Hotel Nabia

This hotel is situated on a perfect location. The views, the peace and tranquility are magnificent! This place is perfect for a few days. You can do walks in the Sierra de Gredos from the hotel or just enjoy the views, the pool and read a good book. The rooms are very nice and luxurious, we had a little terrace and a splendid view. ||You can have breakfast, lunch (like a pic nick) and dinner over here. The food was tasty, but I expected a bit more of a 4 star hotel.

We stayed for 3 nights in May and it was fabulous! We booked a room with a terrace, very spacious, huge bathroom, immaculately clean. Wonderful to sit on the terrace admiring the incredible views. The food (dinner and breakfast) was first class, professionally served. Excellent wine list. Great service. Make the most of the location - unspoilt walks, relaxing lunches, pretty towns and village to explore. A great place to get away from it all. Highly recommended!

The perfect retreat for an extended weekend or holiday. You only need to leave the premises for lunch -for that I recommend the restaurant close to the Chilla chapel, it's excellent-. The staff is extremely polite and the place is awesome. Outstanding views both sides. The suite we booked was just perfect. Nice touches all around, such as the fact that they clean your room while you are having breakfast so you have a seamless experience. Calm, quiet and with mountain views. I recommend to have dinner in the hotel. Don't allow children and/or noise people, which is a plus. I looked at the bad reviews before booking and they actually reassured me to go there: it is not the place for hooligans having drinks at midnight or for those people believing we all have to bear their kids. We'll come back.

From the elegant breakfast facilities and the gazillion of eggs in which your eggs could be cooked to perfection to the stunning scenery and the incredibly chic room interiors. Really, could spot no element to complain about. It provided the setting to the best work retreat I could have possibly imagined. My only regret was that I visited in late October, and the weather was a wee bee chill - nothing compared to mainland Europe, but still. I think in early autumn the place is simply astonishing. So zen.

This hotels location offers amazing views over the surrounding countryside. It is a very secluded place accessed up a single track gravel drive. The hosts took good care of us during our stay, nothing was too much trouble for them. Its a great place to relax and enjoy the outdoor swimming pool. The food was prepared from local produce and server by professional staff.

My wife and I managed to stay just as a big anticyclone hit the Iberian peninsula. That said we managed to get out on all three days of our stay at Hotel Nabia. The welcome from Inigo and Sofia couldn't have been warmer, the food was really top drawer, local produce to the fore and expertly cooked. Breakfasts were excellent, a good choice of pastries, cold meats and individually cooked dishes.||||We stayed in one of the second floor rooms, tastefully decorated and one of the most comfortable beds I have ever stayed in.||||The hosts went out of their way to explain different walks and trips in the area, the work and care they have put in to make this an excellent place to stay really showed through, the attention to detail quite extraordinary. The pool area with views across the valley to the Plain of Extremadura must be idyllic in summer.||||Would I stay here again ? Most certainly, if I was within 100km of Hotel Nabia I would make a beeline there, just a wonderful, mellow experience.||||Finally we would like to thank Marie-Luz, who was an absolute gem of a waitress. She spoke very little English, but had so much charm and enthusiasm, quite remarkable, it really made the stay here even more special....

This small Eco hotel is fabulous! Inigo and Sofia are gracious, kind and helpful hosts. They made us feel at home from the start and recommended hikes and activities in the area, which we did and was very enjoyable.||||The hotel is located on top of a hill with an amazing view of the valley, 8km from the center of Candeleda; the last 1km on a dirt road. We had the standard cottage with a private balcony, which was spacious, spotless and very comfy. It was great exploring the countryside and then returning to our own little haven of tranquility. Inigo is also the chef and his dinners of local and organic ingredients were fabulous, needless to say that we had our dinners there every night. ||||Can't say enough about them and will definitely return in the future. Highly recommend Hotel Nabia.
