Start excellent, the room was very comfortable, clean with all the amenities you would require. Double glazed and air-conditioned which worked well. In case you are concerned they only ring the bells at the church opposite occasionally! Our room overlook the square but we had no trouble sleeping.

Burglary at NH Collection Brussels Grand Sablon I want to share a serious incident my family and I experienced during our stay at the NH Collection Hotel Brussels Grand Sablon from 22nd to 24th August. Upon arrival, everything appeared in order. The check-in was smooth, and the staff were courteous and welcoming. However, the situation changed drastically that same evening. After checking into our room, we left the hotel around 8.30 pm to have dinner nearby. When we returned a few hours later, we were shocked to discover that our in-room safe had been forcibly opened and all our valuable items had been stolen. We immediately reported the incident to the front desk, but were met with indifference and a lack of any meaningful support. While the police were contacted and an investigation is ongoing, the hotel staff’s response was alarmingly apathetic. The next morning, I spoke with the Duty Manager. Unfortunately, the same lack of concern persisted, no urgency, no empathy, and certainly no sense of responsibility. I expressed my concerns, including the possibility of internal involvement, given the nature of the break-in and the unbothered attitude of the staff. These concerns were casually dismissed as “unfortunate circumstances” and “coincidences.” What’s even more troubling is the hotel’s lack of basic security infrastructure: there are no surveillance cameras on guestroom floors, and no security personnel on site. This makes it alarmingly easy for anyone with the right tools to access rooms and safes undetected. While I am not directly accusing anyone, the circumstances and handling of this incident raise serious red flags. I strongly urge anyone considering a stay at this property to be extremely cautious and not to leave any valuables in the room. Something is fundamentally wrong at this hotel.

Can't say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we knew from the start that this was going to be a wonderful experience. The hotel is very clean and beautiful...a very nice place to come back to each travel day. This is one of the nicest hotel experiences we've had and we do travel quite a bit. The location is great also. So glad we found this exceptional gem!

Google
The location of this hotel is great. However, the room is in much need of an overhaul. The rooms and hallways were dated and somewhat worn. We traveled several countries over several weeks in Europe with daily hotel changes. This was probably our least favorite. on the bright side, it was also one of the least expensive so you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for a good value in a nice, safe location, then this would be your place.

Lucas at front desk was a delight. He is friendly, professional, and efficient. In fact, all the staff were great, front desk manager, Clara at front desk, the staff members at the breakfast restaurant were all so helpful! The room was bright, clean and well organized. The breakfast buffet is first class. Highly recommend this hotel. The location is central to all the major attractions.

Google
We had a wonderful experience during our recent stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, Martijn at the front desk made us feel welcome - he was incredibly knowledgeable about the hotel’s amenities, our room, and gave us fantastic recommendations for nearby attractions. The location is ideal, with many key sights just a 10–15 minute walk away. Breakfast exceeded expectation - where most hotels fall short, this one truly delivered. Every member of staff we encountered was warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the NH hotel in early may as a group of eight people, spread across 4 rooms. Overall, we spent the majority of our stay in Brussels exploring the city, but the hotel was always within reach due to its great location. We were able to head back throughout to take quick naps and continue exploring afterwards. What I personally enjoyed most about my stay was the amazing service. The staff were friendly and approachable. I noticed this especially during morning service where the staff was very attentive and polite, and helped us with any requests we had.

Upon arrival we were greeted very nicely. We were early and were told they did not have rooms available. They did however state that they should be able to check us in around 12 noon. They asked for my information, and I was told they would call or email me. Sadly, we never heard from anyone. we did not get our room until 6pm. The hotel claimed it was a glitch in their system and the afternoon front desk was not apologetic at all. Sadly, they remained pretty dry the rest of our stay. Morning crew and restaurant management were extremely nice. Location is a bit of a walk from main square. not too many good restaurants close to the hotel.

Yelp
Great location - about a 10-15 minute walk from the Grand Place and main areas. The neighborhood is quiet and a nice break from the main tourist spots. Our room was comfortable and clean - my only critique is that the air conditioner was not good.

Yelp
1) Sleeping on stone would have been more comfortable than the bed I had. 2) Wifi was a joke. 3) Heating was "all or nothing" and there was not in-room control for it. When heater came on, I literally had to open the window or be cooked. 4) As others have stated, there is basically no hot water. Nice lobby though...

Yelp
NH Brussels Grand Sablon is in great location, close to train station, church and night market. The Hotel front and bell desk give excellent service. Jonathan was very friendly and gives great recommendations for bars and restaurants. The hotel rooms are kept neat and clean. I would highly recommend Brussels grand sablon.

Yelp
I'm staying in Brussels at the NH collection Hotel. It is a weekend and there is no guest service. The staff at the desk had no info for a hop on hop off bus, restaurant directions etc. We asked for a change of money and got the wrong change. we stayed in a suite which was lovely but the staff needs to know more about there city. We just left Madrid at NH and was there many times before and it was great. This location not so great.

