Hotel Nautilus

Great little hotel right near the action but don’t expect many restaurants open late in the season. We don’t dine after 8 pm for sleep and digestion reasons and for some reason they didn’t get the memo:) loved the hotel and responsive friendly staff although I might try the nautilus excelsior up the road next time as it’s more modern and 4 star but sometimes cheaper on the booking engines. ||Yes you can swim from boats late October in pristine water 22.3 degrees and some leave from Poetto beach marina so super handy. ||The buses to town are regular and cheap. ||Hopefully the beach bar picks up its service game as I wouldn’t dine there or have a drink through apathetic staff. ||Hotel staff are all wonderful and breakfasts a treat with freshly squeezed orange juice a memorable addition.

Great location for our kids, close to the beach, extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very comfortable beds!! Only thing that was unfortunate is that a lot of evening restaurants was not open due to the low season, so we had to travel in to the city for dinner. It works great with the buses - if they are not full, but it was sometimes a bit of a hassel when traveling with small kids. Overall, beautiful place with a great big room and comfortable stay!

Loved this hotel. The stuff was so so so kind. We used the bike service aswell. Breakfast was lovely! (they even left as a bag with some cookies and stuff when we checked out early in the morning) The room was small but cute as hell. Terrace came in handy and the bathrooms where recently done. Don't think I'd go back to Cagliari but if I did, I'd definitely stay again st this hotel!

My husband and I stayed at the hotel Nautilus for three nights. We loved the place. It was right across from the beach, your hotel stay includes beach chairs, and an umbrella. We took also took advantage of the free bikes that the hotel offers since the bike path was right in front of the hotel. They also offered free breakfast in the morning. It was a fantastic place. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel was very clean, very presentable. Great location and ideal for beach days but also very close to the bus stop to take you into the old town. The breakfast and great choice and the staff were very attentive. I would highly recommend and would come back.

What’s not to love, all the facilities of an excellent hotel, neat, tidy with attentive and helpful staff. Free deck chairs and bicycles add more joy to the stay. Accommodations are clean, cozy, and practical. Location is also great and walkable to a lot of spots in Poetto (as well as right next to the bus station). Everything you need for an amazing time in Cagliari by the beach. The staff is also exceptional, friendly, and knowledgeable - from Carolina at concierge to Ruel at breakfast. They made my stay an unforgettable one.

I just left from a 2 night stay and am very upset about my experience. I paid for a sea view room and found it very disheartening that sleeping with a window cracked the first night and closed the 2nd night result in my face and ears covered in bites. I told the front desk in the morning and no compensation was offered. Not what I expect for a hotel presenting the way they do! I even tried to turn the AC on due to keeping the window shut and was unable to activate to the on position. I was extremely uncomfortable!
