Had a wonderful stay here with my 85‑year‑old mother; the room, the views, food, and especially the warm, attentive staff made it feel like a home away from home. Room and views The hotel booked us in one of the best rooms, which was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable for an older guest, with everything laid out for easy movement and rest. Large windows offered beautiful views of the property, and it was a joy for my mother to sit and enjoy the scenery without having to go far. Comfort for my 85‑year‑old mother The location near the elevator, the calm atmosphere, and the thoughtful layout of the room made it very convenient and safe for my 85‑year‑old mother. Staff were always patient, ready to offer an arm or answer questions, which gave our family a lot of peace of mind. Food and dining The food was excellent at every meal, with fresh, well‑prepared dishes and plenty of options that suited my mother’s appetite. Service in the restaurant was prompt and kind, and the team happily accommodated small requests, which made dining relaxed and enjoyable. Service and smiling faces What truly stood out was the consistently warm service and the many smiling faces we met throughout the property. From reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff, everyone seemed genuinely happy to help, and their kindness turned a good stay into a truly memorable one for my mother and me.

This was my fourth stay at this hotel, and each visit has left me with lasting, positive memories. On this occasion, my family and I, along with our friends, enjoyed a comfortable and hygienic stay. The rooms and common areas were clean and well maintained, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff members were consistently courteous and attentive. Adding to the experience, the view from the hotel was truly amazing and made our stay even more memorable. Thank you to the team for making our holidays as a good, comfortable and memorable time.

I don't usually write reviews, but after nine visits to Hotel Mystic Mountain, I felt like I had to. My family and I are based in the US, and whenever we're in Nepal or have visitors from back home, this is the first place we think of. It's become our little tradition.|We stayed again on November 29th, and the morning view was incredible - the entire Himalayan range was crystal clear, including Mahalangur. You really have to see it in person; photos just don't do it justice.|What keeps bringing us back isn't just the views though. The food is consistently good, and the rooms are comfortable. But honestly, it's the staff that makes the difference. Sunita Dhonju, the Guest Manager, has been there for most of our visits and she's wonderful. She always remembers us, makes sure we get a good room, and just has this way of making you feel welcome. The rest of the staff are equally friendly and helpful.|It's not fancy or over-the-top, but that's kind of the point. It's just a really solid, reliable place with great people and an unbeatable location. We're already planning our tenth trip.|If you're looking for a peaceful spot with mountain views near Kathmandu, definitely check it out.

Original we stay here just for one night, later we extend one more night, the hotel view and facility is stunning. Indeed is a bit far from any other hotel at Nagarkot. I wish if is in Summer, so that we can soak into the pool by looking at the stunning view. They have full facility, we play air hockey, billiard, archery. They also have Jacuzzi. They do provide excursion and spa. Our room direct view looking toward the mountain view. Their breakfast area also having a stunning view. This is unforgeable experience. Every corner you can view the mountain view. Highly recommended, if i come back here, i will choose the same hotel.

Our stay at Mystic Mountain Hotel in Nagarkot was absolutely wonderful. The location is stunning, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas, especially during sunrise and sunset. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, clean, and very well maintained. The staff were exceptionally warm, professional, and always ready to help, making us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and provided amazing mountain views. The food was delicious with a good variety, and dining with such a scenic backdrop made the experience even more special. The infinity pool and spa facilities were a highlight, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Overall, Mystic Mountain Hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and natural beauty. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Nagarkot.

We stayed at Hotel Mystic Mountain, Nagarkot, and while the property itself is beautiful, the overall experience was quite disappointing considering how expensive it is. We were told over the phone that our room would have a bathtub, but upon arrival, there wasn’t one. When I asked about it, a staff member rudely told me that only the Executive Suite (which costs around Rs. 65,000) has a bathtub. I wasn’t asking for an upgrade - just confirming whether I was in the right room. His arrogant and dismissive attitude was really off-putting and not what you’d expect from a hotel at this price range. There were also several small things missing that you’d expect from a 4-star resort: no slippers, no proper bathrobes (the ones we got later were kids size), and lots of construction noise even around midnight (12:30 am). There was also a bright light shining into our balcony, which made it impossible to sit and enjoy the view at night. The rails near the rock climbing area felt very flimsy - honestly unsafe, and I really hope the management fixes that soon. Also, the food prices are extremely high, so be prepared if you’re not on a meal plan. On the positive side, the buffet food was excellent, and the restaurant staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming, which really stood out. The morning mountain view was beautiful (though it fades once the sun rises), and the gym and jacuzzi were great additions. However, the swimming pool wasn’t heated, so it was too cold to use. Overall: An okay place to visit once for the view and ambiance, but definitely not worth the high price. There are better options around Nagarkot offering similar experiences for much less.

We stayed at Mystic Mountain for a night during our long Nepal trip, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best parts of the journey. We wanted a relaxed day surrounded by nature, and this place gave us exactly that—with incredible mountain views all around.||The road up to the hotel was a bit tricky, but once we reached, everything felt worth it. The property is peaceful and beautifully maintained. Our room was large, well-lit, and had plenty of storage. The bathroom was clean and spacious too. But what really stole the show was the balcony view — endless terraces below and the Himalayas right in front of us. We could even spot Langtang, Gaurishankar, and a tiny bit of Everest on a clear day.||The hotel grounds are huge, and it actually takes a while to explore everything. The infinity pool looked amazing, though we didn’t use it as the water was too cold. We had dinner at the restaurant — the chilli pork and fried rice were really good — and breakfast the next morning was lovely, especially with that view.||All in all, Mystic Mountain felt like the perfect break in our hectic itinerary. Peaceful, scenic, and comfortable — would definitely recommend spending a day or two here just to unwind.

a peaceful and calm place with a stunning Himalayan view. The staff are very friendly, polite and always helpful. The gym is well equipped and maintained which was a great plus. Room service could be a little faster but overall I really enjoyed my stay here and would happily recommend this place.
