This was definitely one of the less comfortable experiences I had. The receptionists hardly spoke any English. The dinner was okay but nothing special. The bed had no topsheet and an awkward red cover you had to take off to get a sheet, and no blanket (so good luck using AC or the fan to sleep). The wet bath with no separating curtain means of course that if you ever shower, your feet will get wet the rest of the day. Most disconcerting, the staff repeatedly tried to barge into my room and kept asking me questions. I appreciate that they wanted to help, but by the time I got the third knock in five minutes I wanted them to leave me alone. More so, the first times I opened the door they pushed into my room and stepped inside to ask me their questions. I've never experienced this anywhere in India, much less other parts of the world. It made me feel slightly unsafe and definitely like my privacy was intruded upon (once I was just wearing my underwear). This seems totally inappropriate. If I were a woman, I would have felt very uncomfortable and probably left the hotel. I learned that I had to stand my ground and keep the door mostly closed when they (again) knocked to ask me another minor question. This was definitely not worth the money, there must be better values nearby.
