excellent. This is a significant step-up from competing Japanese chain hotels.

Great room. Large for Japan. 2 beds in our room. Close to Kanazawa Station (on the less busy west side). We bought breakfast at 7-11 next door.

had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location is very convenient, just about a 5-minute walk from Kanazawa Station, making it easy to explore the city. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything I needed. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again in the future!

I really enjoyed staying at this hotels. The rooms are quite large by Japanese standards, basically an American style room. Checking was fast and friendly. It’s a very short walk from the train station in a quiet area with a convenience store nearby. If you have kids, there’s also a public playground nearby. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
There are two Hotel Mystays Kanazawa; Hotel Mystays Kanazawa PREMIER and Hotel Mystays Kanazawa CASTLE. I'm not sure which one this hotel is for.... Uses DHC products (make-up remover, moisturizer, face soap). The "onsen" is outside; a bit difficult to find at first. A bit cold since you have to step out of the building and enter another building 5 feet away to get there. Offered 3 beds! Toilet and shower was separate. Be aware that there's Hotel Mystays and Hotel Mystays Castle.

Yelp
A weird way to start a review, but best feature of this hotel is free washers and dryers for guest use! You just have to buy soap at 100 yen per load. Just beware it may take 2 hours to dry clothes in dryer, and there can be a long queue to use them. Room was very spacious, Western style but with the micro-bathroom you'd expect in Japan. Bed is a little hard, also as expected. Blanket was totally synthetic and made me sweat a ton overnight, even with window open at 50 degrees outside. The staff was EXTREMELY helpful and kind. We were dealing with a lost phone on the Shinkanzen, and they called lost and found for us. They also had our luggage from the luggage forwarding ready for us when we arrived. One downside is there are no restaurants or shops close by. For all meals we had to go back to the train station. But it's a fine walk that includes a pianist playing music in the underpass...only in Japan!
