Casa Suencia was a wonderful stay from start to finish. The staff were genuinely warm, attentive, and made us feel welcome the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our time there. The food was consistently good, with fresh flavors and a great start to each day. A special shout-out to Lili at the breakfast table—she truly went above and beyond. Lili took excellent care of us every morning, always attentive, friendly, and thoughtful, making breakfast a highlight of our stay. Her kindness and professionalism really stood out. We had a fantastic experience overall and would absolutely recommend Casa Suencia to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We look forward to returning!

This was our first time staying at an NH Collection hotel and it did not disappoint. Javier the bell guy was super friendly and was a delight every morning. The rest of the staff was also very helpful. This was the biggest room that I have stayed at in a European hotel. Around 6pm every evening they would bring you a bottle of water, chocolates, and a card with the weather forecast for the next day. Nice personal touches like that made the stay more enjoyable.

Beautiful hotel, exceptional service from Daniel V. Staying at the NH Collection Madrid Suecia was a delight. The location near Gran Vía is perfect and the rooftop is stunning, but the highlight of our trip was undoubtedly the service. I want to specifically recognize Daniel V. for his outstanding hospitality. He was not only professional but incredibly warm and attentive to every detail. It is rare to meet someone who takes such pride in their work. He made us feel truly welcome and valued as guests. Daniel V. is a huge asset to this hotel!

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a great experience. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a variety of options every morning. I’d especially like to mention Ali from guest relations , he was super nice, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with recommendations and any questions I had. Daniel and the rest of the hotel staff also provided great service throughout my stay and were always attentive and friendly. Khalid from the hotel restaurant was also very nice and helpful.|The room itself was clean and comfortable, although it was a bit small. Still, the excellent service and delicious breakfast definitely made the stay enjoyable!!|Great , calm location.

I had a great experience staying at the Suecia. I arrived well before 3pm (normal check in) and tired. The front desk team made sure I could access my room immediately. I had a corner room that got beautiful light and benefited from large windows that could be fully opened which is rare for a hotel room and appreciated. All my interactions with the hotel team were pleasant and kind. I also want to compliment the cleaning team on the 4th floor for their attention to detail and thoroughness. I highly recommend the hotel for location, attention to detail, and the quality of the rooms. I didn’t get to enjoy breakfast or a meal in the hotel due to my schedule yet I hope to return to enjoy meals and the rooftop (it was raining and cold for most of my stay).

This is was our first trip to Madrid, so I spent a fair bit of time researching hotels and this looked pretty good. I was wrong, it I turned out to be excellent, truly one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in. The staff make it so, they are top notch.||We were greeted at reception by Marta, she was friendly, professional and really took the time to make us feel welcome. She is the perfect person to be your first point of contact on arrival. All the staff maintained this friendliness and professionalism throughout our stay. Marta always had a smile and greeting when we passed by reception.||The room was huge, slightly larger than the first apartment I had in Liverpool in the late 70’s. The bed was a super king, six pillows. so comfortable!||Lots of closet space, we were staying for four days, so the boss brought enough clothes for a fortnight and there was more than enough room for everything. The aircon is silent and works perfectly, always a plus.||The bathroom was really spacious, (you’ll need a map) it had the most amazing rainfall shower. It was stocked with all the bells and whistles, the boss gave the hairdryer 10 out of 10, a major plus, apparently.||We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and requested a room with a nice view, we weren’t disappointed and (as the photo shows) a cute touch was added to the room!||Breakfast was outstanding! You literally are spoilt for choice. The staff were tip top, we were offered omelettes, poached eggs and a local egg specialty etc. The buffet was presented perfectly and the staff truly couldn’t do enough to help, outstanding, top marks all around! To top it off, the coffee was aces!||We ate at the restaurant in the evening (I reviewed that separately) needless to say that reached the same high standards as the rest of this amazing hotel.||We went to a local bar on our last evening to watch the Liverpool match but it was full, so we came back to the hotel and watched it online. We had to order room service and the food was really, really nice. The chef’s pasta was perfect as was the burger, and the young lady who brought our food was really friendly and not phased by a couple of oldies cheering on their team!||The hotel is quiet yet has a really nice atmosphere, beautifully decorated and it has the most amazing sweet smell in the foyer, it reminds me of the hotels in Abu Dhabi.||You are a ten minute walk (in any direction) to some of the most amazing sights of Madrid and less than five minutes to a Metro station (we mastered the Metro system almost immediately, easy peasy) it is a perfect location to explore this beautiful city!||My wife and I have traveled together as a couple (and as a family) for over forty years and I would place Madrid in our top five places to visit, we will return to this beautiful city and when we do we will stay at this amazing hotel, it’s up there with the best we’ve stayed in!||A big thanks to all the staff here (especially Marta) you helped to make our trip both memorable and stress free! We absolutely loved our stay at NH Collection Madrid Suecia! The rooms were cosy, super clean, and really comfortable — just what we needed after a long trip. The breakfast was amazing, with a big and tasty spread that kept us full for the day. The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of Madrid, close to all the key tourist spots, and surrounded by great restaurants just steps away from the hotel. A huge thank you to Marta, who kindly arranged an early check-in when we arrived completely exhausted. She said she would try and took no more than 5 minutes to give us one for a nominal price. Also, on the day of our check-out, we were unaware that the city roads were closed and we were struggling to get an uber to the train station. Isabelle went out of her way to help us get a cab. Without her help, we would have not made it to the station and got our train. They both made our stay extra special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience — friendly staff, great location, and wonderful service. We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in Madrid!

