Hotel NH Collection Prague Carlo IV

We really liked this NH hotel, it was very clean, staff was friendly, the room was nice. However the room was pretty small, even with our complimentary upgrade. Our large luggage took up a lot of floor space, but the room was nice and cool. What really stood out to us was being able to request a fan for our room! It was the perfect amenity that other hotels in Europe are lacking. I’d absolute stay here again.

I had a wonderful stay at the Star in NH Carlos Hotel in Prague. There were several aspects that I truly appreciated. Firstly, the staff were exceptional – very professional and always ready to assist with a smile. Their attentiveness made my stay even more enjoyable. The ambience of the hotel was also a highlight; it was warm, welcoming, and had a sophisticated charm that made me feel at home. I also loved the design of the hotel, which combined modern elegance with touches of classic Prague architecture. Lastly, the spa was fantastic, offering a serene and luxurious experience that was perfect for relaxation. Overall, these elements made my stay at the Star in NH Carlos Hotel memorable and delightful.

Gorgeous hotel, staff were lovely. When we arrived a member of staff carried our cases up the stairs then onto our room. Doorman constantly opened the door for us & wished us a good day. I had a massage at the spa which was amazing. Highly recommend. Pool area was lovely & peaceful. Breakfast each morning was great, so much choice & kept clean & tidy & there was a musician each morning which was a lovely touch

Our first visit to Prague and we chose an excellent hotel. It is close to the main railway station which is where we arrived and only a 5 minute walk. There are also tram routes near the hotel. The building is a beautiful classic style and the interior is grand. The hotel staff spoke excellent English and were courteous welcoming and friendly. The buffet breakfast was up to the standard we expect and the dining room was a real pleasure to eat in. Our room was fine, the bed was comfortable and it had all that we needed. I did use the swimming pool which is very good, though the capacity is small and they do operate a booking system. The hotel is a 15-20 minute walk from some of the famous sights but as Prague is a beautiful city that's not an issue, there is also an excellent tram system throughout the city and a 24 tram, metro and bus pass is the equivalent of £2 for those of us over 60. Definitely recommend.

Grand entrance. Welcoming reception. Beautiful smell throughout the hotel. Good size rooms and bathroom. First class breakfast in the 1890 restaurant. Staff eager to help and offer advice. Great location .. 3 min walk from AirPort Express drop off point. Trams outside hotel for easy access to locations across river.

Grand historic hotel in beautiful Prague. We were travelling with our adult daughter but still the effort was made to have rooms close to each other. We were fortunate to be in Premium rooms in the historical wing which had a lot of space and beautifully maintained. The hotel is in a great location to be able to walk anywhere and close to station if going further afield. The staff were professional and so helpful and obliging. We had been communication with Yosif in Guest relations prior to arrival and he had given us great assistance with restaurant recommendations and organising airport transfer. Whilst there Anna also a great help with a day trip. The breakfast is one of the best we have had. The dining area is well laid out and such a lovely space and the variety and quality of food was exceptional. The staff every morning would welcome you warmly and would do anything to ensure you had a great start to the day. Thank you to all that made our stay in Prague so wonderful!

Stayed here for four days and was absolutely blown away by the service. Every single person that works in this hotel took really good care of us and accommodated us in every way. we had two kids with us one two months old and the other one two year old and they took The time to help us with any needs we had with the baby and was very accommodating with sleeping arrangements and generous with toiletries
