Location was perfect, could walk everywhere, and water transport was close by.|The Hotel was beautifully, tastefully decorated for Christmas. Our room was wonderful, very comfortable and had everything you needed. The big plus about Hotel Nani Mocenigo Place is the staff, who are lovely, friendly and helpful; they made us feel like we were family and so welcome. Breakfast was delicious. I am sorry that we didn't eat in the restaurant in the evening, but I will next time. |Thank you for making our 5-day Venice trip so special, we will never forget it.|Gordon & Sarah Woodward

We had a wonderful stay celebrating our 10-year anniversary. Sofia at reception was incredibly kind and welcoming — she surprised us with an arrival breakfast even though we arrived early and also upgraded our room, which meant so much to us. At the restaurant, Irene was amazing — she has such a great personality and truly elevated every meal with her warmth and attentiveness. The room was cleaned multiple times a day, beautifully maintained, and absolutely gorgeous — very well done and truly five-star. Breakfast itself was not spectacular but perfectly fine overall. I am picky. The service and staff made this stay unforgettable. We felt genuinely taken care of and would absolutely return.

This is a really great hotel. Helpful staff, beautiful inside and out and the location is great. Close to everything but not in the fray. I like how it is quite close to one of the major walking bridges over the Grand Canal. Breakfasts and the dessert selection were delicious. My only concern was that the AC wasn’t on (apparently to government shots it off on some date in fairly early October) so the room was hot and opening the windows allowed in the mosquitos. Screens in the windows would be a good idea. |Overall I highly recommend this hotel. Oh and it has a convenient location in a small canal for easy water taxi service! Must have!

We stayed 3 days with my husband, 2 toddlers and parents. STUNNING 600 year private home converted into a hotel. The service is exceptional and our hats off to Sifat our server. He set our table before we arrived in the mornings, remembered our orders and went out of his way to accommodate for our picky eaters. He made us feel like we were home. Thank you Sifat and to your team Irene, Laura, and Meloree. Hope to see them again.

My husband and I stayed here for our minimoon in Venice directly following our wedding. We were blown away by how amazing our experience here was. The Presidential suite was spacious, expertly decorated, with a large balcony and canal views. It was easily the most beautiful room we've stayed in, in the most beautiful hotel we've stayed in. The staff were warm, congratulatory, and quick to help (including finding us last minute dinner reservations for specific dietary requirements and helping us figure out how to get around Venice). The breakfast buffet catered to my celiac disease and the setting was lovely. The location was also perfect and within walking distance of all major attractions. We are already dreaming of coming back for a wedding anniversary. Thank you for making our stay a once in a lifetime memory!

The hotel is housed in a stunning 15th-century building that makes a great first impression from the outside. There’s also a charming courtyard where breakfast is served each morning, which was a nice touch. The staff were absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, which made a big difference during our stay. That said, the rooms were much smaller than expected for a property advertised as five stars. The carpets were stained, some outlets didn’t work, and we had recurring issues with the hot water that required staff to reset the boiler. Overall, while the setting is beautiful and the staff were amazing, the experience felt closer to a three-star hotel by U.S. standards.

BEST HOTEL WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN. What a wonderful hotel to stay at. We had such a nice time e=we actually changed our flights and stayed another night. Service was the best - team members were wonderful. The front of House team were outstanding. Sophie / Sophia was so lovely and really looked after us. All the team on the front desk and porters were brilliant - thank you. Food and drinks service was the very best as well and huge shout out to: Laura Gennaro Raffaele Giacomo Max and all the team at this lovely hotel. So good, we have already booked to come back next year - great location too. Thank you. James and Martine xxxx Room 212 and 205

Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace is truly the gem of Venice! From it's location along the canal to it's exquisite decor this place is amazing! Right at check in I was greeted by the most friendliest staff who made sure I received the best accommodations for my stay! And let's not even talk about the room! Magnificent!! Breathtaking! To say the least! Even the bathroom was beautiful! Words can express how beautiful this place is! And to top it all off, the food was delicious! I highly recommend this place if you decide to travel to Venice. 5 Stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Yelp
We had a lovely stay at the Hotel Nani Mocenigo! The staff are so wonderful, welcoming and helpful. We felt immediately at home and comfortable. My fiancé and I stayed in the family room which was *huge*. It's a two room suite with a living room, master bedroom, second large bedroom and large bathroom. We never even used the second room-would be a perfect size for a family of 3+ or two couples. The hotel grounds are beautiful with stunning chandeliers, grand sitting areas and a gorgeous courtyard. The included breakfast was very good and we enjoyed eating every morning out in the sunny courtyard with the flowers and fountain. Bed was very comfortable and towels were soft/plush. Housekeeping services are excellent and we were always left a sweet note and chocolate on the bed daily (including a murano glass candy the last night). We took advantage of the hotel's murano glass factory tour and it was excellent way to start a day trip! The water taxi picked us up around 10:30 and whisked us away to Murano (there were two other couples on the tour). The factory itself was very informative and it was great seeing the glass made and learning about the process from sand to the finished product. There was no pressure to buy at all though I did end up getting a pair of earrings. You can return on the water taxi when you're done or continue exploring other islands as we did on our own by catching a vapored to (we checked out Burano and Mazzorbo before heading back to Venice). I can't speak highly enough of this hotel. The location is super close to Zattere stop on the canal and the Academia bridge. We also enjoyed exploring the Dorsoduro as it's less touristy and pretty quiet at night. Two local bars on the same street as the hotel also have excellent cicchetti. Highly recommend for the grand feel of the property, the excellent service and the location.
