Hotel NH Collection Taormina

Our stay here was amazing! The location is great, its just 1 min walk away from the main umberto street. Our room had an amazing view of the sea and Taormina. Upon our arrival we got a warm welcome. They took time to tell us what scenic spots we should check out and at sunset which spots would be great to go. Our initial room felt really hot and we couldn't switch to the AC instead of the heat because of how the HVAC system worked in the building and we couldnt sleep well. When we brought this to the front desk, Gabriele went above and beyond to help resolve the issue. He showed us multiple rooms and made sure we were able to switch out to another room with more windows and which had an excellent view. Really appreciated how Gabriele made sure our stay here was nothing short of amazing! At the end of our stay we even got a little gift! Absolutely loved staying here!

The NH Collection Hotel atmosphere from arrival through to departure was all about giving the guest the best experience for a most enjoyable stay. Alessandro on the door always greeting us with a ready smile come day or night and we did wonder if he ever went home! Gabriele on Reception who went above and beyond to ensure our room requirements met our needs. Alberto, always happily ready to engage and share his knowledge of the area. Eleanora was amazing in her guest relations roll ensuring we enjoyed trips of our choosing and checked in with us both before and after. Monica along with the other waiting staff and behind the scenes chefs ensured we enjoyed fresh tasty breakfast every morning. Finally the other behind the scenes staff including cleaners ensured our room and all other areas of the hotel created a pleasant environment for a perfect stay! Thank you all!

We arrived at the hotel on the late side and were warmly welcomed. Eleonora the concierge/customer relations staff person on duty quickly gave us some great restaurant choices and was able to make a reservation for a wonderful restaurant which was excellent. She also booked us a last minute excursion to Mt. Etna which turned out to be a fabulous experience. Following the Mt . Edna trip, Eleonora was able to book us a private time in the wet area of the spa. We felt she treated us with such special attention and we want to give praise back for such special treatment. Giovanni also helped us with some logistics and was great as well. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved everything about this hotel. The staff at the front desk were completely friendly and helpful. One darling gal even offered to mail my post cards home since it’s not straight forward evidently. The room was nice and accommodating although smaller than we’re used to. Housekeeping was exceptional with multiple straightening and treats daily. The location was perfect access to the fun things to do below in the shopping/ eating area. Will hopefully return here and will definitely recommend highly!

I can’t say enough praise for this hotel. We came from another Taormina hotel so could compare both and this one blew us away! We would stay here again 100%. Let me start by saying our room was upgraded on arrival. They danced attendance on us like we were royalty. Alberto was very kind and informative as well as Giovanni. The top notch service was performed constantly by Angelo. He was always there to help with a smile. The hotel itself is very updated and luxurious. The rooms were incredible with a large deep bathtub and two sinks. We were upgraded to a suite and had a huge backyard with our own jacuzzi and lounger bed. It was incredible! The breakfast buffet was excellent and nicely priced. The service was on point 100% here. I have nothing bad to say. If you are torn on where to stay in Taormina this is the place!

I would like to thank everybody at the NH Taorimina, we had a beautiful stay. Everything about this hotel is luxury and I would like to comment on the friendliness everybody showed us, the staff are truly exceptional. Clarissa and Alberto went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. The room was fabulous and the view breathtaking. The breakfast’s were a joy with gorgeous food in a beautiful environment. Dear staff of the NH Hotel in Taormina|I would like to sincerely thank you for your great help when we experienced a breakdown with our rental car 5 th November in front of your NH hotel. Your support, kindness, and willingness to assist us, calling a taxi for us made a difficult situation much easier , so that we were able to board on ferry back to Malta in the evening. Our great thanks belongs also to the taxi driver Mr.Angelo, who safely drove us back to ferry . We truly appreciate everything you did for us.

My husband and I chose this hotel to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and we were so happy we did. The location is stunning and the staff are exceptional at providing a 5 star experience. Eleonara was amazing and went above and beyond to ensure we were made to feel very special during our stay. The prosecco on arrival and spa vouchers were very gratefully received and the lovely gift she presented us with on our departure will be cherished forever!

Modern hotel with friendly staff. The beds, towels and toiletries were ok. There was good closet space. The room cleaner managed to get conditioner into the shower gel. There were design issues: not enough electrical outlets- almost none without unplugging a lamp. The electric kettle had a cord so short that it was hard to use. The bathroom had glass walls that were translucent from knees to head- not appealing and leaks light into the bed area, which can disturb a sleeper. The breakfast buffet was good.

Don't stay here if you don't have to. For 700 euros a night, it's a rip off. The rooms are as big as a closet, the beds are uncomfortable, and the cleaning staff is lazy and disappointing. Our maid service would forget to clean our room, not change dirty towels to clean ones, wouldn't clean the floors, or wouldn't change our cups/spoons for days unless harassed to do so. To prove a point, we left our dirty towels OUTSIDE the room in the hallway and the maid brought them BACK in the room from off the floor. Ridiculous! Furthermore, the staff was confused except for 2 employees. We had major issues at check-in where one employee said one thing and the next contradicted what the former said. Very unorganized, dirty hotel for a high price. Wouldn't stay again.

This hotel is an upscale hotel up the mountains of Sicily's Taormina coastline. It has a beautiful view with many accommodations. The room was perfect. It had an amazing view with a few nice luxuries. If you're looking for luxury this is the place. It offers a nice typical European breakfast. It also has a spa and gym. Parking is not provided, however there is a parking garage a few blocks from it where you can park for 30€ a night. The parking garage provides a shuttle to the center of town and there is about a 5 minute walk from the center of town to the hotel. If you're looking for something romantic, this is definitely the spot. My husband and I chose this hotel to make a quick getaway/staycation for our anniversary. It was definitely worth it. I highly recommend it!

Excellent hotel, excellent location. Just a few minutes walk to Taormina's Plaza IX Aprile and Corso Umberto. The service was great; everyone from the breakfast crew to reception was professional and very friendly. The hotel is very trendy, edgy and with a fabulous pool overlooking the city. It also has, arguably, THE best view of Taormina from the 7th floor bar. The standard king room without a view isn't that big but the bathroom takes up half the room which I really liked. Big thumbs up for the professional blow dryer. They don't have irons/ironing board in the rooms, but have a designated room on the first floor. The breakfast runs until 11 am and the buffet is quite abundant, not to mention the free prosecco. Need I say more? If you have a car rental, the fee is 30 euros/day to park at NH. Highly recommend this hotel.

Our experience at this BEAUTIFUL facility was over the top!! We cannot thank our Gabrielle for all of her assistance in ensuring that the transition of getting us set-up in our room was a smooth process. And such a PROFESSIONAL team!

Beautiful upscale hotel. Great location! Just a very short stroll to amazing shopping &eatries atCorso Umberto, walking distance to the Ancient Theater, & cable car to beach. Hotel has an amazing rooftop pool! Very clean hotel, rooms nice! 4 stars because food at hotel restaurant was terrible & wait staff rude. Front desk staff very nice & very friendly!
