Hotel Netum Noto

I really don't understand the good reviews of this hotel. This is the worst place I have stayed in my 10 days in Sicily. The rooms are extremely dark, the shower is very small, the breakfast is inedible, and the location is outside of the city in a residential area. The last fact was one of the reasons I stayed here because it is supposed to be quiet. However, there was so much noise outside all night. I probably would have slept better in the center of Noto. The most offending aspect was the lady at the reception. Though I had paid for my room in advance and showed up dressed nicely, she was extremely suspicious and impolite. I believe it was racism at its best. When I later informed her there were no tissues in my room, first she questioned if that was true and then she said she lost all the tissues! After a few hours of waiting for tissues, I finally asked if we couldn't take a box from another room and, as she didn't have a good excuse, she agreed. She followed me to my room to request the empty tissue box back as if I might steal it. This left me with a really unpleasant feeling. It's too bad because the lady at the reception in the morning was very nice.

What a lovely two night stay that was! Place was spotless - room spacious with all necessities- bathroom roomy and clean! Very accessible parking available! Staff very helpful especially Laura! Well done! You will see us again! Thank you!

Being tucked away in a quiet part of town and yet only 350 yards gentle walk from the main attractions of Noto, this hotel was ideal for us. Being able to park easily next to the hotel was a big plus. The staff were very helpful with recommendations for meals/visits and our room clean and spacious.

I chose this hotel as it had a decent car park but was so glad I did! Our room was spacious and had everything we needed plus more, including a balcony with a sea view, a lockable walk-in wardrobe and a good-sized bathroom with a huge shower. Rooms had blackout curtains but also had external metal shutters which blocked out all the light, great for light sleepers. The staff were friendly and helpful and had great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. They even supplied us with beach towels for our beach trip! Breakfast was very tasty with lovely coffee, fresh fruits, cold cuts and delicious home-made Sicilian cakes. The breakfast room was a bit bland but you can take your coffee outside to the small garden and drink it beside the lemon trees. Location is on the edge of town, handy for the E45 highway, and about 10 minutes walk from Porto Reale along a reasonably busy street. Note the car park entrance is off Via Giavanti, next to the Co-op supermarket.

This was a very nice and clean hotel. I wish the room had any kind of view but it did not. Staff is extremely accommodating and even found a way to get us the contents of our room safe after we left as we had forgot them.

Wonderful stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely rooms! We stayed here for one night and each of us had a room with a king bed. My room had a view of the Ionian Sea. We ate our breakfast outside surrounded by lemon trees. Parking was easy and gated.

The hotel appears newly constructed, impeccably clean, and boasts ample parking. The serene atmosphere, coupled with its proximity to a supermarket within walking distance, adds to its appeal. The only minor hiccup was with the WiFi connection. The next morning, we headed to Noto town center. The staff thoughtfully provided us with a map, indicating prime parking spots. We plan to revisit this hotel on our next trip to Noto.

My wife and me have spent several days at Hotel Netum for our summer holidays and we liked it very much.|Very kind personnel is receiving you with competence and in a friendly manner without being intrusive to your stay. They also provide very good tips about what to do and how to spend your time in this wonderful Sicily area upon your request and according to your taste. |The hotel itself is a brand new structure with excellent rooms plenty of space and in a quiet part of the city. Since the very first moment you enter the room you immediately realize how much owners care of your stay. Complete courtesy kit and everything you expect form a 4 stars hotel is there. We think Hotel Netum deserves even more than 4 stars. We enjoyed a lot how clean rooms were. Coming back from a day on the beach and finding a super clean room it's always a big pleasure. |They offer parking lots for free and we found it very convenient if you want to travel around the area by car as it's very easy to get in and out of the city.|During breakfast you can eat some locally made sweets and we found everything of good quality (we are very picky with food so you can trust us :))|If we come back to Sicily we are going to definitely come back to Hotel Netum. Highly recommended!