Yelp
I'm torn. Would have given this NH Hotel a better rating but i'm weighing the cons more than the pros. Pros: This location is right in town. You can walk to the tourist attractions in a matter of minutes, the Brussels Central Train Station is a 10 minute easy walk, the FREE wifi is super fast, there are tons of restaurants right outside the hotel (to include Laduree French macaroons across the way..SCORE), and the bed is comfy! Cons: The hot water in the shower is a problem. It takes a very long time for your shower water to get hot. Once it gets hot, you need to adjust the shower and then it gets too cold again. You're fumbling with the shower knob for about 10 minutes just to get the water right. Housekeeping (or the lack there of) is horrible. We had the "do not disturb" light off and the cleaning sign on the door knob....after a full day of visiting Brugge, we came back to an un-made up room. No new towels, same filled trash cans. The rooms are quite small as well. Would I stay at this NH location again? Probably.

Yelp
My wife and I have been to hotels in 35 countries and this hotel was one of the best hotels we have stayed at. The ambience and cleanliness of this hotel is excellent. But the most amazing experience I had was a personal one. I am competing in a yoga competition in the US, and needed to work out at the fitness studio. Laura, the front desk person, escorted me down to the fitness studio. They had nice cardio fitness equipment, but there was no yoga mat to work out on. I told Laura, it's OK. I will use my towel. I went to rest for a few hours, and then went to the fitness studio. When I arrived, to my surprise, it was a Technology Yoga mat laid out for me, that wasn't there before. obviously, Laura and her team had made a special effort to accommodate my needs to work out. I was truly taken back and pleasantly surprised by the extra effort. Laura and her team had made. It was a great start to an amazing hotel stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It deserves more than five stars.

Yelp
What exceptional customer service! My husband, 4 month old baby and I went to Brussels for the weekend, celebrating 2 year wedding anniversary. Arrived at NH Grand Sablon and were welcomed by Isabel and Florian. Super attentive and genuinely kind Isabel interacted with our baby and Florian made our check in process easy and fast. We immediately felt special and very happy to be here. The hotel is in a fantastic location. Just across the street from the Grand Sablon church, and lots of eateries and shops. Less than a 3 minute walk to the art museums and less than 10 minutes from the historic district. It's also close to the hip area where locals hang out and where we went to the flea market on Sunday. Location is better than staying right in the thick of things where it's impossible to escape the crowds. This is just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of tourists but close enough that it's ideal. Customer service was just stellar. From the check in staff to the waiters at breakfast. Everyone always had a smile and was there to help and make you feel welcomed. The room was incredible. Loved the shower, the bed, the view of the Sablon from the window. They had fantastic attention to detail. They knew we had a baby so there was a crib beautifully set up for us as well as a changing table and even a baby bath with an NH rubber ducky for our little one! We are so excited to go back to Brussels and stay at NH Grand Sablon every time. Really top notch quality and customer service. We can not recommend this hotel enough!!!!

Yelp
Nice hotel. Friendly staff. We were here in August and it was about 80 outside and 75 in the rooms. No amount of fiddling with the thermostat could get the room cool. We changed rooms and had the same issue. Weak air conditioning. I had piss stained sheets and asked for a replacement. They sent me sheets with other stains. When the staff says five or ten minutes, it means when I get to it. Great location.

Yelp
Clean, modern hotel in a great location. The neighborhood was very interesting with nice restaurants, bars, shops and close to everything. The staff was friendly and helpful with checkin very quick and easy. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We did not eat in the hotel. We had breakfast at Jut nearbye on most days. When we went to our first room, it smelled of smoke and they came up immediately and brought us keys to a new room (I appreciate that they did not make us come to the lobby). Also, at the end of the trip the Nespresso machine in our room didn't work and they came right up and fixed it (water tank was loose). Again, appreciate the prompt and friendly service. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
What a great hotel! This hotel is pure elegance in the lobby and the rooms itself have a very modern classy feel. The bathroom was very modern with a large standing rainfall style shower. The staff were very pleasant. Breakfast was good with champagne offered to create mimosas as well as a smoothie bar and various coffee drinks. I really could not be more pleased with my stay here. I will look out for NH hotels now when traveling because this hotel stay was so comfortable and great!

Yelp
I came into the hotel looking to check the place out as it is centrally located and had nice reviews. My intention grab a coffee at the restaurant and or a beer at the bar and look about. But before all that could happen I needed the bathroom to wash my hands. I asked a nice fellow at the front desk where the bathroom was located and he went to his manger for permission. She refused it! I asked to speak to her boss and she promptly opened and closed a door saying he's not here.I've got to wonder if it is true. She then became abusive and yelled there are three bars around the corner use one of them! I had just picked up after my medical alert dog and my intention was to be a clean and also a nice person and not potentially transfer the dog's feces from my hands onto anything but having already explained that to the curt manager at the desk I then offered to shake her hand for being the quintessential rudest person I've encountered in all Belgium.. She of course refused. Were I to choose a place to stay in Brussels again this would NOT be it. I've met nicer less hostile people at a DMV office in the USA. For this person to be working customer service is a tragedy. Hotels are public spaces and therefore have public restrooms. Welcome to one of the rings of Hell where they insult you and treat you like trash for walking into the front door. There are much friendly and nicer places to stay in Belgium and I would recommend the park before spending a cent in this place...unless you enjoy being considered rubbish until you've paid their room fee then you may or may not be treated as well or worse. They'll already have your money. Just don't stay where the staff is rude. There are gorgeous places all over Brussels give this nasty place a deep pass
