Hotel NH Collection León Plaza Mayor

Fantastic location. If you are arriving by your own vehicle, parking is a bit tricky, as is getting to the reception/front desk, as signage is minimal. But there is a garage behind the hotel/plaza, so park there. Then go into the elevator (located nearest the gate you drive through), and take it up. It will empty you into the Plaza Mayor and the hotel front door is just to your right. That out of the way, the hotel is clean, very comfortable, very quiet. Breakfast and the restaurant is good. Service is great, friendly, and attentive. As others have said, there is absolutely no way to take shower that will not leave your bathroom floor soaking wet. This needs to be remedied. But the shower has plenty of water pressure and gets plenty hot. Also as others have stated, there is a bit of a dust issue in the room, and I have no idea why this is the case, because over all the room was immaculate. But I wiped down the nightstand, tables, etc, and then later it looked as if it had been on a dust storm. But beyond that, the room is very nice. Bed is a spring mattress, not memory foam, but it is very firm and comfortable. It also has air conditioning. If you have a room facing the plaza, not only are the doors to the bcony, but there are also interior shutters and black out curtains. This allows the room to become very dark for sleeping (a big plus), and also pretty much eliminates the noise from the plaza and its tabernas and cafes. The location is a dream. Right on the plaza mayor, steps from the cathedral, close to all sights, shopping, and restaurants. Also, on Wednesday and Saturday, the Plaza Mayor Mercadillo/Farmers' Market takes place directly in front of the hotel, and it's amazing. In short, yes, there are a couple of minor issues, but it's a fine hotel and I would gladly stay here anytime I am in the area.

We had a very comfortable 3 nights in the hotel. Location was excellent and the room was spacious. The airconditioning leaked on our arrival but was promptly rectified and worked very quietly and efficiently afterwards. The breakfast was superb with eggs cooked to order. The service was attentive and special thanks to Mabel who saw to every need and her cheerful disposition gave us a good start to the day We would certainly stay again.

Another great NH experience in León. The hotel is fantastically located wth excellent parking. Our room was well appointed with amenities including stocked mini bar, welcome treats for us and our dog. Breakfast buffet was outstanding and well worth the 18 euro PP charge. Employees were welcoming and cheerful without fail throughout our stay. Bravo NH team!

Great location easy to walk around. Good breakfast section with cava. Service of staff polite. Parking right next to hotel with discount. Air conditioning adequate for the month of june. Only downside, some noise at night from the plaza (guess young people partying and talking)

An extremely central, fully wherlchair accessible hotel with underground car park ( good but small lift).||Excellent staff. Our room was at the back and very quiet, the ones at the front, might I suspect, be noisy until the early hours as they overlook the bars in the square.||My only criticism is that the hotel is over heated. The public areas were really over warm.

I am a frequent traveler with stay across large number of hotel brands. This is our first time with NH Collections. We are impressed by the high quality of the property and the staff. Will be back.

The gentleman at the reception was very friendly. The room cleanliness was very disappointing. As you can see from the pictures the dust was so thick on every surface of the room. The sink had toothpaste residue and hair. The sheets on one side of the bed were not clean. Hotel has a nice location but definitely does not meet the standards of a 4 star hotel with the hygiene. There was also a weird smell when entering the room.

Great location, quiet room, and very convenient parking!I really enjoyed my stay at NH Hotel in León. At first, I was a bit disappointed to get a room with a city view instead of the main square. But it turned out to be a good thing — the square is full of bars and restaurants, so it gets very loud until late at night. Also, the square was under construction, so I was actually happy to avoid the noise and mess.The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. There were a few hairs in the shower, but overall, everything felt tidy. I loved the small details — like the nice selection of teas (4 different flavors!).The hotel’s location is perfect — right in the city center, which makes it easy to explore León on foot. A big bonus was the secure parking right inside the hotel — very convenient if you're traveling by car.Would definitely stay here again!
