Hotel NH Budapest City

We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived, the front office staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. They were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional — truly the heart of the hotel! The entire property was spotless, and our room was exceptionally clean, quiet, and comfortable. It felt like the perfect place to relax and recharge after a long journey. Breakfast was another highlight — everything was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented, with plenty of options for every taste. We are genuinely impressed with the level of service and attention to detail. A big thank you to the whole team, especially the front desk — you made our short stay feel special.

Really comfortable, clean room in a great area. Lovely view from my window. I had a post midnight check in and reception were welcoming. Was a perfect trip. The staff were so lovely, everything in the hotel was perfect. The breakfast was delicious. Leaving the hotel I got perfect advice on how to negotiate public transport line. 😊Thank you for making my stay in Budapest so great.

Not the easiest to rate. We had a good stay. The staff is very nice and helpful all around the hotel and the breakfast is very good. The location is also quite nice. Most places this side of the river are within 1-2 km distance, also near the river.||The rooms are a bit worn and outdated. Ours were of good size. Air conditioning works well, but cannot be easily adjusted (or ours didn't work as it should, that's a possibility as well). ||On average, a good stay.

I had a very nice stay at this hotel. When I checked in, I asked for a quiet room, and the receptionist was super helpful. She made sure I got exactly what I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location was perfect. It’s always nice when someone takes the time to listen and help thank you, Noami ! Would definitely stay here again.

Conclusion|I stayed at NH Budapest City for three nights. It’s a standard three-star hotel—clean and adequate, but nothing particularly special. The location is convenient, which was a plus. However, on my next visit to Budapest, I plan to return to the InterContinental, which is where I usually stay.||Review|I arrived at the hotel from the airport by taxi—it took about 30 minutes. You can also take a bus from the airport, and both Bolt and Uber are available as well.|Check-in was efficient, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.|The hotel is centrally located, within walking distance of most major attractions. There are several shops and restaurants in the surrounding area, and the train station is just 10 minutes away.|The room was fine—clean and functional, but nothing particularly special. I didn't use the Wi-Fi during my stay.|I had breakfast at the hotel, but the quality could definitely be improved.

The room and beds (firm) are comfortable and clean. They put 2 single beds together to make a bigger bed. Water has enough pressure. Excellent location since it’s close to restaurants and very short walking distance to bus stops. Our rooms were regularly cleaned and fresh towels were replenished everyday. No face towel provided though (even when we asked for one). Breakfast: A lot to choose from (salads, bread/pastries, boiled/scrambled eggs, choices of coffee, juices (not cold), cold meats, fruits, etc. Excellent service. The tables are constantly prepared when a guest leaves. There was no bell hop / hotel porter around that I noticed. We had to haul our luggages on our own. The front desk staff didn’t offer about luggage assistance either.

Robert at the front desk was very pleasant and extremely helpful. With regard to things to do, where to go, and where the best sports club was. I would rate Robert as the best front desk person I have met for a very long time. |This set the standard for our short stay in Budapest!
