Hotel Nahuel Huapi

2nd room was nice with shower and quiet. 1st room was street side and noisy all night with old tube. They did change us the second night no problem. No plants based milks available for breakfast. Canded fruit cocktail and some whole fruit fruit. Instant type oats were available with standard Argentina usual assortment of meat and cheese.

Positives: nice breakfast, nice staff, good location. 3-stars is accurate description here. The walls are thin and the doors are noisy when windows are open, knocking back and forth on their hinges. People honk their horns from 7pm to 7am. They don’t tell you about the tourist tax until you check out.

Great hotel to stay in Bariloche. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, the breakfast has a huge selection of pastries, fruits, and savory breakfast items. If you drink non-dairy milk though, bring your own, they don’t have it. The common areas and the rooms are clean. The room was also spacious and luminous. There is a private parking in the back of the hotel, which is a great perk as well.

We spent 3 night here and overall had a pleasant stay. Our room had comfortable pillows and bed. There was a small refrigerator, a safe and a hairdryer. The bathroom had a shower/bath combo. The internet worked well the first few days but was sluggish the last day. Our room was a bit too warm the first night but better after that. There is no air conditioning. The breakfast buffet is the same everyday. The first morning the scrambled eggs were way too undercooked for our tastes. There is a large selection of cold foods for breakfast. The hotel is conveniently located one street away from Main Street downtown. Sometimes you hear noises from celebrations downtown. There is a small elevator. Front desk staff was very kind. Rooms are very clean. The 4th floor room had a nice view of the lake.

This rating presumes you need to have fresh air, and like to get a good night's sleep. DO NOT get a room on the front side of the building, as it's on a very loud Moreno Street, a main centro arterial and bus route. Motorcycles also use it for a racetrack! On the back side, it's less noisy, but the nearby parking lot shines a light on the back of the hotel you can read by in your room . . . It's a very bright light, lights up the room. Management knows about this, and is indifferent. It's a totally cold breakfast, and the fruit salad is from a can. Staff are very nice, and we particularly appreciated Fabian at the front desk. We'd give it a "3" if it weren't for the horrific noise and light, and as you can guess, we like fresh air!

I only spent one night in the hotel, and yes there is a small elevator. The beds are comfortable, it’s clean hotel, wallpaper could be changed, but otherwise it was a very good choice. The breakfast is sufficient, there are hard-boiled eggs and some what scrambled eggs, and hotdogs, toast sweet breads, and fruit, both fresh and canned. The front desk, and all the employees are very friendly, and willing to help. It is located one block away from the Main Center, Mitre.|My room happen to be on the street side of the hotel, and at times it was noisy, but I was so tired, I slept right through it.|There is not only a safe in the room, there is also a refrigerator.

This hotel has a great location just above the main shopping street and close to the national park headquarters. We found all the reception desk staff to be very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Our room was quiet, clean and spacious. We enjoyed our 5 nights there and slept well after each day's long hike.

We stayed here for 4 nights and chose the hotel mainly for its central location. ||We arrived late at night and when we got to our room (we requested a quiet room) it was boiling hot. The radiators were on and it was like an oven in the room. Too hot! We asked reception if it could turn down but it was very old fashioned and would only go very low. Heating is not required in the summer so should be able to turn it off. Luckily we asked staff to check and turn it off for us the next day which they did thankfully! ||The WIFI in our room did not work. We could only get WIFI in reception lobby or at breakfast which was inconvenient. Room was a bit dated but the bed was comfortable. Could do with updating the hotel in general. The lobby was fine but rooms are dated. Shower was good and powerful but again bathroom is outdated. ||Breakfast was basic; bread, cakes, cereals, ham, fruit etc. Okay but could be better ||The staff however were very helpful. Especially Fabien and the doorman (sorry we did not catch your name). They helped us with transfers to the airport when it arrived late and gave us tips. And was always friendly. The lady working there was a little grumpy though, she was not as friendly as the men. ||Was an OK stay overall but probably would not stay here again unless they improved the WIFI. for us this is a must!
