I stayed at this hotel for the second time, and once again, everything was absolutely perfect! From the warm welcome at the reception, where the lovely Ms. Ni took great care of us to the always smiling Mr. Nidal, who helped us with our luggage, made sure we always felt comfortable, and even remembered that I had stayed here before. At the bar, Mr. Kapil provided excellent service, and in the restaurant, Ms. Eva made sure we had everything we needed. Their positive energy gives the hotel greatest value. The wellness center is definitely something you shouldn’t miss during your stay. The location couldn’t be better either it’s just a short walk from the main train station and less than 10 minutes from the city center. I’m already looking forward to my next visit! 🌟

Just checked out after 4 nights at the Prague NH Collection Carlo IV. We had a great stay. ||||The hotel is immaculate, beautiful and their customer service is top notch. ||||Great stay, when we come back next year for our daughters dance comp we will be closing another hotel. While everything was great with our stay a few minor details made an impact. ||||Our Cons: ||||The lounge bar, has no ambience or music, Felt very stale and cold. We love coming back after a day of touring to a hotel lounge or lobby bar that has ambience or a cozy feel. Also the Fragrance they are pumping in that lobby bar reception is absolutely TOO much. It's horrific, which made sitting at the quiet bar a challenge. Bar service super slow and drinks inconsistent. Had a few negronis beginning of the week and they were terrible and service painfully slow. Last night had one and it was delicious and the service was so fast! Very different experience depending on the staff. ||||Also Wifi is horrible. This hotel seems to be a hub for Viking Cruise Lines tours and operators. ||||Our phone in the room didnt work which was a pain, when trying to get replacement coffee that wasn't given by housekeeping, or for calling the bell hop. ||||Pros:||||Front desk employees, door man, bell hop all AMAZING. Top notch customer service I feel like they would go above and beyond if you needed them to. ||||Hotel is also in a great central location. ||||And the rooms were clean, spacious and the beds comfortable. Bathroom towels could use a refresh. And the bathrooms are large and gorgeous. ||||Thanks again

A perfect stay to relax and recharge! Our stay at NH Collection Prague Carlo IV was absolutely wonderful! After a hectic period of work, it was the perfect place to relax and decompress. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is calm and welcoming, and the location is ideal, peaceful, yet close enough to easily reach the city’s main attractions on foot. The spa area was a real highlight: a beautiful pool where you can actually swim lanes, excellent dry and wet saunas, and a lovely relaxation area. Everything was spotless and designed for true comfort. Breakfast was simply amazing, with live music (at least on weekends), a fantastic way to start each day. A special thank you to Eva and Kateřina, who were wonderful hosts every morning. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, even preparing a custom breakfast for our group of six (including my 7-minute boiled egg! 😅). Their warmth and attention to detail made each morning feel special. That said, the entire team deserves recognition, from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was friendly, professional, and eager to make our stay exceptional. We left feeling refreshed, recharged, and truly cared for. Thank you to the whole NH Collection Prague Carlo IV team and GM Marin for such an outstanding experience! Děkujeme za vše! 🇨🇿

I stayed at this beautiful and historic hotel during my trip to Prague in October. The location is perfect, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the lovely girl at the front desk, “Ni,” who made our stay truly remarkable. I loved the elegant lobby where they play live music 🎶 It was my friend’s birthday, and they surprised us with a cake in the room. The hotel has such a unique charm, Staying here truly felt like stepping into a timeless classic. Highly recommended!

I have mixed reviews on this property. To start, the lobby is incredible, super inviting and a nice place to hang at night. They even had a piano player on some evenings. The concierge was really helpful and recommended a nice place for lunch on arrival day. We had a triple room and there were 2 issues - the first being that the air conditioning did not work very well. There was only an "auto" or "off" feature, and on auto we found it was not working to its full capacity. Luckily we were able to open the windows to cool things off, but had we been visiting in summer it would have been a much larger issue. The front desk seemed familiar with this complaint and brushed it off. The second problem was that the door seal on the shower must have been broken, because after each use the bathroom floor was nearly flooded. We determined it was not user error. Ultimately our stay was only 3 nights, but had we been there longer I would have complained to the front desk. Hotel is around a 10-15 minute walk to old town, very doable and in a quiet area away from the crowds. Overall I think this is a good option and value when in Prague, but there might be better choices.

We arrived to be quickly checked in and were given an upgraded room for our anniversary. The room wasn't the biggest but was lovely presented and the lovely Yosif arranged chocolates in the room on arrival. On our anniversary we came back from sightseeing to have some bubbly and more chocolates in the room. This just added to our special day. The breakfast was one of the best I have had, so much choice and the quality was excellent! All the staff were lovely, special thanks to Yosif! Would recommended for location too, 10 minutes walk into the centre. |Would return- thank you

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel — it’s very well located, beautifully designed, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. But what really made our experience exceptional was Nidal. His professionalism, dedication, and kindness truly stood out. He took great care of us throughout our stay. We will definitely come back, and honestly, we’ll come back especially because of him. Highly recommended!

Rooms are like very small. My bathroom with a bed would be more comfortable. I attach some photos to showcase how dirty and run down the place is with beat up furniture, cracks on the sealing and dirty walls. The icing on the cake is the window, that has no insulation and you can see the curtains flicker as a nice cold breeze waltzes inside to ruin your mood. The hotel staff after complaining to them regarding the above offered 1 hour complementary check out… One more thing. The rooms have no vanity kits. You have to request. After requesting, they didn’t bring them to my room for 2 days and i had to elevate the issue in order to get awareness and a solution. They just do not seem to care. I would suggest that you avoit staying at this overpriced mess, but nice to visit the bar at the ground floor for a drink. When you pay EURO 800 for 3 nights, something better is expected… choose a different hotel to stay at
