Hotel Nordic Spreewald

Very cute and welcoming place. The service was really great and the breakfast was perfect - very thoughtfully customised, homemade, and with multiple vegetarian options. The location was quiet and residential. The room was spacious and clean.

What can I say? I am deeply grateful that we decided on this hotel. The Mollnars are just amazing people and made us feel at home. The room is amazing! Spacious, clean, and comfortable! Breakfast was also delicious with pickles from the garden as well as plum jam and honey! Definitely recommended!

Great place to stay. Cosy room, comfty bed, clean and nice appartment. A breakfast simply awesome, owners create a tasty variety of local dishes, cucumbers, garlic and onion marinated in many ways. Also, I appreciate all tips about local tourists' attracions. Great barn to dry wet clothes, place to sit in the evening. Thank you for everything, and hopefully see you again!

We chose this hotel based on the Tripadvisor reviews and they were 100% right.||When was the last time you arrived at a hotel and were greeted by both owners with a genuine handshake and a smile? At the Nordic Spreewald you will!!||They make every guest feel special, and try to cater for every wish. The rooms are very nice and spotless with good beds and modern wooden furniture. The beds are even adjustable! Only ore remark, the curtains are thin, so if you are a light sleeper bring eye covers.||Diner in the hotel is perfect, no need to go into town. The owner knows his wines and his Whiskies :)||Breakfast was plentiful, even with eggs to order and could be enjoyed on the terrace. Italian espresso and 25 different kinds of tea. Just wow!||We will be back for sure.

This place is awesome. For a relaxing few days riding a bike around and taking in the quiet and friendly surrounds it simply cant be beat. The food provided at the hotel was so good we didn't want to leave and booked an extra night simply because we could. The care and friendliness of the owners was astounding and we will definitely be back even though it is a 24hr flight from Australia. One of the best experiences travelling I have had. !!!!

So happy we found this little inn. Great location in Spreewald, with easy access to the canals and biking. The rooms were immaculate with nice bathrooms. The breakfast was filling, excellent coffee, and eggs made to order.||||The husband and wife owners were so kind and helpful. They rented us bikes on property and loaned us a very nice map. They even called a local laundromat so that we could get our clothes washed.||||Highly recommend!

I don't leave many reviews, but the brilliant service at the Nordic Spreewald meant I felt compelled. Lovely family-run hotel with lots of thoughtful touches. Delicious home-cooked breakfast with loads of choice, great quality bikes to hire at a good price and a nice patio area to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. Not to mention the lovely husband and wife owners that went out of their way to make us feel welcome. It was the last night our trip and it made it very special. We'll definitely stay again if we come back to Lubbenau - the Campbell/Windels x||||Ps. Although the location is further out of the Spreewald historic centre, don't be put off - you can walk or bike easily and it feels less touristy/more relaxed at the end of the day.
