Hotel Tivoli Milano President

I booked my stay via AMEX Hotel Collection, it is a very nice 5 star hotel. ||The hotel is located in front of a plaza, taxi arrivals on the side of the hotel, doorman came to greet me with a smile and collect my luggage 20 feet from the front door. |The receptionist was even more pleasant than most of the 5 star hotels I had been to. He took me to a selection of rooms on the same floor to let me choose my preferred one, and had my luggage delivered to my room, again, that was nicer than most 5 star hotels I’ve been to. And he graciously refused the tips I offered. ||Throughout my stay, everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make sure my stay was as pleasant as possible. ||I managed to had a breakfast at the hotel one morning before I started my busy schedule, again, the breakfast was excellent, food selection and service were as good as I could imagine. From time to time, they came up to offer some special treats that were not on the menu, another pleasant surprise. |The “coffee guy” came over every 10 minutes or so to offer more drinks to make sure my cup wars always full. ||Overall, this is a true 5 star hotel and the service is better than most. |The location is excellent, just couple minutes walks to Duomo, my room has a great view of the plaza in front of the hotel. ||I thank AMEX for leading me to this place.

We stayed in Milan at the end of our 12 days trip before heading home. We arrived quite late with a lot of luggage. Upon arrival Zahier came and help me with the luggage together with another person. Can’t thank him enough and he directed us to the car park. The room was cozy and nicely decorated. The bathroom was spacious. Breakfast spread was decent although on the first day, the food finished early and it was only 945 am but they weren’t being refilled. Gilda in the breakfast room were very kind and apologetic and that made things better. She was like a motherly figure looking after everyone at breakfast. My only complaints were that they did not accept Discovery Dollars as a payment method during checkout even when I’ve already alerted them when I was checking in and was assured that it can be used. One other complaint is that the parking is too expensive.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and was very pleased with every aspect of my experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you arrive. The breakfast truly stood out and was one of the highlights of my stay. There was a good variety of fresh and tasty options, and everything was well organized. What made breakfast exceptional, however, was the amazing staff—especially Gilda. She is incredibly sweet, kind, and genuinely welcoming. Her warm smile and caring attitude made every morning special. You really don’t find staff like her anymore. She goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable and cared for. Thanks to the great hotel and the outstanding service at breakfast, especially from Gilda, my stay was truly memorable. I would gladly return and highly recommend this hotel.

Booking was under my husband’s name. The housekeeping did an excellent job, very clean. However service in general needs improvement. My husband tried to call the hotel before our arrival to confirm our booking and also inquire about car service, he called 6 times. Got hung up on, got transferred to head office, this is unacceptable for a ‘5 star’ hotel. When we got there, I asked to order a taxi to the central train station and the reception never explained to me they were going to order me a car which I got scammed out of $80 Euro to go 2.5km, not acceptable, you should explain that you can’t book a taxi and let us make our decision. We took uber from then on, very affordable and easy. I find it very strange that the hotel won’t let you take pictures of reception as they don’t want their staff in photos, we don’t have any interest in taking photos of your staff, the photos are to document myself checking in. And the way it is communicated can be better, maybe its a language barrier but it comes off very accusatory like don’t take pictures of our staff, we have no interest in taking pictures of anyone in the hotel other than myself. Maybe it is a transition between the current and new owners, but the staff need more training hotel itself was great. Other than the gentleman that checked us out seemed genuinely helpful and friendly, his service was great. The lady who booked us the car, she smiled at me but and as soon as I turned my face, her face looked annoyed. Please be mindful that the corner of my eye can see that, service is not genuine, at least wait until I’ve fully left before making faces. I’m honestly not used to receiving this kind of service, I’ve received better at 4 star hotels all across Europe.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we felt the warmth and charm that set this hotel apart. Our one-night stay was short but memorable—every detail reflected care and quality. The staff were not only professional but genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to Chiara and Matteo, whose attentiveness and kindness made us feel like valued guests rather than just visitors. Their thoughtful gestures turned a simple overnight stay into a delightful experience. Waking up to the city’s vibrant energy just outside the window (with the Doumo in view) was a highlight, and being so close to the Duomo made exploring Milan effortless. I left with a smile and the certainty that I’ll return to Tivoli President Milano on my next visit. Keep up the excellent work!

Exceptional experience at Hotel Tivoli Milano! The breakfast spread was top-notch and the service was incredibly professional. Ysabella provided such high-quality service that it truly elevated our stay. We will definitely be back!

Had an amazing stay at this hotel, from start to finish. The receptionist noticed it was my husband’s birthday and the staff made sure to make him feel special every step of the way. The room was nice and clean and has all the amenities you’d expect of a hotel in this class. The breakfast spread is top tier, and the hotel bar has amazing cocktails. Would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Milan.

I really enjoyed my three night stay at Hotel Tivoli Milano! Mark at the front desk was excellent. He suggested various museums and restaurants in Milan to check out and he also assisted with making a dinner reservation for me at "Justme" in the Sempione Park area. One of the days I had an early morning tour to St. Moritz. Mark and the staff coordinated a breakfast to-go bag for me since I would be missing the hotel buffet that day. I appreciated that and it made a difference when taking an early bus tour. The hotel has been recently renovated, so I was impressed by the spacious bathroom with an emerald stoned shower. This hotel is a quick 10 minute walk to the famous Duomo Cathedral and shopping. There are various cafes and shops around. If you are only in Milan for a couple of days, I would definitely recommend this hotel!