Writing a review about our stay at NH Collection Suecia, upon arrival before check in time, the hotel was welcoming and the staff friendly. The gentleman at reception was nice and pleasant. We checked in fairly easily and when we entered our superior room we were initially pleased, not massive rooms but I have accepted this in City Breaks. The room was clean, tidy and well stocked. Bathroom was excellent with one of the best showers I have had. The housekeeping staff were warm, friendly and excellent. This is where the enjoyment stops. On our first night sleep, where sleeping on Lego bricks is more comfortable than the pillows. The mini bar fridge that hums all night & the TV which has 50+ channels but only 4 work it seemed. Then we were gently awoken by the Rubbish/Garbage people who seem to take 30 mins to empty the bins and have no consideration for the noise they make. The tireless work of these people who keep our streets clean, I can put up with their noise. The best was yet to come early morning around 1.30/2.00 am, it seems the entire Bernabeu stadium (just the hotel bars empty onto the streets) and create so much more noise than the actual stadium fans itself. We put it down to a one off. The next evening (Friday) we thought we might try the Speak Easy Cocktail bar in the hotel, 9.45 - Access Denied - Private Party we are told, so we enquire about the roof top bar - Access Denied -Again Private Party. Come back at 10.15pm both will be available at the party has been there since 3pm. 10.30pm - Access Denied to both. We give up and call it a night. That blissful night sleep we crave, bang - gone again, rubbish/garbage man return, people leaving the Private Party shouting and being very rude to their neighbours. I believe Jordan Belfort must have sold the NH Collection their windows. Thank god we didn't have Breakfast here, as we would have been too early or when we could sleep too late. Earlier that evening we were given, some complimentary water, chocolate and Pillow spray (Chloroform would have been better) now we know why. This noise issue must be known to the staff. This happened again the following night sleep also disturbed by people, but the bin/garbage men came earlier, must of been because it was a Saturday/Sunday. All I can say is that I will and would not stay here ever again, not would I stay in an NH Collection hotel and also the Minor Hotel Group. I believe the reviews are fake and the staff must be aware of the noise issues. Honestly I expect a fairly wimpy reply from Management on this review.

This hotel was great! We spoke enough Spanish and they spoke enough English to make all interactions great. The bellman was fantastic. He gave us a rundown of the entire area. Where to eat, places to see. Kept giving us complimentary champagne. I know he was working for the tip, but it was authentic help and appreciated. He had our room cooled down to freezing, which was great when it was so hot outside! The room was great and the AC was a godsend. We had an issue with our travel agency and our train tickets. The front desk and concierge sat with us, made phone calls for us, spoke to agents for us, and solved our problem within the hour! Got our train tickets reissued and printed for us. The breakfast and breakfast service were amazing. Food was great and a wonderful way to start our day. Wonderful coffee.

This hotel is an amazing boutique hotel and with a great rooftop. The staff here is super friendly and attentive, they answered all of our questions and had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Will definitely be visiting again. Please keep up the great experience!

