I stayed at Hotel Nikko Saigon with my sister during our family vacation, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The staff were kind, responsive, and helpful. We had an issue with the room’s humidity and temperature, but it was resolved quickly, which made our stay much more comfortable.
The breakfast buffet was a highlight—plenty of variety, fresh and delicious options, including fruits, drinks, and desserts. It was easily one of the best breakfasts we had among the five-star hotels we stayed at in Saigon. The dining staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. Special thanks to Chef Nam, who treated us with off-menu dishes every morning, and to the waiter (whose name we unfortunately forgot) who kindly brought us treats directly from the kitchen.
The only disappointing part of our stay was the Executive Lounge on the 23rd floor. It had a self-service vibe, even during cocktail hours, where guests had to prepare their own drinks. It was often crowded, noisy, and children were allowed, unlike other lounges that restrict access to guests over 12. The lack of staff presence also made the experience feel less refined than the rest of the hotel.
Aside from the lounge, we found Hotel Nikko Saigon to be a well-run hotel with genuinely caring and attentive staff. We’d recommend it overall, especially for the exceptional breakfast and service.
