The hotel location is superb. Couldn’t ask for more. 3 mins walk from the light rail to airport. It helps as I arrived late. Breakfast spread is good but the coffee machine is normal. If can alternate the dishes, if will be great for 3 nights stay. But I am happy to stay in the hotel again. Strongly recommended!

This hotel is very well situated and very good value. The staff are good and the selection at breakfast was excellent.|The room design didn’t work for us though although it looks good on arrival with a modern vibe. Sadly it is not very functional.|The window was frosted so we couldn’t see what the weather was like outside The lighting around the basin was hopelessly inadequate for shaving or contact lenses. It was basically one space with glass screens for the loo and another for the shower so the floor gets very wet. I doubt that the person who designed it has actually had to stay here!

The reality is, you’re not in the room that much because you’re out adventuring. ||Pros|• Super great location, just one block from the fish market and another half black to the famous wharves. |• Really nice breakfast!||Cons|• No AC. We are from the USA, and we like our AC. July wasn’t terrible, but trying to get any air flow from the windows while configuring the blackout blinds was tricky.|• Very, very small room.|• The bathroom situation was weird, as it’s just a glass wall, and there’s no partition between the shower and the room - just clear glass.

Very very nice hotel, we were there for 3 nights and we really enjoyed our stay with them.|They were very helpfull, and if you have a question they will do their best to help you.|The breakfast was also very good, and when we were not able to make it to breakfast because we had to leave early because of a tour, they arranged that in the morning there were breakfast packages at the reception waiting for us to take it with us.|The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were good. and nothing to complain about

Rooms seem very cheap in terms of quality due to decor. No counter space in the bathroom for any toiletries. Had to put everything on the floor. Fan did not seem to work very well. Very warm in the room with little airflow. The positives were location, Thomas at the front desk and the breakfast. Thomas was very helpful and friendly.

Nice hotel in a great location with friendly and helpful staff. Unfortunately, my experience with their Wifi internet service was quite bad--connection strength and speed would vary from acceptable to unusable and back, over and over through the evening. I had this experience in two different rooms on two different stays; both times I ended up using my phone as a hotspot because the hotel Internet was so bad. Otherwise, I was quite happy with the hotel.

This hotel is in a great location, within easy reach of all the main attractions and the station. The staff were welcoming and cheerful. Breakfast had a good variety of options. Room had an odd arrangement for shower and toilet. There was a fridge and tea station. No opening windows and no view, so couldn't tell if we needed umbrellas without stepping outside. Had to request a fan as it was very stuffy and need to run it all night. A fine hotel, but ask for a room with a window.

The location couldn't be better - right in the heart of Bergen and just a very short walk away from the funicular and catching the fjord ferry boat.|The highlight was definitely the breakfast. What an incredible start to our day! |Comfortable room, really good shower, and friendly staff.|Highly recommend.

Yelp
Great location. Near major attractions, including boat tours, restaurants, the fish market, Bryggen, and (if you're walkers like us) hiking trails, but off a very wide walking thoroughfare so the lack of cars and lack of bars across the street made it much quieter, I suspect, than locations on narrow busy streets. (I should note we had a courtyard/interior view, which likely contributed to the quietness; an exterior room would likely be louder but the view would be better.) The decor and ambiance were nice. The place seemed to cater more toward adults, and I appreciated the lack of energetic talkative children. We slept very well at this place. Staff members were helpful and friendly and, like most places throughout the Nordic countries, they spoke fluent English. The shower is was a bit different than what I'm used to in the US but it is similar to what I've seen throughout the Nordic countries, so I can't complain. The breakfast was a big bonus. So much variety and the quality was great. Hats off to the chefs! I would stay here again without hesitation.

Yelp
What a wonderful location if you are in Bergen. It is walkable from the train station and right on the plaza. It is close to the fish market, wharf, and Floibanen. The hotel in a word is adorable. Small but cozy. Customer service was fabulous all around. We walked around Bergen and came back and had a beer at the bar. Rooms are clean with some eclectic art. Just FUN! In the morning we had a great buffet breakfast accompanied by a delicious latte. Although we were only here a short 15 hours or so it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely return if we valer back to Bergen.

Yelp
This hotel had an amazing lobby bar area and every one of the hotel staff were so kind and helpful. We also tried the very stocked gym down the street. Overall great location and experience

Yelp
This hotel is right off a main square, offering fun people watching and slight noise. The noise did not bother me. The decor is very modern and fun, adding a nice boost of energy to the trip. Check out the website photos for what I mean. Note - the toilet is in a separate "closet" with a pocket door adding privacy. Hotel included hairdryer and minibar - I think the small bottles of wine/champagne were 150-170 NOK (~$20) Easy walk from the main train station - about 10 minutes and straight up the road. Also about a 3 minute walk to the flybussen (airport bus) pickup point. Easy walk to everything else touristy. The one big problem I had - the entry of the hotel looks just like a restaurant and all the signage refers to a restaurant. Tables in front and to the left, and on the right it looks like a bar top. When I first walked in, no one was behind the bar and there was one person delivering food to the tables. No one acknowledged me as I stood there with my large suitcase for several minutes. I actually walked out, thinking maybe I had come in a side entrance by mistake and the hotel lobby was a different place. I wandered for awhile before realizing there were no other entrances and made my way back. Although the name is obvious (HOTEL No13) I feel like they need to make it more clear that they don't have a traditional lobby. Restaurant food was good, but menu did not list all the ingredients. Not cheap - cost me about $220 (US Dollars) a night.
