Hotel NH Imperial Playa

The hotel has a good location in Las Palmas, Playa de Canteras. It is a recently renovated and clean hotel. In the near vicinity, there are many cafes, restaurants, bars, shops and markets. My husband and I chose this hotel for our anniversary. Although we booked a standard room, the staff in the reception offered us an upgrade. That was pleased us by considering our 6th Anniversary and an unexpected knee injury of my husband. On the anniversary day, our friends in the reception cheered us up once more by their nice gifts in our room. |The hotel has one large restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The food and beverages are delicious and nicely served. In terms of beach facilities, the hotel offers beach towels to use at the public beach in front of the hotel ( Playa de Canteras). Especially in the afternoon, the sea has many seaweeds and algae. However, the water is clean and nice. In the reception area, you might find cool water and some candies welcoming you. If my husband and I wish to visit to Gran Canaria in the near future, the NH Imperial Playa will be our first choice.

Upon arrival and checking in I asked if two rooms would be available that are next door to each other because I am traveling with my wife and my mother. She is over 70 years old and disabled, I got told that we could have two rooms on the same floor but they can’t accommodate for two rooms next to each other even though I booked 2 months prior.||I also asked if any rooms are available on the beach side of the hotel and when I booked with NH Imperial playas all of the photos advertised online show you a “beachfront” room looking over the beach. I was then told to get a room with a view over the beach it is an additional €25 per evening so another €350 extra for both the rooms on the beachfront side of the hotel.||So I accepted two rooms apart from each other since they could not accommodate for two rooms together, I’ve been out in a small hotel room around the side of the building that is filthy and also looking out on a block of apartments that have seen better days. There is thick layers of dirt on the balcony so I would recommend not touching it either.||Overall review - This hotel is on the bar with a 3 star hotel and needs a good clean before charging 4/5 star money to stay here. If you’re looking to stay in Las Palmas, Gran Caneria I would highly recommend to go somewhere else.||We are staying here for 7 nights in a room only booking and it cost £1,856 in total.||I’ll add photos to this review also.

It was very good staying at this hotel and surely i will recommend it to my friends and colleagues. Same like in the Philippines but i was attracted with the rocky mountain in view at the hotel bar, the view of the beaches were people and tourist enjoying the sand and water. And the shops are nearby. Great for walking in the morning yoi can smell and feel the sea breeze.

The location of this hotel is perfect being on supermarkets, bakeries and dozens of restaurants. The view from our third floor room enjoyed an uninterrupted view of the beach and the mountains beyond.||The rooms are clean and functional being exactly as described and pictured in the hotel literature. The double bed was on the small side but that was not too much of a problem. Catering for the nearby beach the hard floors are ideal for the inevitable invasion of sand. ||An enjoyable stay, we definitely picked the right hotel.

This is a great hotel. Really clean, beds comfortable (I actually asked for a mattress topper to make it a bit softer and they fitted one straight away), good black out blinds. Good shower pressure.|The staff are wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. They realised it was my husband's birthday from his check in details and bought him a slice of chocolate cake and left macarons in his room!|We parked nearby in the Puntilla car park. Lola at reception was really helpful with that and we can't thank her enough. The hotel location is fantastic - right on the best part of the beach. Breakfast was great - you can order eggs and bacon if you want it. Lots of choice. I definitely recommend staying here

I stayed at Imperial Playa for 10 days and absolutely loved it! 🏝️ The hotel is right on Las Canteras beach with stunning ocean views. Clean, comfortable rooms, delicious food, and very friendly staff made my stay unforgettable. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I wasn’t planning on having a vacation here but my dad had to stay bc of a health emergency on the plane.||Location: Excelent. Best view of the beach. Very good gastronomic options around. I liked it better than playa del ingles which is supposed to be more touristic. ||Services: Expensive but very good breakfast with beach view. |Does not have a pool but doesn’t really need one because the beach is amazing. No sun beds from the hotel. |50 euros deposit for beach towels properly given back last day. ||Cleanliness: 10/10. Changed towels as solicited. Spotless ||Room service: 10/10 extremely fast and very good food.

Absolutely loved my stay! The view was simply breathtaking – waking up to that scenery every day was a dream. The staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome; everyone was so friendly and helpful. It honestly felt like a home away from home. Can’t wait to come back!

This NH hotel is located on a great location. Stayed here for weeks for business. Had a room on 3rd floor for 3 week and had no issue with bugs , stayed on 5 floor for 2 weeks and complained about the bugs. Mentioned it to the front desk, not sure if housekeeping was instructed to do a better job. I know bugs are part of the tropics, but there is no reason I need to kill a bug daily. Further room is ok, no koffer maker in the room , but at the front desk you can asked for a kettle. The is a fridge and a safe in the room and that is nice. Breakfast on 1st floor has been the same the whole time I was there . No variation at all. To hotel management, I can only say do better.

Out of a silly idea, me and a few friends decided to stay at this hotel cause we wanted to drink a bunch of booze in a hotel overlooking the ocean. And all in, came to 30 euros per person. Why not. This hotel is one of the nicer hotels. Rated a 4*, but prices at (if compared to London) a 2*. That's Las Palmas for ya! Nice and cheap... but better quality. The rooms are modern and lovely. The views (if you get a balcany facing the ocean) had gorgeous views over the beach. I think for a smaller room, costs are about 50 euros. But I get the feeling looking at the hotel pictures, that the standard rooms are still pretty big. We got a super large room for 100 euros. Y en todos, vino a 30 euros por persona. ¿Por qué no. Este hotel es uno de los hoteles más bonitos. Catalogado con 4 estrellas, pero los precios en el (si se compara con Londres) un 2 *. Eso es Las Palmas para ti! Bonito y barato ... pero de mejor calidad. Las habitaciones son modernas y encantadoras. Los puntos de vista (si tienes una balcany frente al mar) tenía preciosas vistas de la playa. Creo que para una habitación más pequeña, los costos son alrededor de 50 euros. Pero tengo la sensación de ver las fotos del hotel, que las habitaciones estándar son todavía bastante grandes. Nos dieron una habitación grande estupenda de 100 euros. PS: Gratis wifi