My wife and I started our ten day vacation in Madrid and this was the first of three NH hotels we stayed at. First off, the hotel is near all the action and we got free water and chocolates every day about 3. A nice touch. Great help at the desk and the breakfast was fantastic. I got a fresh omelet every morning, just amazing. Lots of coffee and fruit and ham and just all good stuff. This place is near a lot of great restaurants, I would try Casa Toni and get the sweet breads. They are fantastic! The room was clean and everything was fantastic during our stay.

My first time in Madrid, Spain. I'm so glad I stayed in this hotel, it was a walking distance to the metro, shops and restaurants were abundant! The free breakfast was amazing and the views at the popular skybar was incredible!

This is a very solid hotel, centrally located, with very helpful and responsive staff. I would recommend it to any visitor to Madrid.

Stayed at this Hotel during our last night in Madrid and was really pleased with the service. The hotel is nicely located in the heart of the city center , next to really good restaurants and bars. It has a lounge on the first floor, a underground bar , a restaurant and a rooftop terrace. Check in was fast and easy , our room was modern and spacious. Nice touch of complimentary nespresso coffee , water and infusions. The lobby lounge gets really busy at night , lots of people like to mingle and sip on cocktails from 8-11pm. All the staff are very polite and attentive and make sure you have a satisfactory stay. This hotel is definitely not cheap but is worth it. If you are driving and park at Plaza Cortez Garage about 3 minutes walk from the hotel, tell the front desk so you can receive a discount.

NH Collection is a beautiful, modern hotel located down the street from the Circulo Bellas Artes building (near Banco de España metro station). Service: The staff is very friendly and check-in was quick and easy. One of their staff took our suitcases to our room then showed us the mini bar and how to use the coffee machine. They called me a cab the next day and were helpful. Room: The beds were very comfortable, the hotel was clean and quiet and the shower was big and nice as well. It was spacious and they had shampoo and lotion in the bathroom which I've noticed is not standard in a lot of Spanish hotels. Food: We got to the hotel after 10 pm yet we were still also able to eat dinner at their restaurant, which was excellent food. We had a few glasses of rioja then split the salmon with onion and tomato and the rice with asparagus and prawns. We had brunch the next day which is served from 8 am-12 pm buffet-style. There was a wide selection of food including pastries, made to order eggs (you pick out veggies and meat in a bowl then give it to them), meats and cheese, mini sandwiches, tortilla de patatas, beans, fruit and a choice of different teas, coffee and juices. I would definitely stay here again if I'm ever back in Madrid!

The staff at this hotel were extremely polite and helpful in navigating the area. They spoke good English, as well, and it felt like they were giving you their undivided attention. The rooms were clean and had a nice setup. The chocolate was a nice little touch also. A shirt must have called out of my suitcase and the housekeepers were kind enough to fold it and put it on the nightstand by the bed. Upstairs, on the top floor, there is a bar that allows you to overlook the city. The view is beautiful and I highly recommend going to see it. Breakfast was good also. The buffet wasn't super extensive, but had enough options. The staff also offered to make you omelets, if requested. There was traditional Spanish breakfast food and traditional American breakfast food, which allowed you to try something new or to stay in your comfort zone. Overall, I suggest staying here as the service is exceptional!

A great hotel in a great location. We arrived earlier than the allotted Check-in time and they were able to accommodate us. The staff is friendly and they offered to carry our bags up the stairs. The facilities are well furnished, clean, and modern. The amenities like luxury soaps, candies, water with lemon add a nice touch. WiFi is free which is a huge bonus when you're traveling. The hotel bar supposedly has the best cocktails in the neighborhood. Will have to check out!

Great way to start our day in the breakfast cafe. Really impressed with how many options, how bright and cheery it is walking in and very nice waitstaff.

Stunning hotel lobby and completely updated guest rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had our luggage in "2 minutes" from Daniel. We had at least a queen bed, maybe a king, and slept like babies. The shower was amazing with a huge rain shower head plus a wand with various settings and the tub even had a small wand. There was a segregated room without a door that had an oversized chair that pulled out to make a 3rd bed. The snack and drink bar was clean and stocked full. It is on a quite street right in the middle of the city, mere blocks away from key tourist points in Madrid and close to travel tours. We loved our stay and when back in Madrid would definitely return.
