Hotel Napolit'Amo

The images and ratings of this hotel actually looked decent so my family and I decided to book it. But when we actually arrived, we couldn't even find the entrance. We managed to find it but the door was really small, and looked more like a back entrance. When we entered, we couldn't even find the front desk and had to search every floor until we found it on the third floor. The lady was honestly very nice and friendly, but it still won't make up for the experience. There was some sort of issue with the booking and we had to change our rooms so we had to wait a few minutes, the nice lady apologized so we just shrugged it off. Then came the rooms, it seemed nice at first. However, when we looked a little closer to the details we realized that it was actually awful. First if all, the doors were light and flimsy, they felt like the could be kicked down with easy. It had zero sound insulation and I could literally hear the lights allong the coridoor turn off from inside. Secondly, the walls. They were not painted very well and I could see the paint from before the renovation. And don't even get me started on the bathroom..The sink wouldn't drain, the toilet smelled like sewage, they barely provided essentials. And yeah..the experience was really unpleasant, we booked out the night we arrived and found a better hotel called the resinence or something, it was a lot better looking and I would recommend it instead of this hotel. All in all, this hotel is currently awful and could use a massive renovation, and the reviews were highly inaccurate, the images of the hotel did not contain any of the bad parts of the hotel. And I honestly felt scammed, I would not recommend this hotel if you want a pleasant and memorial trip and there are lots of better options at cheaper prices.

It has really bright clean rooms very new and spotless. Nice area layout for breakfast too. Staff at reception were nice and welcoming. A really convenient and central location especially if you want to go on the ferry at the nearby port. Interesting as it located from the 3rd floor in a multi use building, but that was fine. Sadly we did not have any hot water one morning, but when we mentioned it they responded quickly and it was fine the next day. Good air con too. Happy to recommend it.

The hotel is hard to find. It is inside a multi-floor building with a lot of other businesses and offices. There is no directory that tells you what floor the hotel is on so we had to travel to a few floors until we figured it out (it’s on floor #3). The hotel is a bit run down and dingy. The breakfast wasn’t great. The AC in our room didn’t actually keep the room cool. It wasn’t horrible, but not great either. There are better options for the same price.

It was very clean, with every day room service. Kind stuff. The breakfast was decent. Don't be intimidated by the entrance, the rooms are recenlty renovated.

We was there only one night, we didn’t tey the breakfast as we left early morning but the area is super easy to access city center and main walking street. The room is clean and spacious. We enjoy the big bathroom and clean room. The pillows are little bit big and tough but nothing special for us. Thanks to the service

We stayed at Napolitamo Medina for one night with my sister and had a wonderful experience. Antonio and the breakfast staff were exceptionally kind and attentive, always willing to help with anything we needed. Their friendliness made us feel very welcome. It is important to highlight that there were gluten free options for breakfast. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the Quartieri Spagnoli — the famous Maradona mural is only about 10 minutes away. Our room was spacious, very clean and had a tiny balcony. The bathroom was modern, spotless, and fully equipped. Everything felt new and well maintained. We honestly have nothing negative to say. Highly recommended!

Very clean hotel and good central location. The noise isolation was bad so we heard the bell ring as well as guests walking and talking in the hallway.

This was exactly what we needed for our quick two nights in Naples. If you are planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel lounging around, this is not the right place for you, as the rooms are smaller and only have the essentials (which is why we booked it!). If you need a centrally located, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff, this is a great spot. Great view from our little balcony, and the breakfast was convenient. Would stay here again.

We stayed on the 5th (6th for us Americans) and had a corner room with two balconies. We left the windows open the entire time and thoroughly enjoyed the roar and hum of the city streets below. You don't need the TV - we sat on the balcony and people watched - way more entertaining! There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance in addition to the castle and the port. Highly recommend this super affordable place!
