Hotel NH Collection Copenhagen

Excellent service, kind and professional, and frankly ideal rooms for a couple of days trip whether it’s leisure or business. The rooftop is stunning and definitely a serious value added. In the city of bicycles they almost had a serious faux pas, but the staff caught it up with elegance and kindness and they deserved their 5-star. I wished more arrogant 5-star hotels would be trained by the management of NH to learn some basics of hospitality. Absolutely to recommend to anyone.

The NH Collection Hotel did not disappoint. It’s in a great location right on the harbor in Christianshavn. I arrived after a long overnight flight and was warmly greeted by a friendly staff member. While my room wasn’t ready yet, they held my bags so I could explore the city until check-in time.|The room itself was clean, modern, and very comfortable. The bathroom was also spotless and well designed. I had breakfast at the hotel a few times during my stay, and the buffet was excellent — a wide variety of fresh options, truly something for everyone. While the price may seem high by American standards, it’s very much in line with Copenhagen.|The location couldn’t be better. A metro station is just a couple of blocks away, but many attractions are also within walking distance.|Overall, I had a great experience here, and if I return to Copenhagen, this is definitely where I’d hope to stay again.||One thing- there are no drawers in the room for your clothes. The closet worked fine since I was a solo traveler, but it could have been an issue if my husband was with me.

I had an amazing experience staying at this hotel. Everything was spotless and of high quality – from the rooms to the shared areas. The breakfast was absolutely perfect: delicious, varied, and made with top-quality ingredients. The staff deserve a special mention – they were incredibly polite, attentive, and always smiling. They went above and beyond to be helpful, which made my stay even more comfortable. As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and well taken care of. The hotel is located in a very central area, with easy access to the city – the metro station is nearby, but I mostly walked everywhere thanks to the hotel’s great location. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, safety, and quality in the heart of Copenhagen!

We stayed here during a writing break in Copenhagen and couldn’t have picked a better location. The hotel is just a short walk from the metro and around 15 minutes by foot into town via the bridge — ideal for morning walks to gather inspiration. The hotel itself is stylish and peaceful. Our room was spacious, smartly designed, and had a huge, comfortable bed — perfect for unwinding after creative sessions. The smart TV and thoughtful storage made the stay feel both relaxed and practical. Staff were consistently friendly, helpful, and polite. Breakfast was a highlight — from fresh meats, cheeses, breads, and pastries to warm dishes like eggs, pancakes, and omelettes cooked to order by the chef. The breakfast area overlooks the street, making it a great spot to enjoy coffee and watch the world go by. There’s also a gym, slightly small for the size of the hotel, but well-equipped enough for a quick session — especially useful after a generous breakfast. The NH Collection is set in a quieter yet vibrant area, just enough removed from the bustle of central Copenhagen while still being walking distance from Nyhavn and the main sights. Nearby supermarkets, 7eleven and local cafés add extra convenience. Would definitely return — it struck the perfect balance between work and rest.

Service was amazing, very polite host, receptionists, waitresses, bartenders and chefs. Rooms where perfect, great view and amazingly big and comfy beds. The rooftop is one of a kind, with amazing view of Copenhagen, great selection of spirits and even better signature cocktails. The food was amazing, had a bit of everything and really worth it. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Copenhagen. Thanks 🙏🏻

Let me start this review by stating that I am a very demanding customer. There are no excuses and this hotel needed none. What a superb stay we had at the NH in Copenhagen. Where to start?! The room was impeccable, the air conditioner fantastic, the design, the lighting, the bathroom and the quiet. Now lets talk about the service, wow, fantastic! From the welcoming check in to the breakfast staff, to the staff at dinner and at the bar that provided me with many delicious teas during my stay at the hotel. Mind you, these were different people. Last but not least, the interior design of the hotel, the roof top, what can I say…certainly will be back to enjoy this gem in Copenhagen.

Truly incredible place to stay in Copenhagen. Beautiful, clean, and luxury. The neighborhood is gorgeous and there's a metro stop about a block away, so it's easy to get anywhere, and takes about 5 minutes to get to the city center. The rooms are super quiet, beds are super comfortable, and the customer service is unparalleled. Gulcan took care of me throughout the reservation process, accommodating health-related needs and being incredibly kind, responsive, and thoughtful. I am pretty particular, and I love this hotel.

Great hotel, with friendly staff. We arrived an hour earlier than the check-in time, and they were happy to give us our room straight away. Also with check out, I asked for an extra hour, and when I wanted to pay I was told it will be complimentary. Room: We booked the superior room which was overlooking the hotel entrance with a partial view of the canal. It was spacious enough for our luggage, closet was big, and had a safety box & iron+board. Would've been nice if the TV had more channels, but it was easy to screencast from my (android) phone, and watch whatever we wanted. The free WiFi was quite fast, so we were able to stream TV shows onto the TV without any lag. Bathroom: had all the expected amenities (slippers, bathrobes, towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, soap). Room was very clean but not entirely immaculate, so if I was to nitpick, 9/10 for the cleanliness. (In fairness, I rarely score 10/10 unless it's as clean and spotless as my own home). Reception area was a little small, but lots of staff working so never more than a 2 minute wait. Lobby was nice with lots of seating areas, and the entrance always had a nice scent. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Roof top was enjoyable (better to reserve a table in advance from the first day, as it may get fully booked, especially during sunset). Location: Strøget was < 15mins walk, or 1 stop from Christianhavn metro station which was 3 mins walk from the hotel. Supermarket and lots restaurants/cafés all 1 to 3 mins walk. Overall very happy with my stay from the minute we walked in to the minute we left. I would recommend it without hesitation. And for those people who are ethically conscious, NH Collection Hotel & Minor Group hotels are not on the boycott list of hotel chains funding the ongoing genocide
