I stayed one night with my father at the hotel. Great placement in Copenhagen. Close to the centre of the city and with a lot of cozy cafés close by. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist when we first arrived! The rooms a very nice! We had a big tv with the option for chrome cast which was very nice! We had diner in their restaurant. The chocolate cake I simply to die for! The wine menu was also very good! At the concierge desk we got the best help from Gülcan. She was so helpful and sent us out and about in Copenhagen. We went to a museum and also a “sauna Gus” Thank you NH collection for the great experience!

This was a nice experience overall. The room itself was great. Very large, very clean, and very quiet. The breakfast spread was fantastic. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. There are a few things that really kept me from giving this a 5 star rating. Yes, the tap water is drinkable, but one small complimentary bottle of water per day for a family is odd to me. They do have a water dispenser downstairs, but that’s somewhat inconvenient. Also, if you happen to have an early flight and miss breakfast (and you’ve booked the breakfast package) they don’t offer a to go box unless you pay extra for it.

We booked a premium room with a view. When we got there to check in, they said we were in room 1 on the first floor. My heart sank. I thought it was going to be a noisy room with no view. To my surprise, Room 1 is one of the best rooms in the hotel without getting a suite. It had an amazing river view. It was a corner room down a private hallway. Very quiet room. The room was much larger than expected. The hotel has great air conditioning. The staff are very attentive to cleaning your room. We did not eat in the restaurant, but the bar staff were very friendly. They have an incredible roof top bar. You have an amazing view of the river and Copenhagen. This will be our go to place for our next stay!

The NH Collection Copenhagen is probably one of the most modern, internationally competitive, comfortable, and well-priced (given the Danish context) hotels in the city. Located in a nicely renovated tower in the Christianshavn area, it’s easily accessible by car, metro, or bus from the airport and provides convenient access to key parts of the city such as Kongens Nytorv. I stayed in a superior corner room, which was spacious and luxurious with plenty of natural light and several large windows offering views of Christians Kirke nearby. The furnishings were a bit unusual — the absence of a proper writing desk or sofa made the layout feel slightly incomplete, and the chairs were a bit awkward — but the bed was perfectly comfortable. The air conditioning wasn’t very strong at first, though after contacting staff it improved slightly, even if not ideal. The bathroom was clean and nicely finished but felt too small relative to the size of the room. Water pressure was somewhat low, and the shower design allowed water to spill onto the floor. The sink was stylish but not very practical or clean, with limited counter space and occasional drainage issues, which staff did eventually fix. The hotel’s booking app and website could definitely be more reliable — online check-in didn’t work properly, and despite selecting higher floors, only a lower-level room with a king bed was available. It wasn’t a problem, though, as being on a lower floor helped with cooling. Still, for a brand of this caliber, smoother digital experiences would help. Staff were generally pleasant and efficient, though some interactions felt a bit robotic, and one or two were less accommodating when requesting services. After raising this politely, service improved somewhat. Overall, while the Nordic service culture tends to be more reserved, the staff were helpful and professional. I didn’t use the hotel’s restaurants, but they looked inviting. Small touches, like the plant in the room, were appreciated, and the overall design has a stylish, international appeal — even if a few practical aspects could be better thought out. Overall, I’d consider NH Collection Copenhagen a luxurious four-star hotel — arguably the best available in the city. While Copenhagen’s true five-star offerings are limited and often much more expensive without offering massively better quality, this hotel strikes a smart balance of comfort, design, and value and I'd most likely choose it again next time.

A perfectly adequate hotel. Overall it was a good experience. The hotel has a corporate feel to it, which did not bother us. The rooms are very large by European standards. Bed was comfortable and huge, bathroom was also big and functional. The location is also great, about 10 min walk to the centre of town. We enjoyed the hotel rooftop bar too although note that it is closed on Sundays. Someone else mentioned the poor selection of TV channels which I agree with. Also housekeeping definitely has room for improvement, we noticed some dirt and mess not properly cleaned and tea bags not refilled.

Nice location of the hotel and it looks modern. There is plenty of room for improvement in terms of being more welcoming to guests. Breakfast had plenty of choice and is served in the nice area. It was not crowded in the morning when we had breakfast so that was a plus. Overall speaking, it is a nice place but very overpriced.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. Everything was spotless and of high quality – from the rooms to the shared areas. The breakfast was absolutely perfect: delicious, varied, and made with top-quality ingredients. The staff deserve a special mention – they were incredibly polite, attentive, and always smiling. They went above and beyond to be helpful, which made my stay even more comfortable. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and well taken care of. The hotel is located in a very central area, with easy access to the city – the metro station is nearby, but I mostly walked everywhere thanks to the hotel’s great location. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, safety, and quality in the heart of Copenhagen!

We stayed here during a writing break in Copenhagen and couldn’t have picked a better location. The hotel is just a short walk from the metro and around 15 minutes by foot into town via the bridge — ideal for morning walks to gather inspiration. The hotel itself is stylish and peaceful. Our room was spacious, smartly designed, and had a huge, comfortable bed — perfect for unwinding after creative sessions. The smart TV and thoughtful storage made the stay feel both relaxed and practical. Staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and polite. Breakfast was a highlight — from fresh meats, cheeses, breads, and pastries to warm dishes like eggs, pancakes, and omelettes cooked to order by the chef. The breakfast area overlooks the street, making it a great spot to enjoy coffee and watch the world go by. There’s also a gym, slightly small for the size of the hotel, but well-equipped enough for a quick session — especially useful after a generous breakfast. The NH Collection is set in a quieter yet vibrant area, just enough removed from the bustle of central Copenhagen while still being walking distance from Nyhavn and the main sights. Nearby supermarkets, 7eleven and local cafés add extra convenience. Would definitely return — it struck the perfect balance between work and rest.
