Hotel Natur

A lovely two night stay in this beautiful hotel overlooking mountains and the bay. A very modest hotel run by Karl and his wife. They were so gracious during our stay.||We booked six rooms and Karl had everything ready to make our check-in quick and easy.||There is a huge dining area where you can relax till late at night and try to get a glimpse of the Northern Lights. We did!||A game room is downstairs where you can play pool or shoot darts. There is alsome exercise equipment if you are so inclined.||Please note that this hotel is not in downtown Akureyri although it is a 10-15 minute ride.||I highly recommend this hotel due to the owners, the amenities, cleanliness of the rooms and the spectacular views.||Get the rooms overlooking the bay and the mountains.

The best part of this hotel is the view, it is absolutely gorgeous! We unfortunately didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but there is one available. The rooms were clean, my biggest gripe is the shower curtain that flys into you when you take a shower in this tight bathroom. The breakfast buffet was just okay. Great for a stay along the ring road.

This is a very nice hotel, we stayed here for two nights. The room is warm and comfortable, the view is nice, the owner is very friendly and welcoming, and the quality of the included breakfast was really good. The room was also spacious compared to many other hotels we stayed, and it was very quiet in the room. The hotel is right beside a gulf, and we can view the sea and the land on the other side. There's also a tower that was repurposed from hey storage, and provided a high point of view up there. We rented a hybrid car, but the charge cable was not given to us, and apparently for those older charger types, none of the public charging stations provide a cable for them. (Some gas stations has the cable but on our way, this type of charger is broken in 3 out of 4 stations..) This hotel was the only place that allowed us to rent their charging cable at a cheap price - 1000isk per night, which is cheaper than using a metered charger.

Excellent stay at Hotel Natur! The rooms are clean and quiet. The view of the fjord was stunning. Delicious breakfast included. Kind and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again!

When we arrived at the hotel you should have heard the reactions to the view. We were all in awe at the sight. I've been at several hotel, but this had by far the most beautiful view. We told our tour guide/driver he should just go on without us, we'd all stay for the rest of our tour :-D. Some of us were even lucky to spot a whale in the bay. The variety of the buffet and the quality were also great. The Salmon with Mango sauce, Lamb (salad as well as roast) and the pesto were fantastic. We also made quite some use of the leisure room. The only downside for me: losing at darts.

Nice hotel with sauna and hot hube. Perfect view of the fjord. Breakfast buffet unfortunately only cold but friendly personnel.

Amazing hotel! We stayed for 2 nights, we took a bath in the hot tub with amazing view, saw northern lights, super friendly staff and great buffet!
