Hotel NH Collection Valencia Colón

A charming gem of a hotel in the heart of the city. The staff were exceptional. Fabricio at reception was extremely welcoming and professional from the moment I arrived. Juan in the piano bar was so friendly and helpful and gave great local recommendations.The breakfast was beautiful and again the staff were warm and attentive. The hotel is relaxing and central to all of the main attractions. Everywhere is walkable and I felt very safe. I look forward to staying here again!

Great Location for exploring the city especially the old town. We had a beautiful family stay during our holiday. I appreciate the hotel staff efforts at making us feeling comfortable. They really listen to feedback and immediately act on it. I admire a team that welcomes feedback generously and work hard to better their service. Breakfast spread is very nice, lots of regional dishes. Angela welcomed us with her warm smile everyday. We really felt catered to and well taken care of. Special thanks to Beatriz and Jose for ensuring all needs were met during our stay. The lobby is not huge but there is a relaxing lounge on the second floor. Rooms are of adequate space. We were presented with a lovely gift from the hotel staff upon check out to remind us of all the good times we spent in Valencia.

I had an erroneous booking with this hotel but they were very kind to modify for free! It was even Trip.com who took a long time to coordinate and modify the booking itself. The hotel is in a very good location, as soon as you step out of door, you’re right in the middle of the shopping street with every nice restaurants and cafes to choose from. The room was neat and chic as well. We enjoyed our stay!

Nice retro style hotel, good ambiance, central location, good breakfast, well-cleaned and with nice amenities. ||The room was on the small side. ||The reservation was potentially a disaster: we initially got a “superior” room with a small window opening into the dark atrium, really unpleasant, felt like a prison cell. This was changed upon request to a perfectly fine room with normal windows - still ahead of the official check-in time. Thanks to the staff for being accommodating, but the dark inside facing rooms are definitely not a good deal and should bear a big warning sign on the booking sites.

This hotel is a little gem in a great location, just north of Russafa and and maybe a 15 minute walk from the old town, with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The room and the service were both great. Fabricio at the front desk is incredibly kind and helpful, a real professional. I would not only recommend this place, I would gladly stay there again my next time in Valencia.

Good-sized room (superior), good shower, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, good standard of cleanliness and maintenance. Good location. But the positives end there.||Entrance is discreet to the point of obscurity, and the entrance hall small and dark, with little seating. Not what you expect entering a four star hotel. ||Bizarre bedroom - kitsch, overcharged decor, full of clashing designs, useless objects and wall hangings, very poor lighting, no decent surface for working. I've never stayed in a less practical NH hotel room.||Breakfast room decor even fuller of clashing patterns and kitsch objects.||I shall not return - a decent hotel spoiled by the over the top decor.

A great hotel with a perfect location for everything in central Valencia. Rooms are comfortable and the decor great (plus superb blackout curtains!) and the service is impeccable. Breakfast options are very extensive and overall a relaxing stay. The only minor gripes - fitness centre opens late (8:30 am) and on the half marathon day the breakfast didn’t open earlier even if just for coffee and cold options - that would have been a nice touch

The front desk staff was incredibly kind and helpful, Juan the bartender was funny and warm. The rooms are gorgeous. The bed was firm but comfortable and the AC worked beautifully. Great hair dryer (not always the case at hotels!) and while the room was very small, it was perfect for my sister and I.

I don't usually leave 2 stars.. But when I do that just means they messed up big time... I was dumb enough to come here knowing they had 0 ratings yet.. And all the photos they have got my eye "Oh, that drink looks cool." I would end up regretting it.. I walk in there and I ask Wich room I'm staying in, they say what's your name and I tell them. Then, they tell me please give us your card info... That's.. Just weird, but still I gave it to them.. Next morning I wake up at 6:00 to hear banging on the wall...! I walk out and see that there having construction ON THE OTHER ROOM AND BREAKING THE WALL! I decided to go down stairs for breakfast and well... I ORDERED the drink they have displayed on this Yelps restaurant. The woman comes back with it and it looks nothing like that it looks like Gatorade mixed with piss. I was supposed to be there for 4 days... Nope I left on the 2nd day.. Thanks a lot FOR NOTHING
